I am easily impressed because I love my food but I can honestly say this place serves the best steak I have ever tasted, quality meat cooked to perfection, not one bit of fat and certainly NO chewy grizzly bits. Extremely friendly, helpful staff. You can order by QR code on your table or go to the bar. I noticed a whole Vegan menu and Gluten Free options. Seating upstairs and down and outside on the precinct. Quirky decor with fancy lights, retro mirrors and pictures on the walls. Water Dispenser at bar all year round and freshly squeezed orange juice available.

I've been here thre times before and the services a food was normally good. The last time we were here, I have to say, standards had slipped. Although the staff were friendly, service took ages. When my food came, it was cold. I imagine being sat on the side, waiting for other members of my groups food to be cooked. It was a Saturday, very busy and noisy. It was not a very relaxing experience. A friend who ate here about a week later had a similar experience and won't be going back either.

I ordered a cheese and tomato toastie and was brought a cheese and ham toastie by what appeared to be the supervisor. I politely pointed out that mistake and he rudely announced it was what I ordered. I pointed out that I don't eat meat and haven't for many years so I was hardly likely to have ordered ham. He stubbornly asserted it was what I ordered, by now other tables were aware of our conversation. I again pointed out, I don't eat meat, maybe your server made a mistake at which point he stormed over to the counter and brought back my printed order! Underlining with his finger the word ham and thrusting it in my face. I said well I can't eat it, to which he was went and got me a cheese and tomato toastie, which he slammed down on my table without an apology. By now everyone around was staring at me. Honestly if Coffee 1 head office is reading this I think your staff require some extra training! And this was the chap in charge!!

Tasty lunch in pleasant surroundings. Friendly helpful staff. I had the cheddar and ham ploughman's and my wife had a bacon and brie panini

I haven’t even gone to GoRogue yet, but the customer service is already excelling! Ella has been an absolute angel, I was being very annoying and asking her for a lot but throughout she was very kind, accommodating and quick to respond. Popped in for a large fish and large chips. No other customers in sight. The lady said it’ll be a few minutes as I need to cook it. Perfect (I thought) lovely and fresh and hot. Well, the fish was as expected. Crispy hot and fresh. The chips were old hard and cold. Clearly been sat around since lunch or maybe days. The chips went in the bin. This meant that I’d paid £14.50 for a ‘large’ cod. Not at all large. Longer than a fishfinger but not by much. Tiny. I dread to think what a small cod looks like.
