Great place friendly welcoming staff great food

Yesterday we randomly found this gem. One of the best breakfasts we have ever had. The staff were brilliant and so friendly. They have a games and book corner for little ones and adapt for children. We highly recommend and will be back again. 5* The Breakfast blogers https://fb.watch/qPWDEM5bJ0/

Had an absolutely great time at an open mic night! Wednesday's from 7pm to 9pm. The server and barman Ash was professional, extremely courteous and just an awesome person. Thanks so much Ash, and Panero lounge for a wonderful night! Cheers 🥂

Great place to eat and dog friendly.

Food is always good. Sometimes a bit expensive. But on the whole, you get what you pay for.

Very impressed. Visited with a friend who is coeliac. We were offered a gluten-free menu on arrival (which was much larger than many other restaurants) and considerable care was taken when taking our order. Nice food and generally good service all round too. Shame that the background music was loud but otherwise would definitely recommend, especially to those needing gf options.

Lovely atmosphere AND IT OFFERS A FULL GLUTEN FREE MENU - YEEAAA!!!! Had items from the Tapas menu - really gorgeous food.

I had the lamb shawarma flatbread, and it was delicious. The waitresses were very polite and attentive. My dog very much enjoyed the puppaccino.

It was our first time to have dinner at the Panero lounge. We have been here for breakfast before and thoroughly enjoyed it. Dinner didn't disappoint either. The atmosphere is cosy and comfortable. We all including the furry friend loved it. The menu is one of the most comprehensive menu you can find catering for all types of palates. But the items were not just there for the sake of versatility but tasted very good too, for example the Nasi Goreng. We ordered six tapas dishes and three main courses and 2 sides with a couple of cocktails and a few drinks and I was surprised at the fantastic value for money. The service was prompt and the staff were pleasant and responsive. A good place for all events especially if you want to include your dog in the guest list😊

Lovely place, with good food and friendly staff. Prompt service. Only reason we marked atmosphere as 4star was because we dined at 10am and the restaurant was only half full, I am sure that if the restaurant was more populated we would have marked a five. Will certainly revisit

#Vegan Food and #DogFriendly - We're off to a great start. Food Okay so all but one of the group are vegan. This place had a fantastic vegan menu not just the token contribution that most places offer but a vegan menu with the same or similar items to normal menu just "veganised". This makes such a difference because it means you actually have a choice. Service We arrived around 930 on a Friday morning and the service was excellent the place wasn't too busy and we had a good choice of seating. Once we decided what we were ordering we went to the bar to order it and the person taking the order was extremely accommodating and helpful by that I mean suggesting options on the menu and making sure everything was ordered. Atmosphere So the interior decor might not be to everyone's taste but we loved it it was extremely interesting to look at. It was very relaxing and we managed to spend almost 2 hours there chatting eating drinking et cetera. Dog Friendly Some places say they are dog friendly but what they mean is they don't mind dogs sitting outside this place is happy for dogs to come inside as long as they are well-behaved and don't go upstairs this made all the difference for us. This place was great so I've added it to my list of vegan Cafes and restaurants. I'm pretty sure I'll end up going here again. Update. Went again today repeated the same experience as the last time I was there. Food and Service awesome.

Nice breakfast and nice feel to the place enjoyed it

It is a fantastic place, you can come across live music every Wednesday as there is an open mic. Dog friendly is another good point. I love that there are so many gluten-free alternatives and that it's delicious!

Lovely place, very chilled vibe. Food was good. It's not top notch food but it was delicious! You would come here with friends because its like a chill pub, You can play board games and stuff here (you can hear each other!)

Was my first time here today, we went as a family for the breakfast, we all was impressed with it, and great u can swap things on the breakfast as many places don't let u. Everyone was really friendly, staff all friendly, and like the fact u can sit where u like.loved the decor, very great place, glad we came there.

There was a sign saying wait to be seated, we were then told sit where you like. Are there any seats upstairs? Don't know, go look. The food took a long time to arrive, there was no beetroot in the beetroot salad, we weren't asked how the meal was. Looks like a nice place, but food and service is poor.

Service ran out of cutlery! Had ten minute wait for three sets then we were given two. Okay, they were busy. That'll explain why they forgot an extra egg on a big breakfast. On the plus side the food was good - when we were able to eat it.

4 adults 2 children, ordered food and drinks came to over £80 so at that price was hoping be nice, coffees arrived around 15 mins of ordering but still waiting for soft drinks so after 25 mins went downstairs and the tray with drinks on was just left on the bar. The diet coke was awful, asked to change it for another one but just as bad. Food arrived nearly and hour later and burgers say serves in brioche bun but they just came in brown bread rolls, mine had no onions or gherkins in and was cold, others food was overcooked and some cold, no one came to ask if everything OK. First and last time coming here. Maybe they had an off day.

Food very poor . Bacon was burnt . Also asked to change soup as it was spicy but not advertised on menu as spicy . Staff were argumentative about us asking to change it. Very poor customer service.

