Lovely place, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and excellent food and drink! Quite reasonably priced too.

The staff here are excellent. Professional, friendly and attentive, really good to experience. But the food was a really lovely surprise. I wasn't sure what to expect from a chain but we ate delicious lighly fried squid ( if it was frozen it certainly tasted fresh), pork meatballs in a tasty tomato basil sauce and for the mains a lasagne ( ok and a large portion), cannelloni with spinach, nice, spaghetti with king prawns, nicely spiced but the star of the show was the excellent ravioli with crab and lobster in a creamy sauce with basil oi. Delicious. I will come back here definitely

My husband and I went to this restaurant last night. The waitress at 6 PM. on 30th October was shoc kingly disgraceful. Hopefully, the manager will investigate this. Firstly, she rushed us to choose our table in quite an impolite manner. Secondly, in Italian restaurants, the staff should know about authentic Italian food. If the staff are Italians, they always know that you can always request Spaghetti aglio e olio, even if it's not on the menu, because it's simply spaghetti with olive oil! However, we were not expecting them to do it for us, we were merely curious to know if they could do the dish, that's all!!! We were entitled to ask questions before ordering our meals! but the disgraceful waitress not only was not trained about the Italian cuisine but was extremely dis graceful. She responded to my request with an aggressive "Huh?" After I repeated the name of the dish, she left our table while raising her voice, telling us something like " we should stick to the menue only. " She could say that in a graceful manner, thete was no need t9 be but impolite and disgraceful. Both my husband and I were shocked at the behaviour displayed. Having said that, we are thankful to the disgraceful waitress because, as a result of the demeanour exhibited, we left the restaurant and found an authentic Italian restaurant across the street with authentic Italian food and drinks, as well as courteous, attentive staff who are indeed trained about the Italian cuisine. I enjoyed my lovely Spaghetti aglio e olio there.

Visited 30 Oct at 7pm. The maitre’d on reception podium offered no warm welcome or smile. She was also our waitress for the evening. Definitely in the wrong job! It’s called hospitality for a reason. Her manner and attitude was cold unfriendly and miserable. She was even rather off hand at times. The food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Such a shame. Your staff are representing your Brand and that dark haired lady does you no favours! Needs some training in customer service. Needless to say she didn’t get a tip £. My tip for her is improve your customer care and make the customer experience positive and memorable for the right reasons.

Uncooked food , I don’t think the chef does know how to cook . Very very bad food. Please do not go.

We came here as a group of 39. Having sent our order in advance, getting each course was smooth with everyone getting their food at the right time. The staff made sure we were well looked after throughout our staff. Even though we were a large table. Thank you.

When you take your12yr granddaughter for tea and there is 14 chilli's in her food , it's was absolutely disgusting, never again will we be going there

Sandra and the team were very friendly and efficient when dealing with an issue with one of our orders. The pasta dishes are good quality and the variety is good. The orange cheese cake, however, is a bit dry and lacking flavour.

Fab experience here! As students we were excited about the discount they offer (20% off) but worried that we would look cheap 😬 Dado our server gave us wonderful service and a kind attitude. Highly recommend

Had a lovely meal here staff so lovely and really nice atmosphere as lots of birthdays going on. Loved watching chef make pizza in the amazing pizza oven. I had chicken mushroom roasted garlic rigatoni and mixed salad. Also google vouchers for here and had 25% off food

The food was ok but very very poor value for money. For nine pound that gave us four very small pieces of cheese- and the dessert was outrageously small. If you want to charge the prices, make it worth it

You might want to steer clear of Prezzo. The food is outrageously overpriced for what you get, and the service is abysmal. While a few staff members are trying to do their jobs, the managers are clearly more interested in chatting away and stuffing their faces than actually doing something productive. It’s baffling how someone with such a lackadaisical attitude can hold a managerial position. It took an eternity to get the bill, far longer than it took to be served and finish our meal. The atmosphere was dull and uninspired, and the menu was incredibly limited. Overall, it’s a complete letdown and not worth your time or money.

Went on speck for a brunch, ordered drinks which were okay but not much choice, then ordered food but were told no - wanted to just order 2 kids meals as we only wanted a smaller portion and weren’t keen on ricotta, mushrooms and tomatoes in the adults and not much price difference, so would have been a kids meal after everything was taken out due to allergies! Very disappointed and not good customer service she told us to just wait a min. Was in the full sun and the umbrella was ‘broken’ didn’t resolve the issue so finished drinks and left as quick as we could, so disappointed and such awful service!

