It's just a lovely relaxing place to be. Friendly, warm and inviting. Staff are so very nice there they help me to my table if I need it... Just one super place. My friends enjoy going too... 😆 They also accept well behaved dogs which is brilliant for eateries these days 🌟...

31/07/2024 09.30 I called in for a full breakfast the breakfast arrived the bacon was overcooked and dry and the egg broken if fact I could have soled my shoes with the bacon. I have had breakfast probably 10 times from Odd Socks is this a one off or something to look forward too. The cook must have been aware of the foods condition when placed on the plate maybe couldn't care less. The cafe was virtually empty so not has though it was busy. I only wish I had said something at the time. It would have been nice if a staff member came around and asked how is your breakfast.

Not good.. we waited 45 minutes for a breakfast that we never had in the end. We were watching people that had arrived after us getting their orders and then to be told that basically we had been forgotten and it would be another 10-15 minutes wait that’s when we got our money back and left. Service was non existent and we didn’t even get to taste the food.

Such a gem in the middle of an industrial area! Very cute and full of personality! Very spacious, offering enough space for parents with buggies and prams. Various seating options- tables, sofas and booths, so you really are spoilt for choice. Simple menu, tasty food and well made drinks. I wish I lived closer so I can visit regularly.

Well the staff were friendly, the bacon sandwich was nice, but a bit overpriced. For what they charge they could throw in another rasher. Maybe it's my autism but I found the place somewhat confusing or maybe it was all the dogs allowed to sit on the furniture, or maybe it was all the cyclists everywhere being obnoxious. I don't know, all I can say is I found the place somewhat uncomfortable. We got takeaways and had to wait for the bacon sandwich, I was glad to leave if I'm honest. The coffee was very good though. Maybe next time just a coffee then quickly leave.

Standard English Breakfast served at a very reasonable price with decent coffee. Spotlessly clean with modern and well-serviced toilets. Dog friendly.

What a great find! Excellent customer service & very clean. We popped in for a coffee & enjoyed it so much that we stayed for lunch. Our food was very tasty & beautifully presented. Relaxed atmosphere & the facilities were spotless. We will definitely go back when in Cirencester.

Good sized breakfast sausage bacon baked beans mushroom and scrambled eggs with lots of toast very tasty but could of been hotter my tea was very weak and only warm sorry to say I did not drink the tea but 9 out of 10 would recommend

Popped in for a takeaway sandwich. Chose a Beef and Horseradish sandwich on white bread. Quality of beef was cheap supermarket at best. Not at all generous with the beef. There was more salad. Just a plain sandwich you might make at home. Had a can of fizzy drink too. Bill was over £6. Not impressed.

Stopped for breakfast here, very good value here good food and friendly staff, a few parking spaces around the side of the building.

Had lunch after seeing them on review site listed highly. Was a pleased as expected. Large modern cafe with very modern facilities. Had the tomato and basil soup. Well, expected the usual but got a fantastic dish. It was real tomato's and full Bail leaf's. Very tasty. Also had chicken sandwich which were lovely with full salad accompaniment. Very worthy of their high review rating.

Lovely team and really good coffee

We went for lunch on 27.1.23. We have been here a few times before and it is consistently very very good. Food freshly prepared, great cakes-particularly the orange polenta cake😊 and friendly service. The cafe environment is also surprising as it is on an industrial estate but inside it is very spacious, chic and comfortable at the same time. Lots of spaces for young mothers who were there with little ones in prams

Great place, now open Saturdays, also serving the excellent coffee from Rave coffee around the corner! If you want a bit more privacy/space/quiet for meetings vs Rave, it's a brilliant alternative in this part of town

This is a smart venue. Went in for a late breakfast (11am) because the cafe we intended to go to has shut down. I'd just said to my wife that it was a good sign that we waited quite a while for the food to be served because that made me think it must be being cooked fresh, when our food was brought to the table. How wrong was I? The bacon was a texture I've never experienced before. It looked like it had been cooked when the place opened and kept warm for hours, so that it genuinely felt like biting into cardboard. One mouthful was enough. Really unpleasant. The sausages were mildly better, but the skins were tough - probably for the same reason. I don't understand why a professional cook would put food that is all but inedible on the plate and expect people to eat there twice. Lukewarm beans and bland mushrooms didn't add to the experience. Toast and scrambled egg were fine enough.

We are visiting the area and always like to try support local cafes and businesses when we are away. Found this place recommended for breakfast online so thought we would give it a try. The cafe itself is lovely and staff friendly but we were disappointed by the offering and food. We had a shock having viewed the menu published on Google which had bacon and sausage baps at £3 so to discover them at nearly £5 for bacon and sausage baps was a shock - may I recommend you update your prices on Google so people know what to expect on arrival? we were then disappointed by the small rolls, you'd have got bigger rolls in Gregg's for half the price and found the coffee quite bitter. This was quite expensive for what we received and we left a bit disappointed and still hungry. By all means give this place a try, it perhaps just didn't live up to the expectations sold by online recommendations and the prices published online.

Good food, good place to hang out! Unfortunately can’t say the same for the unfriendly staff. Noticed they’re only chatty to some and not others. I have experienced this few times, this one lady was very rude when it was busy, I asked whether I get a salad with my panini and she said “not when it’s takeaway” in a very abrupt tone! There was also others around me who thought the same. Shame really ..

