Our first visit and was made welcome. Good selection of drinks and a friendly atmosphere in this locals pub.

Nice place, friendly staff, great place to watch the footie, only downfall for us personally is that dogs aren't allowed, we do understand but it would be great if they were even just allowed in the garden then we would visit more often 😊🍺🐾

We didn't eat here, but the food seems to be very good and home cooked. There is only one person serving in the day, which is quite busy, so a bit of a wait at times. The price of Guiness is too high at £5.90! Also no real ale available. A good friendly crowd of locals, never any trouble. Good pub for watching sport on 3 or 4 large screen TVs. Views over the Thames can be seen up some steps and there is good seating.

A quiet little pub on the Thames Estuary, recieved a warm welcome, can't comment on the food because just stopped for a quick drink on the waterfront

Pool table desperately needs renewing it must be taking at least £600 per month , could easily lease a new one for half of that

Great village boozer. Staff are fantastic. Plenty on tap. Nice area outdoors overlooking the river. Family friendly. Highly recommended

Used to love this place but everything seems to have gone south now not as friendly as it used to be Karaoke is fun but no WiFi and sometimes lights are off even in the dark not as nice anymore

Service was bit slow and need more to listen to costumers As getting order wrong and try to say that she got it right and costumer got it wrong? Seriously? Not good More training to do for hr please! But the pub is very cozy by the river

Lovely tradition pub with cosy fires and good selection of beers - good inside and outside space which looks over Thames. Good atmosphere and Food was excellent and great value. I very much enjoyed my visit.

Yet another pub that doesn't serve real ale. Not even a cask pale ale. Large selection of bottled ales but if I wanted a bottle of Doombar I could buy one for a third of the orice in the supermarket. Real ale beeds to be from the barrel. I'm tired of the excuse that they can't sell it. Plenty of other pubs manage and how difficult is it to turn round a 9 gallon cask. Shame as the pub and staff were friendly.

It was absolutely amazing, the pub was full there was a party on with karaoke and it was outstanding. How often can you turn round and say you made 6 new friends in a bar you'd only just walked into. Everyone was nice and welcoming and to top it off the beers good too

Nice pub within a local community. The only issue is prices are the upper end for drinks. But when you're used to weatherspoons prices, it's always hard to compare when you do go local.

A nice pub, I only marked it a three because they don't do any real ale on the three hand pumps. Bottled real ale is available though. Large beer garden with views over river.

Lovely old worldy pub which must go back to the times when gentry and wealthy business men would draw up in a horse and cart from London and stay for the night before setting off next day to Canterbury and beyond . A blessing to be able to sample the vibes of years gone by in such a quaint village on the banks of the Thames . That said , the food and drinks available make the experience all the more pleasant at a very reasonable price with cheerful staff to top it all off

I was waiting to be served for at least 10 or 15 minutes . Fair enough it was busy . But when it came to my turn to be served she was more concerned about glasses . So ok waited a bit longer still didn't serve me . Lol glasses was much more important . We been customers for years . Our regular . We walked out . Christmas eve . Merry Christmas lol

Best pub in the South East of England

Probably the best Gem of pub in kent . Fantastic character pub, with breath taking views over the River Thames, very reasonably priced. Fantastic food menu, and the Best landlord & landlady in (Gary and Alison ) Halloween night was amazing as usual. Many thanks .Jazz & er indoors she loved it.

Nice bottle of beer, quite cozy and the best of it is that it’s right in the neighborhood. Don’t expect to chat with anyone over a beer or a football match though if you can’t speak English from your nose

One of the cleanest and well looked after puds I've been to in a long while. Pleasant atmosphere. It would be a bonus to see salad put on your menu.

Oldy worldy pub nice atmosphere nice staff

We visited this pub for dinner and was part of the night crowd that arrived later. I noticed the guy behind the bar was very drunk which was funny at first but then we watched him stay bullying his customers and even barred one bloke embarrassing him in front of everyone. I've since heard that this was the landlord and he has barred over 100 people in the last 5 years! I did wonder because it seems a lot emptier when i drive past. I think The Sir John Franklyn Private W*****s Club is a more accurate description. Shame, my dad and granddad drank in this pub so hopefully the twatty owner can move on and give the community it's pub back!!!!

