Shame about the scaffolding covering the frontage

Disappointing. We came here for dinner but the service and food was just disappointing. Food- the food was very middle of the road. I know that Prezzo is middle of the road but with how expensive it’s getting (almost a hundred for 2 starters 2 mains and a kids meal) I’d expect better food. The pizza was nice but the centre to mid area was very soggy and wet. The burger was cremated. The starters were quite nice I really enjoyed the Prawn starter I like that. Service- the service was again, unfortunately lacklustre. The place was basically empty yet we still had multiple times where we asked for something and it was forgotten or took an unreasonable time to arrive like dips for example. Again, the place was empty, it would have been more reasonable if it was busy. Atmosphere- it looks good inside it does seem a bit dark but there is scaffolding out front so I’m unwilling to confirm if that is how it is without all that out front. The inside does look good even if it does need a bit of a deep clean. Overall- it was a shame, I think it’s a worse version of what the competition offers like Pizza Express etc. It’s sort of like Pizza Hut. It does what the competition does but worse. There really isn’t much reason why you would want to go here rather than another place. It feels like it’s another way of the Dodo restaurant chain that will continue to operate steamrolling into a brand left behind compared to the competition. It’s a shame. Addendum- the problem wasn’t the staff, those were very small irritations. The big problem here is that the place is expensive and food is not great. The problem is the far better and cheaper alternatives. Hopefully it can improve and offer something unique to give reason to go there.

MY wife and I as a last minute decision visited Prezzo's at Brighton Marina on Sunday May 4th although the restaurant was fairly quiet we did have to wait a few minutes to be seated but once seated the service was good. The food was excellent. IT had a been a while since our last visit but we will not leave it as long until our next visit.

The Prosecco deal for 99p per glass was such a treat and our food was delicious!

Great location, service, and staff. We had some pizza and pasta and found them a bit tasteless, especially for the price paid. I guess this was due to poor quality ingredients. I'm sure they can be improved easily as the pizza dough itself was great.

I used to go alot weekly then menu changed and not for better so less frequent now. Generally have some issue cremated my chicken and came out 10 mins after my son and he had finished the manager was great took off most the bill but eating out is a treat and for the money you pay should be great and this has just gone downhill.lately

We love Prezzo Brighton Marina, especially when there are special events like the 99p pizza ,pasta mega Monday.

Exceptional service with a smile, special thanks to ***Sandra*** who looked after us, nothing was too much trouble, other restaurants could learn so much from her and I’ve never seen a manager support his staff so efficiently helping with orders and helping me find my code on my phone!!! all staff were very attentive, and tables were cleared quickly, great flavoursome food.

We ate at Prezzo on Monday when the menu was 99p. The spaghetti bolognese was cooked to perfection. Pasta al dente as it should be with a lovely rich bolognese sauce. My husband had the spaghetti carbonara which was tasty too. Lovely atmosphere and staff.

Excellent food , very friendly staff at Prezzo Marina. Lovely Waitress Sandra was serving us . We will come back in near future.

It's Prezzo, it's never going to set the world on fire. But it's also not bad.

Lovely waiters, lovely food. My only tiny gripe is the fact we felt a bit rushed. We deliberately ordered our mains after receiving our starters, in the hope of having a bit of time between courses. We hadn't even finished our starters when the main courses arrived and suddenly plates were being whipped away! And even for a Saturday night the restaurant wasn't super busy, so no excuse really. Maybe just give customers time to enjoy the good food? However, on the plus side, it was my daughter's birthday and the staff all wished her happy birthday and she was given a complimentary slice of cake, so I can't fault them for their service.

Had a date night with the Hubby and we really enjoyed it. They did Bluelight as well which was nice of them on a Saturday night. The food was great, the service was great also and we had a really nice time. So thank you.

Cute restaurant with booth seating. The starters mushroom and Arancini were great. The pasta was a decent portion. The pizza however was lacking in toppings, hardly any cheese on it and the ends were dry. We asked for spinach on the pizza but were given rocket instead. The people sitting next to us arrived and ordered after us but got all their courses before us?

