Great pub, amazing food and was served by Gemma! Amazing customer service. Would definitely come again

Went here for the first time for a mother’s day meal with 5 of us, the food was nice, however temperature of food just about acceptable and portions of chips very small. Service was very mediocre, the staff didn’t seem to be communicating with each other, as we were getting asked the same questions by multiple staff members, the service was pretty slow considering how many staff there were standing around, especially later on when it was quiet, they just seemed keen to get away. The plates were taken away after our mains and we were just left for 20mins, no one came to ask us if we wanted puddings or the bill, probably would’ve been longer if we didn’t catch someone’s attention to ask for the bill. Also they had ran out of burgers and other things on the menu by 7pm which was disappointing. Wouldn’t go back.

Had a delicious roast booked last minute with a friend on a Sunday. Service was excellent, staff were friendly. Will definitely return.

Great breakfast and brunch spot, large seating area inside.

Not aware of cribbage match involving there own team regular change of landlord leeding to no community spirit.

Visited for a family birthday meal. Service was very good and clearly a big pull is the cocktail menu. The cocktails were well presented and interesting. But I can’t relate to the other rave reviews about the food. The menu is very limited - basically burgers, mini pizzas or salad for a main course. Starters were a bit more interesting but nothing special and at the top end price wise. In the main indoor area - if you like a noisy atmosphere then you will be fine, but the music made conversation difficult. All in all I’d say distinctly average and the food is definitely not worth going out of your way for.

Great performance by mostly G & S this evening brilliant singers and loved the costumes. Special mention for Jeff Trim and the Catherine Tate lookalike who were exceptional tonight.

The fish on the walls of the pub are very impressive, and I loved just looking at them seeing what is in the river. The service was great and the drinks were too.

I stopped at costa drive through this morning with my husband and daughter for a coffee to take on our walk at the valley, it was suppose to be a nice start to my husband's birthday, he wanted a mint hot chocolate and when we asked we were told they don't have any, my husband asked if they had any mint syrup to which the reply was no,so my husband settled for a latte, the server was very short with us, no effort was made with our order, no pleasantries was given, when we drove to the window to collect our order, our server, who we now know to be Kathryn, was very sullen and offered no customer service, I was so disappointed as a nice start to the day was ruined, the only time I got a nice response was when I asked the servers name! The coffee itself was not very good either, very disappointing service and not how we are usually dealt with by this outlet.

Great food and service! I love that you can "build your own breakfast" and also the fact that the breakfasts are still available at lunch time which is a rare find these days. Will definitely go back when I'm next in the area!

I had a couple of pints and a catchup with the IPL on in the background.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Waggon and horses - first of all the lead person was excellent- she was totally in control of our group and never once got anything wrong when ordering Then she was charming and comical - she matched all our comedians who thought they were funny . We marked atmosphere down because I had to find something 😬 ! - but the locals were nice and cheerful The food was just great - I cannot fault it Plenty of veg, great meats or vegetarian alternatives So it’s well worth it - lovely place that punches above its looks

Nos gustó el ambiente de la cafetería, pero desafortunadamente la oferta de café y pastel fue extremadamente decepcionante. Los pasteles eran pequeños y caros, y el café era minúsculo. Tan pronto como vi al barista haciendo el café en las tazas diminutas ya me había decidido que no volveríamos allí de nuevo. Terrible relación calidad-precio. Hubiera pensado que repetir negocios es importante para una cafetería - así no es como se hace para atraer clientes de vuelta.

I popped into Eats 101 for a breakfast and enjoyed it very much. The husband and wife team were very friendly and helpful. This is not a "fancy" establishment but do not let the décor put you off.

Quirky wee pub with the ceiling covered in steins and jugs. Very friendly atmosphere! Lively dog on the premises as well 😊
