Was delayed on the M25 for 1 hour and just made the Eurostar train. Usually get to Ebbsfleet early so I can grab a coffee and was still able to as the service team were so on the ball I got a takeaway for the train, so I really appreciated the speedy and efficient service as well as a lovely Americano. Thanks Caffe Nero.

Order pretzels bites . The price has gone up and seem to be smaller portions.. chewy and alway cold ! . Gave me the bites but befor they took them out off the bag .. I asked for a bag she said 5p !! food products you don’t have to pay for a bag with .. day little robbery ! I no it only 5p but it adding up for them . Let hope that the card machine charged them more then the 5p bag ..

I thought I’d give this a try, I stumbled upon this place by chance, it looks a welcoming place and the coffee is ok, I ordered a regular latte which was priced at £2.90 but when I checked my card later on I was charged £3.50, so based on being overcharged I will not recommend this place and tell people to avoid it, how many more customers have been overcharged and not know it.

5 Stars – A Truly Exceptional Experience. We recently hired The Malt Shovel for a celebration of life following a funeral service, and it was nothing short of outstanding. From start to finish, the level of care, attention to detail, and professionalism shown by the entire team was incredible. The landlord, Neil, was absolutely amazing – he gave us all the time we needed, offered expert guidance throughout the planning process, and ensured that everything ran smoothly on the day. Nothing was too much trouble. The venue was well-organised and equipped with a media screen and PA system, which were perfect for speeches and tributes. The food was exceptional – generous in volume, varied in selection, and top quality. The team were responsive, attentive, and made everyone feel welcome and looked after. What they helped us create was more than just an event – it was a beautiful, memorable celebration that perfectly honoured our loved one. It’s something we will never forget. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a warm, professional, and truly caring venue. I’m sure many of our guests will be returning to the Malt Shovel in the future. Well done and thankyou.

Had a lovely time in Waitrose food hall, I popped in to get something to eat!! The staff was lovely very helpful, the food was great to eat!! So fresh and extremely tasty with lots of different options to try, it's my new place to eat at!! Not expensive too!! Loved it!!!

Lovely place but way to expensive

I went here for lunch with a friend the other week and I was absolutely amazed. The food was amazing and so fresh, the staff were very polite and attentive. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating with plenty of room, outdoor seating was perfect on such a hot day! The overall vibe was just unreal and I already can’t wait to visit again!

Kind and helpful staff. I loved my matcha frappucino with coconut milk.

Had a takeaway today, wings were dry, there was no way they were cooked today. Mac cheese bland, everything was cold and there was a random waffle in there.

Wouldn't bother coffees really watered down and filled so high it spills everywhere and nearly burns you. Spent nearly 20 quid for them to be thrown in the bin.

Went yesterday to find the place is all boarded up. I don't know if it is shut for refurbishment or if it has shut down permanently. This is the second coffee shop I used that has been closed. My favourite was Costa in Waterstones. That's gone too.

I have visited several times. It is a nice intimate setting. The food and drink is always good, nicely presented. The service is friendly and professional. It has indoor and outdoor seating for meals and drinks. It also has disabled access. It is a really nice place to while away time with friends.

We visited the cafe on Saturday 8th March, and experienced appalling service. Waited ages to get served, the lady was too busy talking to the customer in front who had a little dog with her! Then two other colleagues started talking to the lady as well. Didn't think dogs were allowed in there, especially being in the cafe part. The lady on the till was back and forth, taking food to the table and orders being placed taking them out the back!! Terrible service, there was plenty of staff who seemed not to be doing much. We waited ages for our coffee's, got them almost finished our drinks before our lunch arrived, they were sandwiches, which to be honest doesn't take that long too prepare, plus they didn't all come out together, my son had almost finished his before mine and my husband's came out. The cafe wasn't even that busy!!

We have been using this Costa since it came to Bluewater but the last couple of visits have been a total let down. Coffee (lattes) today were horrible. I am sure milk had bern watered down - my Panini was medicore at best and would have bermen more palatable with salt and pepper plus £2.85 for a small Bakewell Tart is a total joke. Sorry Costa Bluewater goodbye

We booked the private room for a business lunch for 17 people. It was £300 booking fee but because it was daytime we negotiated it down to £100. Menu sent 2 weeks prior as everything had to be pre ordered. Day he fire event sent new menu- told any changes can be booked on day. Annoying but ok these things happen. We arrive- room not ready. Left for 15 minutes waiting for room.clearly forgotten we were coming. We said if you can’t accommodate us tell us now and we will go elsewhere. Told that kitchen will be fine. Finally get into room- has other things stored in it, no prep done other than cutlery put out. Then waited 10 minutes before anyone came to do drinks. Then given our preorders and three menus and told to check order against new food options! Drinks took ages. Had to take sheet with new orders to bar. About 15 mins later they come to say some of the new food not available. Unbelievably unprofessional. Whole thing was a joke. We were set to be there for 3 courses and drinks. We told them not to bother with anything else other than mains. Server comes down with first meal ( we have been here an hour) and yells like a fishwife at us. We stood up and left, got our £100 room fee back at least. So embarrassing for us as we were hosting a business lunch. Try to use local businesses and this is how they treat you. Never again.