Food took 45 - 50 mins to arrive with no prior warning. Food was very expensive for non fine dining and mean portion sizes. I appreciate its Brighton Marina but felt very over priced eg: Single garlic bread with mozarella: £7. 4 small arancini balls: £9. Chicken burger with a thin and burnt filling: £17. When I asked about the £4 side order fries portion sizes (arrived cold) I was told yes they were small, but it was 'company policy', then the waiter brought another portion for free as he evidently felt bad. Asked waitress for bill, she said yes, but then just carried on setting tables. Overall an expensive, slow and unfriendly experience.

En lugar de manejar el asunto con comprensión o flexibilidad, fuimos amenazados con la participación de la policía. Nos dijeron que si no pagábamos con tarjeta, el personal se pondría en contacto con las autoridades. Este enfoque no sólo fue excesivo sino profundamente humillante. No nos negamos a pagar e hicimos repetidos esfuerzos para resolver la cuestión de manera razonable. Sólo después de mucho debate, el personal aceptó a regañadientes aceptar un pago en efectivo. Friendly and welcoming staff, great food and nice atmosphere

We went for dinner and we had a great experience. The food was really good and we were served quite fast. A big thank you also to Christian who took care of us from the beginning to the end, making our experience really special. Every restaurant should have someone like him who really knows how to welcome people and make them feel at home. Thank you very much, we'll definitely go back!

Came for a spot of lunch with my family, decent portions and surprisingly busy for a random weekday. We had the calamari and the baked spinach and ricotta cannelloni, lasagne and beef shin ravioli. Food was warm and exactly what you need after a cold day.

The food portion was small pasta overcook not worth the money.

Be warned you have a time limit here I could not believe it when I was told a party of 7 have 2 hours and if it’s only 2 you have an hour it’s rush rush so they can get another sitting in Spoilt our Mother’s Day shame as the food is really good but you are worried about time all the time

We were able to book a table last minute at Prezzo which we appreciated as it was Mother’s Day and we couldn’t be seated at another eatery nearby. We never eaten specially here before (always walked passed it) but we have eaten in a Prezzo many times in other towns and always enjoyed the meals that were served. The marina location was no different. Pleasant staff, a good atmosphere and the food came out quickly and our 3 courses were delicious. The set menu was a good choice of options and my Beef & Mash was superbly cooked with lots of flavour. I taster both the crab ravioli and beef lasagna and they were just as tasty also. Calamari was lovely and the deserts were suitable size for a set menu serving. Perhaps we won’t walk past this place as easily as before next time. We would be happy to eat there again.

We had a lovely Mother’s Day meal today at Prezzo. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, very attentive. The food was really good. My husband really enjoyed the slow cooked beef with mash, I had the crab and lobster ravioli in lobster bisque sauce, very tasty. We had calamari for starters, recommend it. 👌 Thank you for the lovely experience.

We were in Brighton for a weekend and visited Prezzo on the Saturday evening. Was a great atmosphere . Our Server Sandra was absolutely lovely. Warm, welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was very busy but she looked after us as though we were her only table. the food was delicious. Despite being busy, the staff managed to create a very relaxed atmosphere.. We will definitely visit again

Had an amazing experience at Prezzo. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. You can tell they put a lot of care into both their service and their dishes. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back!

What a fabulous evening of dining at the Prezzo Brighton Marina . We booked our table online it was very easy and straightforward. The restaurant has such a cosy and charming atmosphere. The open kitchen adds to the excitement, allowing you to watch chefs in action. Our waitress Sandra and Cristian were amazing, they recommended a delicious pasta dishes to us. Food was exceptional from starters to mains and because we loved the food and atmosphere, we decided to have a dessert as well. All staff very efficient and friendly with children,they offered our son crayons and kids menu with activities and included him in conversation, even gave him a balloon that made him to feel so special. We highly recommend this restaurant it has everything you need, staff welcoming and professional , lovely atmosphere, quality food and beautiful view of Marina. Definitely 5 star experience ! Thank you, we had a wonderful time.

My partner and I went for a 2 course meal, our starters were lovely, however my main didn’t come out as I expected, after our meal the manager (dado) intervened in a professional manor by resolving the issue and kindly gave us a voucher to return back to the restaurant, which my partner and I were delighted with, so we were very happy with the service so will be returning.

