Popped in the cafe to have a snack, was a great treat to enjoy cute little sandwiches and panini. Lovely little cafe to enjoy and part of the history of the cathedral

We found this lovely little cafe, hidden away by the cloisters. We had tea and scones and sat in the garden area.

The team who run the Cathedral Cafe are very welcoming and provide excellent service. All the food is reasonably priced and their baked potatoes are fantastic

This delightful cafe in the Cathedral crypts sells beautifully tasty and home made, soups, sandwiches and cakes. Do go visit when you’re in Bristol. It’s a bonus when visiting the excellent Cathedral and College Green.

The menu was basic, but the fare was wholesome and a very reasonable price. The service was excellent and friendly - when eating in a Cathedral you don't expect Michelin stars, but what you do expect, and I got, was a friendly and relaxing place to eat.

While visiting we decided to have a snack after visiting the beautiful Cathedral & was able to sit in the garden. But the bonus was adjacent in a room we could hear the choir practising.....Oh wha joy & felt privileged. The cake was nice I suspect homemade & reasonable in price.

This is a small and basic cafe at the rear of the Cathedral with a small menu of sweet and savory snacks. We had soup and a sandwich for £4.50 which was made up of a mug of soup and a decent sandwich on white or brown bread. A good cheap option for basic dining.

The food in the coffee shop sited at the far end of the cloisters is well cooked, appetising and competitively priced, for example a mug of courgette and pepper soup and a brie and grape sandwich at £4.50 well satisfied my midday needs. Not haute cuisine but entirely fit for purpose served in very pleasant surroundings

I love this cafe and secluded hidden garden. The ladies that run it are all lovely, the food fresh and homemade . Walking through the cloisters add an air of mystic and Dan Brown to your little visit for a delightful coffee.

Tea in a pot at a reasonable price. Jacket potatoes are very good value. Gardens are lovely and quiet and there's plenty of seating. Great place to sit and chill.

With inside and outside seating, you can take your pick according to the weather. Lovely cafe situated in what was the crypt (I guess) just off from the beautiful cloisters. Lovely coffee, tea and snacks.

Whilst the Cathedral Café is quite small it is good value. Indoor and outdoor seating is available (if sitting outside you are asked to clear the table yourself once finished). Both filter and bean-to-cup coffee is available. I had the filter coffee and enjoyed sitting...

Un hallazgo realmente genial; gran espacio, gente interesante y un poco fuera de lo común, pero lo más importante de todo, un café increíble y deliciosos pasteles

My favourite cafe. The is the first place I head when I get to Bristol or Bath. Best coffee ever and amazing cakes :-) I love the one in Bath by the arcade.

We were met by a very abrupt waitress who made us sit on a table for two, which had other occupied tables located very close to either side of us. There were several other empty tables where we could have sat without invading the existing customers privacy. We did not feel any of the staff were particularly friendly, the food was very over priced, and we took a very dim view of the waitress opening the front door and allowing the cold air into the restaurant on what was a very cold wet day outside. This made most customers feel very uncomfortable. We felt it was like they were saying, “we have had your money, so the quicker you leave now the better”. One customer got up and closed the door, and the waitress immediately went up to the front of the shop and opened the window. For how rudely we were treated, it’s a wonder they had any customers at all. We will not be going back !