A place with cosy, warm vibes. We tried desserts and hot chocolate. Hot chocolate was lukewarm and didn't taste like chocolate. The desserts were alright. Carrot cake abit dry, brownie burnt on one side, but the torte was excellent. We were kicked out due to them closing, but they still had 2 tables sitting there. When I asked if we were still able to sit there, the lady said they closed 10min ago. When I asked how the other people were still seated there, she mumbled something through a smile which I couldn't hear. But I did enjoy the environment when we were seated

Popped in here on a Saturday afternoon, was looking for somewhere that did sandwiches / wraps kind of food. The food was lovely, good services and choice for a group member with tolerances. Will go back on evening to try the full main menu as the food coming out looked lovely.

Incredible place to eat. Came here for my birthday meal with my partner. I'm a ceoliac, so I was very happy with the gluten-free options. All allergy food comes with a little red flag on top, which really puts me at ease. Plus, the food was super tasty and hot and came very quickly. We had 2 lots of the tapas , wings were amazing! And the cheesecake to finish off was superb. You have to try the peachy keen fruit drink if you go there!

I felt I was sitting in a Parisian cafe. All the staff were very good, they worked hard and very efficiently. We'll be back.

Great menu as I have to eat gluten free. Food is great and staff lovely

Me and my friend waited 30 minutes for our food to turn up. When the waiter carried both mine and hers up the stairs, we knew it was ours as i added halloumi to my fry up. However, he gave my friend her food then took the Fryup to a different table. I waited 10 minutes and still no food arrived so my friend asked a different waiter how long for my food. He went and checked, and said there was a system error, but they was making it. I knew that the man who brought my food over had given the fryup to he wrong table as i heard her say to her friend i didn’t order halloumi and they even sent the meal back. When he brought my friends food over, i said to the waiter I think my food was taken to the wrong table and he said no, they just ordered the same thing, he was clearly lying. I kindly asked if they could remake my friends food as it was cold. When he brought it back, you could tell that it had just been microwaved and you can imagine that reheated salmon and eggs isn’t very nice. My food then arrived without cutlery so i had to ask for and when he brought it over, it was dirty.

We went there for the atmosphere and it delivered on that. I think I expected more from the food

We host monthly events here, the staff is always very accomodating even when they don't have enough people on shift sometimes and they always go out of their way to assist us. I would say having worked in places like this myself before that management really should look at staffing more, both from the point of view of putting enough people on shift, but also rewarding the ones that do work hard to meet customers needs.

We’ve been to many of these Lounges because I am Gluten intolerant but unfortunately for me this wasn’t the best experience for myself. I ordered a burger in which the server came out and said they had run out of gluten free buns. That was a disappointment to begin with in all honesty. I can’t complain to much as they did give me extra fries. I was also told I could have some bacon to make up for it but they had forgotten to put it on the plate. Not only did they forget once, I had got the bacon after asking a second time it was like rubber and not very nice at all. It was like it was sitting about and they just popped it into the microwave to heat it up! My partner had a lovely meal though and was satisfied. My son had a burger from the kids menu and that was good apart from the fact they had forgotten to bring out the little snack pot which is meant to be included which he has always would received in every other Lounge. Maybe it was a bad day in there that day but unfortunately I did leave feeling a bit let down given the good reputation of these Lounges.

This was my first time, but my partner has been before with our son, who had recommended it. I would heartily endorse his recommendation

Nice chilled atmosphere, amazing food (the Korean chicken burger is awesome!) and the staff provide incredibly service without making you feel like they’re hovering over you.

Was lovely food! Amazing taste truly. Teacake took 40 minutes to come out asked a young lad to see how long, never came back to tell us he did the same with Our breakfast which was ridiculously long 40 minutes as well, sandwiches too. The most aggravating part because the whole time was lovely but a ginger/red head young woman smashed a glass in the drawer of glasses and loudly shouted “fk sake” hope you have cameras and I get it you know probably wouldn’t of even held on to it if the rest of the time there, so we were there about two hours she was slamming things down shoving plates on to each other angrily huffing and saying things and just making it very clear she was mad and didn’t want to be there. She kept huffing and throwing her arms in the air and she was running around, I have anxiety and ptsd so this behaviour has me on edge my heart palpitating and feeling sick because there was absolutely no need for her anger. Because of it that’s why she smashed all the glasses and I’m sorry when I burnt my hand and swore when I worked in the kitchen years ago I willingly came out to apologise and that was in the kitchen! But just in case anyone heard me. She made people feel like they were the problem. I do hope to return but we’ll see.

I come here every now and then when I'm in the area, the halloumi burger and fries are always really nice, but my friend and I ordered banana milkshakes which she recommended and it was awful, wasn't even cold and tasted like regular frothy milk I went down to complain and he just added more flavouring to it which didn't make it that much better to be honest. They've removed a lot of nice options such as the mango colada which is such a shame I used to get it all the time , and they're loaded fries. Other than that, their food is lovely

Went with a friend for dinner, have been before but only for brunch. My friend and I sampled two non alcoholic drinks, my friend the non alcoholic rum and I had an elderflower breeze, both were delicious, a little shame the non alcoholic one was in a shorter glass but very tasty. I opted for the fish finger sandwich and my friend more of a main meal, both very good. Loved the atmosphere vibe, relaxed but cool interiors. Service good, will come again and a plus point food served all day as in you can have cake, breakfasts or mains all day long, no set times for certain foods which is a big bonus.

