We stayed here in our Motorhome for 6 nights. We had a fabulous time. The staff were all exceptional, very friendly and helpful. The entertainment (70’s weekend) was very good. The food was not too bad but the beef (for the carvery) had been left out all afternoon so was very dry. The pizzas were excellent, we will be back.

My partner and I came here for a spontaneous lunch trip and our servers were B and Petra were absolutely amazing, they accommodated my allergies superbly! Food was amazing! Compliments to the Chef 😁 Pulled pork and cheddar sandwiches were delicious! Highly recommend!!!! Thank you! We will be back!!

Hidden away gem of a pub. Flagstone floors. Roaring fire. Unpretentious decor . Vintage furniture, even the cutlery is vintage. Delicious home cooked food. I had kedgeree followed by a sticky apricot and date pudding, both were absolutely fabulous. It is not exactly local to us but we will definitely go again and again!

We were fortunate to have a wonderful Sunday roast at The Millbrook Inn. Absolutely first class in every way, including the service. The best Sunday roast we have had in a pub/restaurant for a long time. Combined with the most beautiful location and a perfect sunny day, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thank you.

What a lovely pub! I visited during that horrible storm Darragh and after a sketchy drive down, it was so lovely to walk in and be warmly greeted by the staff and a cosy fire. I was meeting friends and we all live across the country and not local to each other, so we just randomly selected this pub as a central location. So glad we did. The service, food and atmosphere was all fantastic! Highly recommend the crispy pork belly! Delicious! We all loved it so much we’ve decided to make it our new central meet up for our twice yearly catch ups. Great food and reasonably priced!

The hot chocolate and cakes are to die for. We stop here all the time with the horses who get carrots from Johns deli next door. Staff are always friendly and very helpful - they don’t mind delivering our drinks outside so we can hang in to the horses - who now won’t go past without having their obligatory carrot stop!

Unfortunately this wonderfully situated pub seems to be no more. There is a fir sale sign on the building and it's closed. Did some online sleuthing and it was bought by someone who wanted to do it up a d reopen it. But that seems to have fallen by the way side. When a contact email was sent a query about what was happening the reply was when we are know, we will update on all media. Such a shame. There is a pebbly beach there, a car park and public loos. When it was a going concern it served lovely fish and chips. So don't go on the off chance as presently it's not open. I guess wait till they update their media.