Can't fault it, reasonably priced food and very nice relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of room for groups and colouring for the kids. Loos spotlessly clean

We popped in for breakfast this morning - its a cafe on an industrial estate so we had no real expectations. The menu is very basic and a little dated but the basics are on there.... my partner opted for full english, I decided on the bacon roll and both had a flat white coffee. Self confessed coffee snobs when we saw flat white was only £2.60 we thought it may not be that good. Coffee served, and pleasantly surpised it was pretty good, food arrived freshly cooked and pretty good quality for the price. Service has OK so all in all we were pleasantly surprised. Only thing my partner would have changed is he'd have preferred poached or fried egg rather than scambled, thats personal choice and there was nothing wrong with the scrambled egg. A classic case of not judging a book by its cover. Score wise, its good, but tripadvisor only offer an average or very good score.

Very pleasantly surprised by this little cafe - very spacious inside, good choice of cakes (though we didn't try any this visit) and a reasonably priced menu. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The only downside for us was the coffee, we ordered Flat Whites, but they were both weak and wishy-washy (and it tasted as if it was made with long life milk) - hoping that this was a 'one off' problem, as other reviews have praised the coffee. Hopefully on our next visit we will notice an improvement.

We had breakfast here before leaving Cirencester during our Cotswolds trip. It is located in an industrial estate so not immediately easy to find unless you know the place. We ordered 2 cappuccinos and two slices of cakes. They were all OK, good quality. Spacious cafè with plently of choice for your breakfast. Very recommended

Lovely people and great food. Service a bit slow but the breakfast was worth the wait. Really good coffee and a great range of food and drink on offer.

Firstly and most importantly the cakes here are absolutely wonderful. Today we had orange polenta cake which tasted of oranges, with so much flavour/zest and amazing overall flavour. We also had white chocolate and raspberry cake and words can't describe how amazing that was to, with lots of raspberries and white chocolate -delicious. The coffee is great too. What also helps is it is a very large cafe, with lots of space and a really comfortable, chilled and safe environment – particularly when still considering the need for space due to ongoing Covid issues. Without doubt the best CAFE in Cirencester, possibly missed by many as it is in an industrial estate, however I would highly recommend visiting here and you will not go anywhere else once you have.

Visited on Saturday morning (serving breakfast until 1200) with our four dogs. Spacious surroundings, good atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious full-English! Well worth a visit or three……recommended!!👍

Found this cafe when had a meeting delayed at short notice. It’s fantastic, great menu and reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Eat in or takeaway. Lovely variety of seating options, table and chairs, sofas, booths. I would highly recommend this cafe.

Very clean good food and coffee.

Found using Google. Street View shows building is empty. Was previously a furniture showroom so plenty of space inside for social distancing. Chose coffee and cake and easily found somewhere to sit. Choices tasty enough, staff friendly and attentive and everywhere looked and felt clean. Street parking only which may be an issue for drivers at busy times as Love Lane unit employees seem take up most of the spaces. Only been in existence for about a year. I hope it continues to thrive as venues of this kind are not common in this area. Will return and try other menu options at some point

Lovely open area with no overcrowding and rammed in seating. . Tasty coffee. Very friendly staff unlike the snobby and unwelcoming attitude of other places like ‘somewhere else’ in Cirencester. This is a new business catering for a diverse range of clientele. I wishe them well in their new venture.

Honstly, my only criticism is that I wish this place was open 7 days a week. Top notch!

Should be called old socks to reflect the taste. Met there with a friend for coffee and bacon bap. Coffee was good however a dry old bap with some cremated bacon, very poor and never will I revisit I would be surprised if there is any longevity for this cafe.

An interesting cafe, but sadly lacks a cozy atmosphere. Still a relatively new set up, but it needs to find an image to focus on. Tasty Christmas cake and a wide range of coffees and treats available.

The best all round coffee shop in town no looking for a carpark space because you can park right out side the door.inside us so open & roomy you can always get seated.its last ke being in a classy hotel there has been no expense spared in the decor .then there's the coffee so good you can drink it black even if you useuly take milk & it's privately owned by people who know about coffee so check it out you will love it if your a coffee shop person

Coffee is great and fairly priced though it's lacking in savoury food options. Not really vegetarian friendly with just cheese sandwiches available. Asked for a cheese toastie and staff were happy to make one up for me but I received a sandwich - not too much of an issue so didn't make a fuss as staff were friendly enough. The place would benefit from some more diverse sandwich and toastie fillings... and some fresh bread; ends of my sandwich were rock solid.

Very pleasant experience, initially thought the food was a little over priced however the coffee and breakfast bap were excellent and really enjoyed it, worth the price in the end. Very clean and tidy, big windows let lots of light in. Staff were freindly and engaging and the selection of food and drink on offer was very good.

For lunch ..not a lot of choice for hot food..I think it's fairly new place so early days yet..

Great new addition to the Love Lane industrial estate. Spacious, clean coffee lounge with good selection of cakes and tasty coffees. Efficient service and the facilities are much better than most places in town. Perfect for our family as they allow well-behaved dogs too. If you want to drive there are a few spaces dedicated to The Coffee House round the side.