Despite the restaurant being packed, we were impressed by the swift service. Taking advantage of the three-course deal, we enjoyed food that met Pizza Express' usual high standards.

We were visiting Brighton and Eastbourne for an anniversary weekend. We had a Red Letter day voucher from a gift we were given and whilst the menu is limited for this offer, the food was nice and the staff and service were amazing. They were polite, friendly and very helpful when required. The locations is lovely on the marina and parking is free for up to 4 hours nearby.

I had the artichoke salad as starter, followed by the Alfredo chicken pasta. Finished with the orange cheesecake. 5 stars for this restaurant.

Visited on a Saturday Afternoon, only 4 tables with people on them and still service was slow. Food was very disappointing and flavourless, makes you regret spending the money. Staff were friendly however skipped over our table several times when we had all been finished and eagerly awaiting a bill. I’d avoid unless future reviews show major improvement.

Can’t comment on this restaurants food. All I can say is that on Thursday I had a call asking me to change my reservation to an earlier slot so that the staff could watch the football. The lady suggested 6.30pm, to which I agreed. Well we have our reservation for today and I have just had a call to say that they are closing even earlier and could I come even earlier?! The football is not on til 8pm (and not everyone is a bloody fan!) so I was left with no choice but to cancel our meal tonight.

Hi we have been here many times before and really enjoyed it. This time seemed different. My Vegetarian salad was small and quite tasteless and the dressing on the other salads was too much and spoilt the taste and drowned the salads. A positive was the staff were very lovely. We didn't complain but on reflection we should have.

My partner and I attended for very early dinner on a Friday. I am pleased to report that the food turned out to be very tasty, and the pasta was al dente, as it should be. I really want this restaurant to stay open. However, I feel that it is unlikely to do so unless they do something to improve service levels. When we arrived, the front of house did not bother to show us to a table, she coolly handed us menus and told us to sit wherever we liked. Still, that's one up on the time we went when the front of house just threw the menus on the table. We did not have to wait too long to place our order but when we finished our main course, we were just left there. No-one had asked us if we enjoyed our food. After waiting nearly 25 minutes for our plates to be cleared, and seeing three members of staff chatting and laughing by the bar, I had to wave and call out until someone acknowledged us. Our original server had left, but clearly there had been no handover. I complained to the server who came over. He said a quick sorry but there was no offer of a free coffee as compensation. We usually tip at least 10% but on this occasion we left no gratuity. This isn't the first time we have been disappointed by the service. A far less casual approach to service management and better staff training could have made a big difference.

Having been to this restaurant before and it been ok , today was just appalling The food was shocking and inedible and the kitchen should have been ashamed for what they served , It was abismal To call it a restaurant is misguidance , so so bad

I decided to have the chicken which was dry, tough & tasteless. Goodness knows how old the potato was or if it was even a real potato - it certainly hadnt been snuggling in the ground for many months, & the gravy tasted exactly like over salty bistos. The only thing that rescued the meal was the cabbage! To be fair however my husbamds sausages were good & service very reasonable. And the serving girl was very very sweet. Its a shame though as we used to dine regularly at Prezzos but the menu has changed & overall i felt it had gone down hill in terms of food quality. We wont be back for a long time.

My friend had 25% off at prezzo and it was her birthday, we got a free bottle of Prosecco, so it was quite value for the night, the food was okay and average as a mid range restaurant. Some waitresses seem to be friendly and offered good service, so overall it was good.

All 4 of us had a great meal there. Our every Wim catered for. Friendly helpful staff, clean all round. Great quality food at a good price.

Visited 9pm on a Friday night, no reservation, with a group of 8. Plenty of tables available and the service was superb! All of our meals were delicious and the staff couldn’t have been any better. The atmosphere was perfect: not too noisy, good vibes and a nice setting.

A definite sense of shrinkflation if you order anything but a pizza. Service was painfully slow so much so the people on the next table got so fed up and left before they ordered..

We came without any reservation and the staff was really lovely. Dishes were well served and taste was great. Totally recommended.

Went there with my wife as she likes their arrabiata. Starter nice garlic bread and good coffee but the pizza was probably the worst I have ever had. Very little sauce, no flavour to what sauce there was, tons of cheese (making it greasy) and under cooked. Won’t be going there again.