We have eaten here quite a lot over the years ,as it has had a nice vibe and the food has been good. Unfortunately our experience Sunday evening was dire ! It wasn't busy, so thought all will be well. We were made aware we couldn't order from the grill , no problem. Card payment only, again no problem. After our starter , 30 minutes later our mains arrived . No mention from the staff as to why it took so long. The Ravioli was just warm , and hard, and the peas uncooked. My partners Ravioli was also hard . Not even Al Dente. We didn't say anything as we just paid and left. Unfortunately we won't be rushing back anytime soon . Completely lacking atmosphere , looks unloved , what's happened 😢

Yesterday, my friends and I attended Prezzo for a birthday meal. Initally, I showed a voucher I had received for my birthday, I checked upon arrival this could be used, and we received confirmation from the manager. The food, that we did eat was great. When the bill came over, they had not used the voucher we was told we were entitled to used, and we had been told various things by various staff members, making our experience stressful. We then ordered some desserts, we had waited fourty minutes for the desserts we ordered, even reminding a waitress about it at one point. We never received those desserts, as a shift change occurred. Overall, the food that we did eat was amazing, but there was a poor lack of communication between staff members, and the customers.

The Blue Monday menu was an amazing deal! We were really pleased with the vegan options available and really enjoyed our food. The drinks were also delicious.

Normalmente vamos a Pizza Express para una comida tranquila antes del cine, sin embargo esta noche no pudimos conseguir una mesa, así que fuimos a Prezzo en su lugar. Fue una experiencia gastronómica maravillosa. Un montón de elección de la carta y un ambiente realmente frío. Nos atendió Olsa que era una delicia. Limpio, atractivo y conocedor del menú. La comida fue servida rápidamente y parecía y tenía un sabor increíble. Un pequeño problema con el proyecto de ley que pronto fue rectificado. Incluso les dejaré de lado el hecho de que se quedaron sin helado de vainilla. Gracias a todo el equipo por hacer de nuestra comida una experiencia tan placentera. Volveremos. Andrew y Jay

Su menú de 99 p Blue Monday nos tentó de nuevo para el almuerzo en Brighton Prezzo. Reservamos como parte de las condiciones. A la llegada pedimos una mesa de ventana, pero nos rechazaron y nos llevaron a la pared, donde aparentemente las parejas tenían que sentarse! El restaurante estaba medio lleno (si eso) y también había muchas mesas libres en el medio de la habitación. Así que un poco apagado que estábamos sentados muy cerca de otra pareja con poca o ninguna privacidad. Uno de nosotros tuvo que subir a una pared con pilares bloqueando cualquier vista a la izquierda o derecha. No es una gran experiencia! El menú era limitado. Ambos elegimos pizzas ya que la última vez que comimos aquí los platos de pasta eran demasiado salados. El servicio era bastante bueno, aunque el vaso de prosecco de 8 libras de mi esposa estaba medio lleno por alguna razón. Ambas pizzas eran muy sosas y carecían de una buena cobertura de queso. Probablemente valían 99 peniques. Los cubiertos eran tan contundentes que apenas podías cortar la masa. Estuvimos allí durante una hora y en ese período los números se adelgazaron bastante rápido. Tanto es así que todas las mesas de las ventanas estaban libres durante el tiempo que estuvimos allí! Si la reserva previa era un requisito previo, entonces la administración debe saber que estas mesas estaban disponibles cuando llegamos. No estoy impresionado, dudo que volvamos pronto!

Ordered Pizza, The base was nice but after a few minutes it was cold and the cheese was flat and white , so not in the oven long enough 😞

Sunday lunchtime- quite busy but very attentive service, quick delivery of food and drinks, hot tasty food - zero issues. Strongly recommend.

We order two Pizza’s for the kids which were great. Ordered a burger and pasta dish for my wife and I. The burger was swimming in grease and the chips weren’t cooked, the pasta dish was mushy and bland. We brought this up with the waitress who spoke to her manager, who gave us a free can of drink and still made us pay the full bill. There was hardly anyone in there and yet two doors up Pizza Express was full, says it all. The management seriously needs looking at.