Came here for breakfast because of the variety of gluten free options available. Ordered a child's breakfast ehich came with a free carton of juice, a normal large breakfast and a gluten free breakfast. Was very nice for what we recieved just on the more expensive side.

This is a really wonderful restaurant bar located on Palmestone Road precinct. The decor is stunning in this commodious space. The menu is next level and rhe staff are very lovely. Highly recommended.

First time we have tried the restaurant..the atmosphere and decor was good the food was quickly served. I had the Vegan burger with Vegan bacon..it was nice i probably wouldnt have it again though . My wife had the Buttermilk chicken and she found it very dry. Our friends had the chilli and fallafel flatbread and they said theirs was very nice..I asked for some more bread to go with my hummus as there was only a little bit that came with it but i was told to go and buy some from the bar...very disappointed! It was very quiet for a saturday night but i think this is possibly due to the fact that when i rang earlier in the week to book a table for 4 people i was told i couldnt book as they only take bookings for 8 or more people.That was almost enough for me not to bother going as i thought i might not get a table if they were busy, i guess if a lot of people experience the same then a lot of potential customers just dont take the chance and visit. Apart from that the food was nice and i would probably go again to try out the large menu that caters for every need Vegan, Gluten free and of course carnivores.

Came here today. To be told by a rude assistant that I had to walk upstairs to tell him a table number. Whe I challenged this system he didn't say sorry. He rudely said 99 percent of people are happy with it. Disgusting. Won't ever come in here again

Good food and dining experience for authentic Hong Kong dim sum!!

We had a coffee, orange juice and a lime lemonade. We sat outside on the street and ordered through the scanned barcode. The drinks came very quickly!

Its a real shame I'm having to leave such a poor rating for Panero lounge. Order: two burgers with sides, separate portion of patatas bravas and two portions of streaky bacon, two cappuccinos and a glass of coke. Burgers were super fat and potentially not of the best quality as the whole family suffered with stomach pains later on (we don't normally get anything like that). Two portions of bacon that were ordered separately were shoved into burgers for some reason even though they were ordered as a separate dish. Food took a good 30 min to be prepared and that's with no people inside at all. All in all I'm giving Panero lounge a 2* rating as there is an absolute tone of room for improvement. The actual staff were friendly and professional.

As always, food is AMAZING! However, while I can't remember what I normally pay for my usual, it seemed a little more expensive. In any case, going to any Lounge is always mouth watering and exciting! One thing - the app/website needs to be speedier and more responsive as I'd got cutlery delivered to table before the confirmation of the order actually came through!

We just had a couple of drinks,no food but the menu looked good. Its a lovely quirky place,the decor and lights are fab!

What a brilliant place this is, it's dog friendly so we meet up with my brother and his dog for a Sunday morning breakfast every few weeks. The food's great, prices are keen and it's got a lovely atmosphere. It's also just as good during the week, you can sit inside or outside, the service is great and the staff are very friendly. Love it.

Every experience I have had here has been wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The service is exceptional and the food has always been brilliant. I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner here over the last 6 months and no complaints. I have dairy and gluten allergies and they have always accommodated perfectly. So impressed and recommended all the time

For excellence in atmosphere, helpful staff, warm welcoming and exceedingly fabulous food, this is the only destination you need. There is nothing that I nor my friend could find to complain about. A special mention should go to the Chef Russell and his Team (including the cutlery & crockery technician) as the food was incredible. We had the Tapas and shared dishes which in all honesty tasted just like the Tapas in Cadiz or Rota or any of the small villages along the coast of Spain. Thank you to everyone involved in making this a wonderful evening and I can assure you, we will be back and we will be eating. For photos of the food, I could not do justice to the plates but I promise you this, the tapas in Southsea is eaten with the eyes first and then your palate. Just stopped in for Sunday afternoon coffee with a friend before going on somewhere, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and dogs are welcome. Looked at the menu which made me want to go back for food another time

Awful brunch. Normally we come here for a drink and some cake. Today came for brunch and decided to try something different and was so disappointed cold and warm food in one plate and tasted all awful. I'm not sure who created this menu. 1 out of 10 for both choices we had Shakshuka and Miami brunch. Both served warm,presentations, and taste awful. I do not think we will come back here anymore. Please change your brunch menu or taste yourselves what you are serving. Sorry didnt want to be so negative as we love the design of this place. It's is very comfy and lovely inside. Design for this place 10 out of 10 very cosy, we love it, but brunch disappointed us today

Good food, good service, confusing decor

Fantastic choice of breakfast menu , which includes vegan and vegetarian dishes 😋 that are absolutely delicious, would definitely go back although did not particularly enjoyable waitresing service, so only for that reason 3 stars. Otherwise, it was a great layout, decor and location! Worth a visit
