Great cosy place with a garden, no food though

I love this place the service the gorgeous chocolate but please replace the metal noisey chairs they’re cheap and horrid and don’t reflect the rest of the place. Please replace them and this would be 5 stars

Great pub for Sunday roast dinner, the food definitely exceeded expectations as it is quite dated and rundown inside so first impressions weren’t great. However the food was brilliant, I had prawn cocktail for starter and roast chicken for main, everything was really flavoursome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. There is no parking at the actual pub but a free car park a few minutes walk away.

The girl who took my order was really moody and didn’t want to be there, then a server/manager was really abrasive. The food was really good tho!

Myself and my boyfriend go to this cafe all the time on weekends. They never disappoint every-time we go, food is delicious, affordable and the family who runs it are lovely, down to earth and honest people. Will always be my favourite cafe. Thanks guys!

Good friendly atmosphere, no cask ale, which is better than a poorly kept cask ale.

Came here for breakfast one Saturday with friends. The cafe was quite busy but we managed to find a table. We was served by the flamboyant Ali (I take it he was Ali), and he was a great laugh. The food was nice enough, there was no complaints and the prices were relatively cheap, so can’t complain.

Very crowded. Staff seemed overwhelmed.

Great food and place. Max the owner was warm, social, friendly and animated... not to be confused with leering or overstepping in my experience or opinion as another visitor stated. We enjoyed his company and will be back! Highly recommend and all the best to Max and the team.

After a bit of a booking mix up because nobody contacted me, we were fitted in. The roast pork and crackling was served with superb parsnips raastie, Yoshire, stuffing, chipolatas, copious terrific cauli cheese, peas, broccoli and carrots. Everything was perfect, pork so tender, and loads of rich gravy. We didn't have to wait long, and the price was very reasonable for such a plateful. Desserts were just as lovely, can only speak for the berry roulade and lemon meringue. Both delicious. Definitely returning, maybe fis Friday next time. Very enjoyable.

Food ok had lunch staff very good but will not be returning as I don't want to eat in an area where people have dogs with them not a hygienic. They need an area away from the restaurant and people eating.

I went with a group of friends, the food was not great and the venue just doesn’t have an atmosphere.

I visited Dartford by train and decided to visit Esquires Coffee House and let me tell you, it was a 10 out of 10 experience. I ordered vegan sausage roll, almond cappuccino and chocolate brownie. I am definitely going to go back for the delicious food and coffee and the professional service.
