Great food and service! I love that you can "build your own breakfast" and also the fact that the breakfasts are still available at lunch time which is a rare find these days. Will definitely go back when I'm next in the area!

This has gone down hill over the last year. Left standing in the rain waiting to be seated for no apparent reason. Cafe not busy but run by a very rude guy who seems to take delight in telling people it will be 40 minutes wait …..when not busy . Low morale in staff members clearly fed up with his attitude. Will not return.

Been coming here on and off since early summer with both a friend who I meet on a regular basis and twice with my sister when she's come to stay. Food has always been lovely although because its made to order and busy on a weekend there is a long wait if going early (10am when it opens for breakfast). This time came for lunch and was there around 1:30pm so towards the end of the lunch rush. Waited about 20 mins which is much quicker than the normal 40-45. I went for my normal of eggs benedict with side order of midi potato and my sister had the mushrooms (only remembered to take photos halfway through eating). Was very tempted by the avocado brunch as it looked delish but as it was cold wanted something warm. Will definitely have that when its warmer. There's lots on the menu I'd try and always check out the plates as they are being served. My friend has had the baked potato and salad. Even better when you've finished you can pop into the farm shop and then the garden centre.....the GC has great bargains

Foods nice but the wait is painful. 45 minutes for a breakfast when it’s not even busy is unacceptable. Always the same here unfortunately

Nice cafe...clean....polite staff. Food nice but massively overpriced! Popped in for a roll to take away. If I'd have eaten in then it would of come with side salad and crisps and a serviette. I just got a roll in a bag! For £6.10 I would of expected at least a serviette! Why you get less because your taking your food away I don't know.

Excellent cafe. First time here in April ‘23 for brunch. Really impressed with wide range of choice especially breakfasts and ‘build your own full English’. They also offer fluffy pancakes, which my wife & daughter had (bacon & maple syrup). Good size of dishes too. Quick service and helpful staff. It was busy on a Saturday morning but still got a table for four. The toilets are basic and tired looking, so giving four stars overall (rather than 5). The gents toilet lock was broken.

Not really sure what is happened to this Cafe. Used to be the benchmark for breakfast in Wokingham / Bracknell / Binfield area but won’t be going back after todays experience. Not the only one left disappointed and think they will have lost a few customers. Waited over an hour for our order , no communication whilst waiting and no apology. After 45 min waiting I went and politely queried how much longer our order would be was told politely by one of the staff it was next to come out but the stare I got from the dark haired chap in the kitchen was really uncalled for as don’t think after waiting 45 min my request was unreasonable. When the food did arrive the quality was a real disappointment. All in all the worst breakfast experience we have ever had.

Well after waiting for over an hour for a breakfast that cost over £10, was so disappointed was basically a plate of watered down beans and undercooked bacon. We was not the only people complaining, the gentleman next to us demanded his money back. Will not visit again and will certainly not be recommending to others.

Whilst the food is worth the wait but if you are in a hurry they should ensure you are aware of any food delays. 55 minutes today was excessive. We had finished our hot drinks and did not want to wait longer for more drinks. Pity as we started coming here more but will think twice now. Need to size up the kitchen if they want to keep growing.

My first visit here, recommended by my daughter who often meets her friends here for breakfast or brunch. The vegan breakfast was great value - good quality mushrooms, tomatoes, sauteed potatoes with beans & x 2 (I think) Linda McCartney sausages & a slice of sourdough toast with vegan spread. You can add extras like hash browns, avocado etc or do a build your own breakfast. Has soya milk too for coffees/teas & quite a few vegan options for sandwiches/toasties. Will definitely visit again.

Arrived and was acknowledged by one of the waitresses who said she would be with us shortly then proceeded to clean tables while we was left waiting. Several other waitresses walked past without acknowledging us at all, finally after waiting 5 mins a young girl showed us to one of several empty tables. My wife ordered the full breakfast and asked for no egg, to which the waitress rudely replied “you can’t have anything else if you do you’ll have to pay extra” !!!! “No egg” was a statement not a question. Although it does annoy me when cafes won’t substitute items and are happy to still charge full price when one or more items is removed, especially when you look at the menu and see it is actually cheaper to purchase each item separately than to buy the full English. The food was nice but the customer service needs a little attention

We stopped in at our favourite eating place yesterday for lunch and had the Lasagne with Garlic Baguette. As always it was outstanding - served in a hot bowl. Having been here regularly and enjoyed a delicious breakfast every time I was dissapointed by the exceptionally long wait on this occasion. One of the reasons we love this place is that you can ‘build your own’ breakfast as the meals are cooked to order so we are used to waiting but this was more than three quarters of an hour which was unacceptable, if we had been pre-warned we could at least have chosen to try somewhere else or even being kept up to date during the wait would have sufficed but to sit, drink our coffee, have the cups removed and not a word of apology or explanation may not see our return.

We were slightly put out when we saw the queue, more because we thought we might not get a table but our fears were allayed as there was plenty of seating so we took it as a good indication that our breakfast was going to be good. We chose from a very impressive menu that catered for all ages, from toddler to adult. We were advised that we would have to wait as everything is cooked to order but it wasn't a seriously long wait and it was well worth waiting for. The mushrooms and fresh tomatoes are gorgeous and fresh, fresh, fresh. The eggs, bacon and sausages are tasty and you know its farm fresh quality. My son, who is particularly fussy loves the "build you own" part of the menu, he likes to have both scrambled and fried eggs and this is the only place that gives you that level of flexibility. Plenty of parking and great decor. Staff all lovely and very accommodating. This is where the good news stopped. Ordered hunters chicken which consisted of a tiny piece of chicken with a couple of bits of shrivelled up bacon and very little bbq sauce, chips just scattered on the plate so not good visually or anywhere near good value for money, son had the same with the salad which he said wasn’t fresh. The other dish ordered was the chicken pie which was okay but once again presentation poor. Salted caramel sundae to die for. Could be the full package of the food was better.

Henry Street Garden Centre and Restaurant is an absolute gem for any gardening enthusiast! This place truly has everything you could need to get your garden thriving, and their specialty in roses is something to behold. It’s clear why they’ve been nominated for several awards over the years. The restaurant is a real treat, too. Their Eggs Royal is simply fantastic, and the caffe latte is one of the best I’ve had—smooth, rich, and perfect for a mid-morning pick-me-up. Plus, with free WiFi, it’s easy to settle in for an hour or two, catching up on social media or just relaxing in a cozy atmosphere. Henry Street is more than just a garden centre; it’s a place to unwind and enjoy great food surrounded by inspiring plants and flowers. Bonus point: they are dog-friendly. Highly recommend a visit!
