I came in yesterday (1/12/24) for a booking at 5pm to have some leaving drinks with my work group. Holly was an absolute star behind the bar, incredibly attentive and made my evening! I would highly recommend the Oculist to anyone looking to celebrate with their friends, or even to have a solo drink :) 10/10 experience

Stumbled across this lovely little place wandering around Brighton after the gym and looking for breakfast. Attached to ‘My hotel’ in jubilee street this cafe has a modern relaxing vibe and soothing buzz about it. Set apart from other cafes I’ve visited in the city this place offers a unique menu, all freshly prepared with exceptional friendly and welcoming service. Perfect for a Sunday breakfast and chill out. It was also featured in an episode of itvs ‘Grace’ which is why I recognised it once I was sat enjoying my meal. Well worth a visit. 🤩

This Costa unit is located in the lobby of the cinema "Odeon" has a wonderful view of the embankment. It was a rather gloomy, rainy and unwelcoming morning on 22nd August 2024, but a coffee from a nice red-haired barista at Costa Coffee changed my day for the better. Thank you.

Precios absolutos de broma. Vivir en Brighton No soy ingenuo cuando se trata del precio de las cosas, pero £ 7. 45 por una pinta de bang promedio IPA (Siren) está tomando la proverbial orina. No es de extrañar que el pub esté vacío. Me doy cuenta de que el bistec ha subido 4 libras. 50 virtualmente durante la noche. Una vez que un buen pub, necesita un refresco la decoración se ve cansado y la cerveza Dark star bombea en la pared cuando ya no se sirve no tiene sentido. Dormirse en los laureles necesita nuevas ideas.

Popped in here very early this morning before my Waitrose shop. The trainee barista made an excellent decaff soya cappuccino and the place had a really chill vibe - not too busy, not too quiet, and relaxing music too.

We wanted a drink before going for dinner and spotted this sunny terrace overlooking the sea, it did the job with a decent glass of wine.

Great views of the beach but tables filthy and the croissants are stale. Dirty cups and plates everywhere

We recently enjoyed a fantastic family roast at the railway and I have got to say it was superb. The roast was delicious, I had the beef and would highly recommend. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to our next visit 🥳 thank you Railway

Sandwiches and drinks quite nice but tables dirty, thick dust/dirt on skirting boards and ledges. Floor filthy. As it was busy and I didn't want to queue up again, I cleaned table myself with handgel and paper serviettes. I stopped going in any Cafe Nero shortly after pandemic as noticed that, as a chain, they weren't great at cleaning. Regret my decision to go in the Brighton one today.