Staff were friendly, but let down by the food. Small pizza with little flavour and a spaghetti bolognese with too much pasta and far too little meat sauce.

Not a bad cafe, although we were warned that we would have to wait a long time for our order, everything was very fast and tasty. Of all the things we ordered, the only thing we didn't like was the salad. The service is excellent.

Staff were excellent including our waiter Amer. Friendly service. I had garlic bread, calamari and king prawn spaghetti. Slight issue with the spaghetti, they forgot to put the prawns in but this was resoved quickly. When it did arrive it was very good. Used my Tastecard with no issues so really happy with the price too. I will visit again.

This place is great for a magnificent pizza. They are freshly made every time and always taste just as good. Their desserts are also amazing. The menu has options for everyone making it the perfect place for all types of families to go.

Awful service. Nobody approached us we ve been waiting for a waiter 30 minutes, and restaraunt was not even full. I don't recommend this place at all. Awful service again !!!!!

After wandering around the Marina where many restaurants were closed, some looking permanently closed. We ate at Prezzo. Service was good, my husband’s Lasagne was piping hot my Crab and Lobster Ravioli was lukewarm. I informed our waitress and was delivered a piping hot new plate of delicious Crab and Lobster Ravioli. Would be 5 star apart from the mishap. Garlic bread to share was also delicious.

Good service but we received our starters before our drinks which we felt was a bit odd. The food was ok but nothing to rave about. Also, the prices have increased significantly which made the food slightly not worth the cost.

We booked a table online for two, get there 30minutes early, and been accommodated right away. Ordered our food show them the voucher we received from the email for free drinks. But we still order our choosen drinks which is a bottle of red wine. Had our starter , it was good, 30 minutes lates our main came, a carbonara with al forno and a beef burger. We are happy our food was good, so we decided to try their pepperoni pizza, it was okey but not the pizza you wanna try again. And we had sticky pudding and cheesecake for our dessert. It was okey.And to add the dining experience, we didn’t received a free drinks as what we expect about the voucher which we handed to the member, and to our receipt it says walk in as we booked our table beforehand. Over all the main thing really i enjoyed my carbonara and my husband enjoyed his beef burger. In addition maybe next time try to clean table , because our table feels sticky and dumb.

Not the best meal we’ve had at prezzo but wasnt awful. Manageress seemed moody , offered parmesan but seemed miffed when we said yes. Pizza and pasta were good. Had a really nice peach mocktail. The best ever chocolate cake was awful, more of a really dry torte that i forced down. They had no vanilla icecream so limited dessert options. Our server was abit too chill tbh. Asked if we wanted dessert menus and he forgot ‘yeah i forgot guys i wont lie’ l, honest i suppose but his vibe was very unbothered.

Proper pizza!! I had to compliment chef Bence. Warming and friendly service from Amer who was our waiter. Quick and efficient service will definitely be coming back!

Food was good but a little upset that the vegan pizzas all were fake meat. No fully veggie vegan option as the veggie pizza had buttered mushrooms :(

Unsure if it was just too quiet but couldn’t hear any music when we visited if it was louder/ on I think it would have added a bit of ambiance. However our server Amer was very friendly and efficient and they and another team member sung happy birthday with the dessert for my friend which was very nice of them. Couldn't fault the staff and they have a blue light discount. My pasta dish however was pretty disappointing, very bland and small portion. They do kids meals free but they were so small my 7 year old wanted dinner when we got home. I wouldn't bother again, there's too much other places to choose from

Expensive for a chain restaurant and for pasta especially when in competition with 2 other Italians next door to it. The service was great though. The buildings interior feels tired and in need of a revamp. Window seats have a great view but get very warm if sunny with lack of Air conditioning or blinds that decline far enough.

Well to begin with the tables are not even clean. Prezzo on the website the food looks appetising and very good. However this is not the case. I ordered lasagne price £17.95 it turns up in a white burnt oval dish the lasagne is floating in what looks like a gravy. I asked the waitress does it always look like this she was apologetic she even said she would send it back. So instead I asked for the spinach cannelloni. It came again in a burnt white dish presentation none. Probably because I had complained was boiling and equally not very good. We were not charged for it. Would never go back was overpriced and they need too employ someone that can cook 🍳

Nice atmosphere in a great location, staff were polite and food was decent. Olsa took our table and was very attentive and friendly! Decent price and just a nice meal.

