The cafe is in the busy St Werburgh's Community Centre so there are usually parents with young kids, people using the centre's PCs, and a very diverse range of courses and meetings going on. Food is veggie/vegan, some fantastic lunches (I a great fan of the cheese and baba ganoush toasties!). We've been going there since it opened and have always found the staff very friendly. Today they had to close early because of staff shortages ... but though they should have said no, the proprietor cooked us toasties, served coffees to a group who arrived later, made a drink for someone, and so on. Great as usual!

Fabulosa cuppa y almuerzo!

Visited late in their opening hours on a weekday to get some uni work done as couldn’t concentrate at home! The team at the cafe have done an absolutely wonderful job making ‘a cafe within a community centre’ a little more special than others I’ve visited. With the tasteful, vintage yet cosy feel furnishings and lighting they have made the little place a sanctuary to curl up with a great coffee and a good book. I wished I’d taken a novel at the time rather than my textbooks so I could just let myself escape to somewhere fictional in this lovely little haven. The service, coffee, cake and music were lovely and the whole feel of the place was genuine and relaxed. Looking forward to the next time I feel I’m procrastinating so I have an excuse to return! 🙂

Lovely place to stop in for a drink and, as far as I could see, a meal or a snack, especially if interested in community projects. The building is a beautiful old school, with really nice unusual chandeliers, and all sorts of chairs and tables. The cafe offers a pay it forward scheme for others, which gives it a friendly feeling.

Second visit to this community cafe and never again. I appreciate Saturdays are busy as they run classes at the Community Centre. However a 45 minute wait for a weak coffee and dry piece of cake is unacceptable. Particularly when there is no apology or acknowledgement of the long wait.

What a great little cafe! Stopped in here today with friends and was so happy we did. Gorgeous little place, really nicely done with comfortable seating and very cool decor. The coffee was fantastic and the food was tasty too. I love how they source everything locally too and try to use recycled materials wherever possible. Definitely worth a visit!

Had a coffee and two pieces of toast with jam before my delivering my training course. Quality was good but I thought the price was a bit steep. Good atmosphere with a relaxed approach and good background music

Neck of the Woods is fairly new and makes the most of an underused area in St Werburghs Community centre. It is comfortably furnished with cushions and plants, serves good coffee, light snacks and yummy cakes

Love this place. Spent a couple of hours last Saturday morning here enjoying a tasty breakfast (sausage roll with salad and spicy tomato salsa) and looking over the newspapers. It’s cosy and friendly with a varied menu and they run a Pay It Forward scheme where you can leave some money for someone coming later in the day to use towards a drink/meal. We live just around the corner, so really glad to have this on the doorstep!

My favourite cafe. The is the first place I head when I get to Bristol or Bath. Best coffee ever and amazing cakes :-) I love the one in Bath by the arcade.

Un hallazgo realmente genial; gran espacio, gente interesante y un poco fuera de lo común, pero lo más importante de todo, un café increíble y deliciosos pasteles

Horrible service, if you wanna call it a service . Ordered coffee using qr code scanner provided at the table . Half a hour later , still nothing . Walked to the bar area to check , two people behind the bar , completely ignoring me , left me waiting . Managed to stop someone passing by the bar , showed them my order on the phone from now 35 min ago , they seemed confused and just walked away behind the bar , no apology, no explanation , just started making coffee.

Popped in the cafe to have a snack, was a great treat to enjoy cute little sandwiches and panini. Lovely little cafe to enjoy and part of the history of the cathedral