Came here for a few beers one Friday night, it an old fashioned pub with plenty of character and a decent seating area outside. The drink prices are reasonable and it’s always easy to get a drink. Worth a visit if you fancy some nice beers by the river

Not a bad pub. Atmosphere isnt the best and some of the staff are abit moody. More of an old mans pub id say. But still do a cracking pint none the less.

Just moved to the area and finally got to try the local pubs. Really liked this one, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Lovely beer garden overlooking the River. They had a decent selection of drinks though most on tap were fairly mainstream (Stella, guiness, etc) there were other taps for guest ales though it looks like they aren't available at the moment (potentially due to covid).

I went here with my girlfriend and another family member and it was lovely, service was great and the atmosphere was amazing too, I will definitely be coming here again and the drink selection was great, I'm a big fan of gin and they had many gins to tickle my fancy, me and the missus both drink gin and the other family member had a beer clearly he's the alpha

Vile owner Vile bar staff I was made to feel so unwelcome the moment I stepped in the pub, owner and bar staff have disgusting attitudes, absolute pigs. Genuinely feel upset about my whole experience, I left after one drink as I didn't want to give him my money.

Unfriendly dirty. Feet stick to the floor with filth. Food ok if you like Asda frozen food. Dirty glasses. Would definitely not recommend it. Language disgusting. Dont take your mum there.

Riverside pub. Stopping off point on cycle ride. It was alright.

Pool table. Darts. Sky sports. Karoake. Good views. Should be a good pub, but is not. Some punters who frequent here might want actually to call Frank.

Lovely pub. Very original and lovely scenery. Can't fault the pub in itself but the one barmaid at the time was incredibly rude. I asked for a bottle of Terre di Giulio and was told to wait 2 minutes for it to arrive. 6minutes and 37seconds later my champagne arrived. I asked the wench, whom I believe to be called Rackell or maybe Rockelle, for an ice bucket and was told to go and penetrate myself in the back passage! Lovely pub but the one barmaid ruined my Sunday session and made the day not worth skipping church on the Sabbath!

We used to pop in often for a quick drink after work or out for a walk. We've not bothered for some time now as the landlord are such faceaches. People in the pub business should be welcoming, friendly and helpful - this husband and wife team are the opposite. The husband seems to be the worse of the two, preferring to be customer side of the bar or pouring himself drinks than his customers. Very strange business...

Came here for a few beers one Saturday night with the lads. The pub is quite small inside but it has a nice local feel to it. There’s plenty of beers to choose from and there’s a decent pool table and a few fruit machines scattered about. It’s a nice decent little pub

Ordered a pint guiness and small coke £6, sat down started to drink it and glass was filthy with lip stick on it, and coke glass looked like it needed washing.

Great old pub with a history near London. The drive from london just 30 minutes. All kind of beer wine and ale. Staff is very friendly and cordially. The pub old collection of mugs, glasses and utensils is its feature. It is on bank of river and outside sitting is there to enjoy all the days. Good arrangement to watch sports. Games playing arrangements. Accept cash and cards.

We stopped off for a drink while in the area having a look round. The bar staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. There had a great selection of drinks. We went on to the terrace behind the pub which had great views of the river Thames.

Friendly staff nice place to chill out for an hour or two

The pub itself is nicely decorated with a patio that looks out to the river. The bar staff are polite and pleasant however the landlord completely lets the pub down! He is extremely rude and disrespectful to customers. He has absolutely no people skills and is so busy trying to be one of the lads in the bar he forgets the importance of ALL of his customers. This should be an environment that everyone can enjoy but unfortunately this man is discriminatory and unkind. It was a real disappointment we certainly won’t be returning.

This pub clearly caters to its regulars. Real ale unfortunately isn't a big deal in Dartford areas. The pub did have London Pride I must admit it certainly was far from the best pint of it I ever had. The view in the beer garden is quite nice. But the furniture could do with being replaced. Maybe I'm picky. Also the pub appears to do food but not a single menu was in sight. The bull on London road is a much inviting pub and too far either. If you fancy splashing the cash go to The Wharf which is a shepherd's naeme pub. Very nice.

It's a pub for men !! I was uncomfortable with every other man ffing and blinding as if it's normal language ! We've drunk in this pub over 40 years and love it but it was too much and we left after one drink.

Lovely old pub in the centre of Greenhithe, friendly staff, lovely food at a very reasonable price and a nice seating area out the back over looking Thames. I would definitely recommend stopping off here for a quick drink or two.