Tasty but Prawn and peas risotto was more like a soup and very small portion. I was still hungry after eating it. Very disappointing for the price paid for it.

We ate hear today for my granddaughters 7th birthday. On arrival we were seated, and given menus. Then the server disappeared. 10 minutes later she appeared and took are drinks order( over priced) drinks arrived. Took food order, then waited over 35 minutes for food to arrive ( wouldn't of minded if it was busy) Food was nice, but expensive for a bowl of pasta, and £18 for a burger and a small bowl of fries. Took ages for the server to clear the table. Staff were few and far between. The manager on duty needs to be more friendly, or approachable. When we asked for the bill she rolled her eyes, came back with the bill and literally threw it on the table we reminded her we had a voucher, to which she replied " well you should of said earlier " as she wasn't our original server we explained that our server had vanished. Food nice Service awful. We didn't pay the service charge, as service was terrible,

Should be renamed to Prezzno. £4.25 for a regular can of coke. Loads of cheap toppings mushroom and onion, wafer thin ham that you can't even taste. Then it costs you £20. At least Robin hood wore a mask. Saving grace was the service. Use to be my favourite restaurant, but I'm done now. Never again adiós.

Visited on a Tuesday evening. It was fairly busy but there were some empty tables. Staff were not attentive, I had to ask twice for a drink and had to ask for the bill after sitting for 20 minutes after finishing our meal. Food was mediocre and overpriced for what it was.

I took my 2 teenagers and my parents to Prezzo at Brighton Marina for lunch. The food (2 pizzas, 2 pasta dishes and a fish dish was very good and plentiful. The service was friendly and prompt with all food arriving together. The restaurant wasn't that busy to be fair for a lunchtime. Service at customers discretion unless group is bigger than 7 people. Would go again.

We booked in advance and came to the door where we were greeted with a very miserable waitress who showed us to our table, she practically threw the menus onto the table, didn’t say a word so had no idea if it was table service or self service. Great start… We were quickly seen to for a food order where we ordered everything. The food came out within a matter of minutes. (I had the lasagne and my friend had the carbonara) The lasagne was small, didn’t come with salad or garlic bread (it was £17.50) it was ok, nothing to write home about, the edges were burnt and honestly i’ve had microwave lasagnes better than that. My friends carbonara was bland and lacking sauce, the ham was rubbery (it was £16.50) It’s a shame as all previous experiences with this branch have been positive. While eating our meals nobody came over to check if everything was ok. Service seemed rushed even though is was quiet. I would not recommend this restaurant from my experience.

Probably one of the best franchised restaurants out there. The food is good, the service here is particularly good, if not great. Staff are friendly, efficient and know their menu. Always a dependable option.

We went to Prezzo in Brighton yesterday. The food and dessert was very nice and the customer service was of the highest quality. We were served by Ilona who was very knowledgeable, helpful and polite. I have no hesitation in recommending Prezzo to anyone living or staying in Brighton.

We ordered the carbonara with chicken, none included

Initially we were reluctant to visit, as there were a lot of mixed reviews. However, we thought we would take the risk and discover for ourselves. The staff were very helpful and we were served immediately, the food waiting time was reasonable. The food itself was really yummy and arrived feeling and tasting fresh as well. The atmosphere was spectacular, the restaurant is well taken care off. If you intend to go but the reviews are putting you off, I recommend you go try it yourself.

Wandering around the marina and decided to pop in for dinner didn't need a reservation, as there was seating available. The staff were friendly and helpful. The service was prompt, and the food was great. Starting with the antipasto sharing platters and also the flat bread garlic with cheese, all beautiful layed out and also very tasty. Then, I moved on to the mains i had the pasta with spicy tomato sauce (penne arrabbiata) and mozzarella topping you get a choice of this or with chicken again very tasty and a slight kick to it and to finish of i had the tiramisu good portion and very tasty over all very happy with the dinner most definitely going back

First time at this restaurant and will be the last. I chose the most expensive pasta dish. Crab & lobster ravioli. I was so disappointed, no flavour or taste of crab or lobster, 8 raviolis very dry and chewy. Not worth even half the price.

We were so glad to see that this prezzo was still open , as the ones in Eastbourne and hailsham have closed . We had a lovely meal and a delightful peach Bellini . Lovely restaurant and in a great location . The service was good .