Had the festive 2 course menu, the pancetta mac and cheese bites as a starter were delicious followed by chicken milanese which was perfectly cooked. Nice and quiet at lunch time with plenty of seating and attentive service.

Average food, tinned strawberries on sundae. Tired chicken with pasta Limited menu due to buyagift voucher (which was a whole other catalogue of issues). Not impressed.

Great place bur expensive for what is on offer

We visited the restaurant for dinner for 2 on Sunday night. Maybe because of the weather it was pretty quiet but it worked out great as we were able to choose much comfier table. There were some past negative reviews saying the food were undercooked or something, but calamari, king prawn pasta, and pinsa we ordered were piping hot and tasty, and they were good serving :) Staff were really pleasant and polite. I'd love to go there again!

The nduja was cold and uncooked. It looks like they forgot to put it on and then did it after the pizza was cooked as it was inedible. Also very tight with the other toppings.

The staff here are excellent. Professional, friendly and attentive, really good to experience. But the food was a really lovely surprise. I wasn't sure what to expect from a chain but we ate delicious lighly fried squid ( if it was frozen it certainly tasted fresh), pork meatballs in a tasty tomato basil sauce and for the mains a lasagne ( ok and a large portion), cannelloni with spinach, nice, spaghetti with king prawns, nicely spiced but the star of the show was the excellent ravioli with crab and lobster in a creamy sauce with basil oi. Delicious. I will come back here definitely

My husband and I went to this restaurant last night. The waitress at 6 PM. on 30th October was shoc kingly disgraceful. Hopefully, the manager will investigate this. Firstly, she rushed us to choose our table in quite an impolite manner. Secondly, in Italian restaurants, the staff should know about authentic Italian food. If the staff are Italians, they always know that you can always request Spaghetti aglio e olio, even if it's not on the menu, because it's simply spaghetti with olive oil! However, we were not expecting them to do it for us, we were merely curious to know if they could do the dish, that's all!!! We were entitled to ask questions before ordering our meals! but the disgraceful waitress not only was not trained about the Italian cuisine but was extremely dis graceful. She responded to my request with an aggressive "Huh?" After I repeated the name of the dish, she left our table while raising her voice, telling us something like " we should stick to the menue only. " She could say that in a graceful manner, thete was no need t9 be but impolite and disgraceful. Both my husband and I were shocked at the behaviour displayed. Having said that, we are thankful to the disgraceful waitress because, as a result of the demeanour exhibited, we left the restaurant and found an authentic Italian restaurant across the street with authentic Italian food and drinks, as well as courteous, attentive staff who are indeed trained about the Italian cuisine. I enjoyed my lovely Spaghetti aglio e olio there.

Visited 30 Oct at 7pm. The maitre’d on reception podium offered no warm welcome or smile. She was also our waitress for the evening. Definitely in the wrong job! It’s called hospitality for a reason. Her manner and attitude was cold unfriendly and miserable. She was even rather off hand at times. The food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Such a shame. Your staff are representing your Brand and that dark haired lady does you no favours! Needs some training in customer service. Needless to say she didn’t get a tip £. My tip for her is improve your customer care and make the customer experience positive and memorable for the right reasons.

When you take your12yr granddaughter for tea and there is 14 chilli's in her food , it's was absolutely disgusting, never again will we be going there

Sandra and the team were very friendly and efficient when dealing with an issue with one of our orders. The pasta dishes are good quality and the variety is good. The orange cheese cake, however, is a bit dry and lacking flavour.

Fab experience here! As students we were excited about the discount they offer (20% off) but worried that we would look cheap 😬 Dado our server gave us wonderful service and a kind attitude. Highly recommend

Had a lovely meal here staff so lovely and really nice atmosphere as lots of birthdays going on. Loved watching chef make pizza in the amazing pizza oven. I had chicken mushroom roasted garlic rigatoni and mixed salad. Also google vouchers for here and had 25% off food

Had a late lunch. Two courses and a glass of wine. Very enjoyable.
