A lovely tea shop on the High St. I sat outside the front on the limited pavement seating. The staff were lovely and the food well presented. The pasty was though expensive and there was no wow factor. The ice bun was heavy and sticky. The coffee was delicious. Would return but not spend so much.

Sat outside which is a lovely space. Had a jacket potato and beans/cheese - decent sized with crispy skin. Was nearly £10 which isn’t bad for the Cotswolds but nevertheless is a decent price for a spud! Took home some lemon drizzle which was very delicious and flavourful! Service was good and quick. Overall a decent lunch spot.

Stopped in Moreton in Marsh at around 11:00 am on our way from Bristol to Lincoln and fancied a coffee and a small snack. A local recommended this place and we were not disappointed. My daughter and I had the cream tea with the lightest scone I have ever had with lovely jam and clotted cream. My wife who is Coeliac had gluten free toast and we easily had enough jam and cream so she could join in. Excellent coffee too.

We had been enjoying a pleasant Sunday travelling by train from Moreton-in-Marsh, to visit some of the neighbouring towns and villages. By mid-afternoon, we were back in Moreton-in-Marsh and desperately in need of a rest, some snacks and some refreshing coffees. Having tried another establishment on the High Street, the day before, we decided to sample Tilly’s wares. On entering the premises, we inspected the cakes on display at the counter and then chose a table towards the rear of the main dining area. Despite most tables being occupied, a friendly and efficient server soon appeared to take our orders which were a mocha coffee, a cappuccino, scones, jam and cream and a chocolate tart. Before long, our coffees and sweet snacks were served. Everything was delicious and helped to recharge our batteries. The prices charged were reasonable without being cheap. When we stopped at the counter on the way out to pay our bill, we were thanked for our custom and bid a warm farewell. Highly recommended as a nice spot for some refreshments whilst visiting Moreton-in Marsh.

My wife and I took my mother-in-law here for lunch in August 2019, and we all enjoyed our meal. Two of us had the tuna & mayonnaise toasted sandwich, which was excellent (although surprisingly large!). Service was good, and the staff were nice, but they were so busy this lunchtime that it took quite while for our drinks and food to arrive (hence the 'average' rating I've given for that). The bill came to £35 (£38 including tip), which was very reasonable for three large sandwiches and three hot drinks.

We stayed in SotW for a friends wedding locally. It appeared everyone had come upto the Cotswolds for wedding that weekends at the White Hart was our 5th attempt at finding a spot for dinner - turns out 5th time lucky it was! We had lovely service throughout dinner, fantastic food in a really lovely dining room. Would strongly recommend, nice selection of drinks and main meals, could well be a lovely spot for dinner for two or small groups as well visiting the area.

Fresh food, great service, child friendly too, what more could you want from a restaurant serving Sunday Lunch. We've just come back from Sunday Lunch at Roots + Seeds in Cirencester. Crispy beer batter on the fish, really chunky chips (not fries) silky smooth mushy peas pretty much a perfect combination. The service was terrible…. a bunch of young girls who appeared to want to be elsewhere. We ordered tea and scones. We drank the tea and still no scones. When we asked about them we were rudely told “it’s coming” and she made no effort to check on them. They came 5 minutes later. We could see other people being treated as an inconvenience and being unhappy. Disappointing in a lovely village where everyone else is so friendly.