Awful customer service, booked a table outside in Friday evening for my birthday on Saturday 27 May, 2 hours prior to reservation I receive a text to say I couldn’t have a table outside! Please update your website and stop taking reservations outside if you can’t fulfil this agreement as per my confirmation ! Tried to call , no one interested or willing to try and help given it was a birthday lunch! Decided to find elsewhere in the Marina, I will not eat in Prezzo again!

Prezzo in Horsham shut, and I think for the same reason I am adding this review. This restaurant offers the discriminative practise of being cashless. 42% of disabled people have no card. 29% can't use their card independently. 20% of elderly use cash daily. All homeless use cash. Majority of kids use cash. Appalled. We are the customers, we decide how to pay.

Very slow service. It wasn’t that busy and it still took me having to go and find someone after waiting 15 mins to order food before someone appeared and then we had to go find someone so we could pay the bill at the end after waiting ten minutes to pay. The food was okay and when we actually got service it was good but I would hate to see them on a busy day if they struggle when it’s not busy to serve people.

Kids garlic bread and pizza tiny and burnt Macaroni cheese (nice) but seriously over priced. Salad soggy. The staff were extremely grumpy except one. One staff member was verging on rude. When I mentioned issues they were dismissed. You could get a far better meal elsewhere. Shame.

Tried to get a table but we were turned away by the manager at 19:15 due to being "fully booked" when almost half of tables were free. We then booked online for a later time slot of 19:45 when we returned we were given a hostile look, I smiled and said hello we have a booking, to which she replied that is not how it works and reluctantly showed us to your table. The reason for two stars is because the other waiters/waitresses were very professional and the food was very nice!

Saw the news of site closures on 24 April and all I can sayis I feel sorry for much odf the staff at risk of job loss. Prezzo was once a restaurant I exitedly looked forward to dining in when ever I excursioned or just wanted agreat dining experience. Sadly your dishes have somewhat declined from their great historical offerings;I draw reference to the truly disgusting salmon pizza ;poorly presented and extremely awful to the tasteis I wrote of previously (this wss an awful waste of grst salmon). Aside from the initial contact for more info no reply was received..I used another account at time to describe my unfortunate experience (the lady who attended to me was very good). I GENUINELY am dismayed Prezzo is having to close sites, but one cannot separate failure to act on customer feedback, with decline; we'll vote with our, feet. The only seemilyng bitter, pill advice I can now offer as a sincere but former customer of Prezzo is to carefully study the business model /strategy of Pizza Express, extracting its more rcommon sense parts and ditch some of the very awful plates which have now sadly made a once great Prezzo, just not worth the money :(. It remains my hope Prezzo can yet recover some of its lost allure which once made a cut above other dining establishments.

Perhaps being one of the only food outlets still open down the Marina, Prezzos just don’t care. After waiting 20 minutes, still being offered no drink or food, and a table being served before us/ despite arriving after, we had to abandon and move next door to Pizza Express. What a contrast, seated and order taken within minutes, now enjoying a drink and food on its way. With cinema tickets booked, we’ll make the film after all and with full tummies.

After booking online we tried calling as wanted to check a couple of things, tried three times, at different times, no one answered. Arrived at the restaurant to find the place all but two tables empty. Walked in and was told to 'wait a sec'. A couple of minutes later was seated by another lady that was clearly having a bad bad, barely spoke and was rude. Ordered drinks and food, totally over priced pizza. One pizza had 6 slices of pepperoni and not much else over £17! Ordered a Pepsi which was given to us in the unopened can - £4.00. There was literally no one in the restaurant and you can clearly see why, we paid the bill and was ignored when leaving, There are loads of other places, I certainly would not recommend this one.

Very overpriced for the quality. Used 2for1 voucher, which made the price more reasonable. Lack of soft drinks (except juice) without artificial sweetener. Kids chicken burger very dry. Would not return.

Sorry to say: mass-production and nearly no emotion. In other word: the food not realy bad, but on the other hand also nothing special. The interior doesn't gave us a Italian feeling, and the service and presentation of the dishes has been nearly without emotions.

We went for a family lunch and was greeted by the friendliest host. We ordered a lot we were hungry and thirsty, our starter was delicious. My husband and sons mains were served and I was given my side of a mixed salad, and ordered the lobster and crab ravioli. I was left waiting for my main and had to ask two servers for the dish. It arrived swimming in oil and the pasta was raw. The pizzas were glorious and I'm a little bit annoyed that we were happy to have drinks and dessert but after that we decided to go elsewhere!
