Costa Coffee in Dartford

I have been coming this costa for a few years now and I can not fault the service. Red head manager, ginger guy with glasses and another lady with blonde hair who sometimes put colours in to it. Those 3 seem to be the longest employees in this branch. I watch as I eat my toast and drink my coffee. They seem to master their customers needs pretty well. Always professional. Some days I feel low and each time I enter costa it’s like a safe space. All 3 manage to make me feel special whether that’s just general chitchat or going out of their way to bring your items to you when not so busy although even when busy they may still bring items too you, it does happen. They seem to do this with ALL of their customers. I doubt I could work here as it is always focused on making the customer happy which in turn means the employees have to present them self positive at all times. I think this is quite powerful showing sheer grit and strength to be able to do this day in day out. When there is an issue they do seem to try rectify it asap. Extremely happy I am able to experience this when I visit. Keep doing your thing guys it’s appreciated from all your customers :)

Nearly broke my teeth eating chocolate cake ! When come back to the till point and pointed out that the cake was old they did offer me new fresh slice , cappuccino was delicious.

I usually come here quite often for a coffee and snack, maybe once or twice a week, and it's always a pleasant experience. It gets slightly busy around lunchtime, but it's never overcrowded. I like the fact that the tables and chairs are spaced out somewhat, instead of being cramped around, it gives the place a chill atmosphere. The staff are friendly and very polite, I'd really like to tip them gratuity for the good service, but I don't carry any physical cash on me. Overall, I'd give it a solid 9 out of 10, I just feel that the only improvements could be to reduce the number of long tables in favor of smaller booth seats.

Been going here for years and returned several times recently with friends and on my own for coffee and cake or lunch. Warm, welcoming staff. Cakes are nice. Very keen on the bacon rolls.

a normal costa that is very popular, during the winter when to cold to sit outside it can be very crowded. staff friendly but long queues can build up.

A very peaceful costa serving standard costa products but it is quite enough with enough room between tables to chat fairly privately.

Pleasant friendly staff, large clean internal seating area. There is outside seating as well, only downside it is right next to the main road through the town. Usual selection of drinks and food that you would expect from a Costa.

Ordered the ‘flat white‘ coffee, nice taste but Luke warm. Had toast and marmalade which was great, nicely cooked and made up for the warm coffee. Staff pleasant enough, clean and tidy seating area. Priced as normal.

Popped in for a coffee/ tea and a portion of toast whilst waiting for the shops in the retail park to open. Usual level of service and very nicely cooked toast!

This is my favourite Costa which I visit a lot. I popped in 2 days ago for a quick coffee and sandwich. I ordered an americano coffee and an egg mayonnaise sandwich. I chose this particular sandwich as it had the lowest carb count. I am type 1 diabetic and have a strict daily intake of carbohydrates. I happily consumed my food and drink believing that I had taken enough insulin to match the carbs I consumed. I took my time and then left. Whilst at my next location I began to feel rather unwell so I checked my blood sugar which had rocketed from 7.6 to 14.8mmls. I counted the carbs correctly and took the correct amount of insulin to match this? Sadly each time I eat food at Costa it all has this effect? So I feel that their food labelling is somewhat incorrect especially the carbohydrate content in their food - as I am always unwell afterwards. Having had diabetes for many years I have had plenty of experience and do not make silly mistakes!

The only problem with this Costa is that they cannot deal with the queues either poor staff or insufficient staff. Once served coffee is good.

A very friendly and clean Costa but not enough staff available. Queues out of the door and staff run off their feet.

... But it does a little bit - really friendly and open coffee shop with approachable staff. We've been coming here for years and we love it.

I don't really do coffee and try to avoid the chains whenever i can. But i had time to kill while a friend of mine shopped at B and Q. It was a good decision. I actually chose a smoothie on this hot day. I don't usually do those either but the green glowing alien fluid looked appealing. The place had doubled in size since i last came here. It remains popular. and to be honest, a costa is a costa is a costa. But this one came with cheeky entertainment. Hayley, please step into the electricwarrior spotlight and take a bow. She was fantastic. Very professional and friendly, and she understood how to repond to my...ah...eclectic humour. In my strange electric world, if you can turn an ordinary transaction into something with humour then the world becomes a much better place. She was very coy about where she hides her tattoos, was brave enough to show me her tongue when i asked ( I spotted the piercing! ), and is fully loaded with enough oestrogen to make my legs go all wobbly for the rest of the day. A great experience. Well done!!

Catch up with my sister. It was very busy for a wed am I was very surprised. My sister had a latte and I had a hot chocolate. Very reasonably priced and the service was friendly and quick. We stayed for over an hour chatting and was not hurried along or asked to move as others where waiting for a chair. There was quite a lot of rubbish and spillages on the floor and they were not addressed.

Visited, the atmosphere was tolerable, the coffee as expected, pleased to be served, wonderful. I happened to be in a rush.

He visitado tres o cuatro veces y en mi experiencia el personal ha sido siempre muy profesional y en la bola. El interior es en realidad mucho más grande de lo que parece desde el exterior, lo cual es bueno ya que puede llegar incluso a mediodía muy ocupado durante un día de semana, especialmente en un día de mercado.

I'm in this shop more then my home lol ! Good staff and I don't have to ask for my drink as they are on the ball and I would like to recommend this shop to all that pass by it.

Visité a un tiempo popular en un día laborable. El personal era muy atento, servicial y educado. Toda la experiencia fue realmente muy positivo y debería estar en el área de nuevo no dudaría en volver. Había algunos plug sockets disponibles dependiendo de donde otros clientes estaban sentados.

Recently refurbished. Has lost its previous 'cosy' atmosphere. It's basically now a hall with lots of tables & chairs. Nothing special about it whatsoever. Staff seem 'lost'.

I have coffee here every day that I'm off. The staff are the best (apart from one!). They deliver yr order with a smile and service is CONSISTENTLY excellent. Can get really busy on market days. Outside seating for those that want to inhale fresh polluted air..

Every time I have been here there have been problems. However, the staff were doing their best so full marks for them. The coffee also very acceptable. Costa needs to review this branch.

Brilliant atmosphere and service. I go to costa coffee in Dartford once every week after 6th form for a treat and it is a lovely one. I either have a regular or large hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, it depends on the day if I dink my chocolate inside or take it away but, both are very lovely.

Gutted went there today and checked with the lady that my card was scanned she said yes gone through! It hadn't though no points added and to top it off my drink was tasteless! I won't be using thistle again would rather drive somewhere else!

I always stop here for a coffee whenever I am in dartford. The service is friendly, attentive, and they make a mean cappuccino.

It's Costa so you kind of know what your going to get.Used to have a real locals feel, but that has changed.

Went to dartford shopping and popped in to the Costa coffee restaurant and had a lovely cup of coffee. We were served almost immediately and had the coffee brought to the table for us. The waitress was very nice and courteous will pop in again

I like every thing about Costa. But if there happens to be Tiffin cake I cant resist.only the lemon cake stands a good second.

Should have wrote this a long time ago.I am a frequent visitor to this Costa and it is by far my favourite Costa.... and I have sampled many!Staff are always very friendly, professional and always cheerful. Having your order delivered to your table is a wonderful extra.

No different on the outside to any other Costa franchise, however inside it's great. The staff have all worked here for some time, table service is a nice little extra and well placed to grad your morning hit on the way to the station.One small extra would be to have non-voucher wi-fi authentication but that's all I can say.It's my local and will remain so for some time
