Awful, awful service. Was given a clearly dirty cup and saucer and then made to feel like I was asking too much to have it replaced, Milk served in an espresso cup so it could slop around everywhere. Toasted sandwich was served with a nice layer of black grime from the toaster. Staff were disinterested, impolite and didn't even apologise for the clearly dirty dishes. Tea was insipid and may well have been a previously used brew based on the level of service recieved. It wasn't even remotely busy.

Visited for breakfast. Menu and pricing ok. Food was mediocre. Beans served in plastic ramekin, I hope they were not warmed in it. Toast was standard medium bread. Eggs were still slimy around the yoke. Avocado, tomatoes & hash browns were ok. Would I go back, no.

Lovely place. With a sheltered garden. Clean and tidy with a good range of drinks. Although limited Real Ale options until the season picks up. Called in for a beer and some food. Picture of menu attached. For the only pub on the island it’s a bit pricy although the food looks good. £6:70 for a pint is excessive. Service slightly prickly at the bar. But staff otherwise very attentive and polite.

I had booked the wrong wheatsheaf I( relised as I arrived) they couldn't of been any better and more helpfull to fit us in. The service by the gentleman behind the bar was great. The food was incredible the chef even took time out to come and ask us about the sauce and how we would like it even after we finished he came out to make sure we were happy with our meals. Honestly can not recommend this place enough! We had the burgers and the prok chops with the chips with a twist and it was bloody lovely!!! Will be visiting again but will make sure I book the right place this time 🤣😊

A lovely tea shop on the High St. I sat outside the front on the limited pavement seating. The staff were lovely and the food well presented. The pasty was though expensive and there was no wow factor. The ice bun was heavy and sticky. The coffee was delicious. Would return but not spend so much.

An independent coffee shop at the top of the high street in an ex bank. Full of character, great coffee and cake, would recommend… would and have returned. (only a short walk from Sainsbury which has a large free carpark (2hrs)) (& dog friendly)
