One of my favourite cafes for really lovely, good quality food. Lovely sandwiches and jacket potatoes with plentiful fillings and the most beautiful cakes and scones. All beautifully presented. It raises money for their charity which is a bonus. If you're a group it might help to book as it can get full up. Nice friendly atmosphere.

What a fabulous coffee shop. The customer service was second to none and they went out of their way to supply vegan food. We'd been to another place in Heathfield first and it was very disappointing - Noakes was so different. The staff were great, the customers were friendly, and my dog was made welcome.

An excellent menu with options for meat eaters, vegetarians & vegans. We had the veggie breakfast option. A filling and generous plateful of deliciousness served with chunky toast xxx THE BEST breakfast xxx

Castle Cottage Tearooms is fabulous! It has a very relaxing atmosphere and we didn’t feel rushed at all. We had lovely toasted sandwiches and the most delicious Victoria Sponge Sandwich! They have a very cute curiosity shop! Would highly recommend.

Jarvis Brew is a hidden gem. The coffee is fantastic and there are always a wide selection of pastries, cakes (inc. gluten free for a pal of mine) and even bacon rolls, freshly made, for my always eating sons! I am going to make this a regular stop for my morning routine.

Found this lovely cafe by chance on a journey between Tenterden and Hastings. Excellent value and great quality food. I particularly liked the extensive food options and the idea that you can build your own breakfast as lots of places no longer allow you to do this. They also cater for vegans and customers with allergies and intolerances. Very friendly and great service. Will definitely be back 👍

It’s the first time we’d been back since the new owners have taken over. Lovely outside space and bright and airy inside. It’s a shame they haven’t got a grip of service. Only 2 young girls dealing with taking orders, making hot drinks and dealing with payment, there was no structure and ended up in chaos, when eventually served, we hadn’t even seen a menu. Our food came but no sign of drinks. It wasn’t partially busy when we arrived. Two female adults wafted in and out the kitchen occasionally ordering the girls into order which only confused the situation and make them loose focus… maybe an adult should stay out front and prior to the shift go over the simple priorities of the hospitality trade. Greet your customer give them a menu… take a drinks order get the drinks to them then the food order. Each time they come back to kitchen take some dirty plates… keep cakes topped up, know what food is available. If you have outdoor space keep and eye out for new customers.The adults need to take responsibility and not leave the younger staff to muddle through which ends up in griping. Which isn’t what customers want to hear. Will we go back… maybe but probably not. Good luck in the busy holidays.

It's a beautiful Sunday and outside Geos this morning was a great sight. Lots and lots of cyclists, families and couples enjoying the sunshine sitting inside and outside enjoying this break in the weather. Geos is the absolute BEST coffee shop ever. Not only do they serve up quality coffee but the staff and ambience in there is amazing. How did we ever manage without this wonderful 'treasure' in our little village.

Cycled to polegate today and so needed a coffee so asked the locals if they could reccomend a coffee shop .they all recommended cherry tree .i wasnt dissapointed .lovely atmosphere friendly helpful cheerful staff and a gorgeous latte and cake .highly recommend this lovely cafe and look forward to my next visit ☕🍰

This place is a complete rip-off. For the third time in a row they tried to charge me extra money because I swapped an item for something different. In fact the item I swapped it for was cheaper than the item I didn't have. And then they tried to charge me for the cup of tea that was meant to be inclusive. I wonder how many customers get ripped off through this kind of dishonesty and overcharging. When i pointed this out they got defensive and blamed ME! I said I would not return and they could not have cared less. I suggest you avoid this place and go elsewhere. I certainly shall.

So happy to find this gem! Hailing from Boston area, I’ve been in search of classic pub experience and found it here. Phew! Generous portions of delicious, well priced food; friendly, highly competent staff all contribute to a great spot to visit.
