Caffe Nero Brighton in Brighton and Hove

Great food. Their new egg fried rice is perfect 👌 I had it by itself and with chicken katsu. Portions are massive.

I love rice with chicken katsu and sweet chilli chicken. This time was the worst take away ever. Chicken Katsu taste like the chicken was off long time ago. I have not words to describe the taste. Super disgusting, horrible 🤢🤢🤮

All dishes are great. I have tried all of it, even the tofu that i was reluctant to try.

First time trying. Very nice sweet chilli chicken on rice was surprised at how much a regular size filled me up 👍 Bit hot inside was sweating like a pig

Must have a new cook and supplier. Food was absolutely terrible. Noodles were like super noodles. In fact they tasted like chicken super noodles but with only a quarter of the sachet powder. The Sweet chilli chicken was bland, there was no spice to it at all and the sauce was just oil. The chicken katsu was half decent but was Chewy like beef, over cooked and dry.

Needed a quick bite of lunch but was very disappointed. The staff were friendly enough and our sandwiches were OK, but the coffee was horrible - so bitter it was undrinkable. The tea wasn't much better - large mug, small teabag and too much milk. I wouldn't recommend the loo either except in dire emergency. It wasn't very clean and the lock didn't work. Can't recommend this place - better coffee shops are available elsewhere in the area.

It's a nice place for Asian street food.

Super slow service then gave me a meal that was 80% rice.

The dishes prepared are awesome in taste... V tried sweet and chilly chicken , also chicken teriyaki..both with noodles .. the quality and quantity was awesome .. taste very good ..

Good fresh food...Ordered sweet chilli chicken because Beef Bulgagi was not available a bit disappointed but enjoyed the food and the portion was big..hopefully will try something else next time.

Popped in for a quick drink (Western Road store) on the way back to the station. The actual sit down area looked like it needed a good clean (it had been a busy Brighton day), but I didn’t drink in so my review is more for the service. I can’t remember what the servers name was but was male & I visited at around 5.30pm on June 2nd, hopefully my praise can be passed to him? He made a really outstanding coffee and kindly added some more syrup for me. He was just a really pleasant man and despite it being a busy day he was still friendly and apologised for the wait. Thank you 😊 I’ve been really enjoying Cafe Nero recently and it’s people like this who make such a lovely atmosphere.

Ordered beef curry didn't realise how spicy it was they destroyed it with chiles I couldn't eat it so I won't be returning not recommended

These foods are not real Japanese they're just mimicking the taste and it was the worst Udon in my whole life.. I feel pitty that people here think this kinda food is Japanese and I'm angry with it even though I'm not Japanese

Massive portions and lovely tasting curry sauce, the chicken katsu is great. Adding a few complimentary pickles on the side of this dish would really improve it and make it more authentic at a small cost.

I'd seen 2 of their shops in Brighton Central, and sushi is a meal I'd never had before. I decided to get from there. They had a ready-made sushi box, and it contained like three types. The ingredients and info that it was made that day was there. Came with soy sauce and wasabi. Maybe because of the taste I'm used to. I enjoyed the sushi alone. My favourite was the one with egg roes. I didn't like the sushi with soy sauce, and I didn't try it with the wasabi. The pack was around 7 dollars. I dont eat a lot sp I didn't finish the box, but I felt fery full and satisfied.

Popped in for a coffee and a sandwich and regretted it immediately. The place was unclean, floors filthy, tables uncleared and sticky - felt unhygienic. Couldn’t wait to leave. Big fail Caffè Nero - where are your standards?

We had some time to kill in the afternoon so we stopped here for a rest. It was lovely. We ordered a tea and hot chocolate and found some comfy seats in the corner. Drinks were piping hot and delicious. Cafe was clean and tidy, service was prompt. Would visit again!

Need to get a drink befor Nero closed and my 5 year old wanted the toilet befor we went home. About 6.45 I was told they was already shut and also refused to let my child go to the loo... They should be open till 7 then close. Not good business and very unhelpful also so disappointed won't go back. I'll stick with Costa now.

The coffee was so bad I felt physically ill after. Apparently a trainee. Terrible selection of unhealthy food.

I am very fussy about coffee, but this is easily the best coffee shop chain, I had a cortado and a lovely muffin. Great service and good value.

Well done Caffe Nero for returning to real cups and plates to reduce waste and everything tastes nicer from porcelain/ china 👍😉 Lovely professional and friendly staff. I had a delicious soya hot chocolate tasty vegan raspberry croissant. More vegan sweet treats to choose from please!

The usual Caffe Nero fayre, slightly off the beaten path so to speak but well positioned for watching life go by.

On a shopping trip to Brighton we needed to stop for a cuppa and to rest our legs. The tea was served in a large mug and it was a nice strong teabag so perfect. The service from the counter was friendly enough. The location is convenient. That's about all the positives I can say, it felt like Nero have given up investing in their cafes, it was scruffy, grubby and not enough chairs. The one toilet is downstairs and that was really grubby - the whole place needs a good clean and some paint, horrible!

I visited the Western Road Caffe Nero to use an O2 priority voucher. I chose this branch because of it's very long opening times. I was quickly served at the counter and the drinks were of good quality. The cafe was clean and tidy, but was more cramped than most. At busy times, I may consider going elsewhere. However, I would definitely consider coming back.

It’s not the best coffee but they serve you quickly and in a friendly fashion. Their iced beverages are better than their hot ones in my opinion.

Have to say, I'm not a great fan of coffee shops where they are expensive and cramped but this branch of Caffe Nero serves great coffee, has some great female baristas and has a totally comfortable and relaxed feel. This view is obviously shared by many people in Brighton as you can see that it is their coffee shop of choice. A great place to meet people as well. The staff are efficient, friendly and happy to serve you. The coffee is always great ( I have a friend in the coffee trade and he ranks Caffe Nero coffee as the best ) and the relaxed atmosphere make it a great experience.

This Nero is located is a very convenient place, in the heart of The Laines and serves great coffee!

I think every one in Brighton knows it but for one who doesn't if you are looking for the black coffee this is the place beside if you are in a diet you can ordered skin latte 👍🏼 service is good . I always go to the one located in lain beach side.

Visited this place today , staff were not helpful at all service with a smile would have been nice , attitude when we asked where our sandwich was and then just slapped it in a bowl no knife or anything to cut it up 🙁

enjoy cafes, so this was a must, a little over priced I think and service was ok but not as high a standard as Pret cafes. Maybe take a leaf from them

El café es bueno y tiene sabor y profundidad y que incluye su mezcla descafeinada. Servicio amable. Pero... Las mesas no aclaró suficientemente rápido y nunca destruidos a menos que lo pidas. Decoración interior y sillas necesita algunas reparaciones. Y también la gente vaping dentro. Es suficientemente mala Teniendo que soportar humo colillas dentro y fuera debe ser un no, no.

This was a typical Caffe Nero. The coffee is always good, and the service friendly. On a Saturday afternoon it was very busy, so I suggest that you get there early

I used to drop in at this place on my way home , and I really like it. They have lovely hot chocolate and a good selection of coffees, also delicious cakes. What makes the real difference for me is the staff, this a friendly and welcoming place, I was always getting a smile and some kind words, no matter when I was popping in. The place itself is nothing special , it is an average-ish decorated / furnished cafe, it feels nice to spend some time here, anytime you are getting around.I defo recommend a visit in this cafe :)
