Despite receiving confirmation and a reminder of our booking, the staff were not aware and there was no reserved table for our party of 6. After some discussion we were offered a table upstairs although would have to vacate it by 9. There was no ale as advertised.and the artisan pizzas are bought in and served lukewarm. One was still lukewarm after sending it back because it was cold. I don’t usually air poor service in public, however have tried to ring to complain twice and had no response to an email sent

Fui a Friska para almorzar con un amigo. El comedor se estaba llenando, ya que era claramente el horario de máxima audiencia, pero no había una cola y el servicio era eficiente y sonriente. El ambiente en este Friska es agradable, muy animado y abierto en el frente de la tienda donde se presenta la comida y donde ordena, pero es una pena que no haya más asientos disponibles. Mucha variedad en el menú para elegir. Mi amiga optó por la olla de arroz seitan Katsu, que parecía disfrutar realmente, mientras que probé algo diferente para lo que generalmente obtengo: el pollo pho. Me sentí un poco decepcionado cuando lo llevé al mostrador y parecían poner agua caliente en la caja antes de volver a poner la tapa. No sé si estaba esperando, pero definitivamente no era una olla. ¡comida! Sin embargo, en realidad estaba bien, para ser sincero, generalmente no me gustan los ramen o platos de fideos similares que son bastante espesos, prefiero mis fideos con menos líquido porque no me preocupa el caldo, pero lo probé y estaba bien, el pollo era la mejor parte, pero no había muchas verduras allí. En general, fue razonable para 5. 20 aunque. Simplemente creo que la próxima vez que regrese me atendré a lo que pedí anteriormente y puedo recomendar: la caja de arroz con pollo y gumbo.

Popped in the cafe to have a snack, was a great treat to enjoy cute little sandwiches and panini. Lovely little cafe to enjoy and part of the history of the cathedral

The cafe is in the busy St Werburgh's Community Centre so there are usually parents with young kids, people using the centre's PCs, and a very diverse range of courses and meetings going on. Food is veggie/vegan, some fantastic lunches (I a great fan of the cheese and baba ganoush toasties!). We've been going there since it opened and have always found the staff very friendly. Today they had to close early because of staff shortages ... but though they should have said no, the proprietor cooked us toasties, served coffees to a group who arrived later, made a drink for someone, and so on. Great as usual!

Absolutely beautiful place, a real gem that appeared out of nowhere. Had live music when we stopped by, incredibly good and pleasant singer. Good drinks and a uniquely decorated place. Recommended a visit

Still a nice enough place but a massively reduced Belgian beer menu (so losing the USP for a pretty expensive bar). Froth and Fries is an ugly new name as well. Strawberry Thief was class, which I guess Bristol can't handle. Totally unnecessary. So sad they don't stock the brilliant Bruges Zot Dubbel anymore.

Cherry blossom iced matcha - so so good! Baristas were very kind and the atmosphere is cosy.

Great little cafe. (Please don't pass the word, or I won't a seat). Last last visit, we three had :- - Arabica eggs holedaise (Winner) - Toastie (Runner-up) - Lentil Soup (Thin - follower on - wooden spoon)

Great breakfast for a really good price,

ordered £120 meal at 17:21 via ubereats, due at 18:20, then delayed and delayed and delayed until cancelled at 19:30. 2 hours waiting for food and then a cancelled order. what a joke
