The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Regency Brighton and Hove South East

I went to the cafe today for lunch with my masters class which was a group size of 6. We ordered at the same time and was told likely be a 15-20 minuet wait and we went to see down. We understand it can take time for these things. However, 30 minuets go by and only 2 people have gotten their full English breakfasts and hot drinks. 15 mins go by and one more meal comes out. I went down to ask how much longer on the other meals and was told “soon” and that they didn’t actually have all the chips that ordered and had 2 refund 2 of 3 of the chips. This is after 45 minuets I remind you. Eventually one of us got a salad and cold oven cooked chips, leaving me and one other with no food. The final full English was told to us to be another 20 minuet wait so we had to refund it and get a sausage roll in replaced and was asked to pay the remainder which is fine but not something I would make someone do at the cafe I work at, especially waiting 45 mins and told it would be another 20mins. To top it all off, when I went down to ask if my salad could be put in a takeaway box as I have to go back to lecture, I was then told they lost the ticket and I would have to wait for another one. This is when I heard another customer say they felt bad as they ordered the same order after and got theirs first… I had to get a refund and this was after a whole hour of waiting. 45 mins to tell us they didn’t have what they ordered. 40 mins to tell us they had to start a new order for full English 1 hour to tell me they lost the ticket. I was given the reason to all of this was only one chef in the kitchen, on a Saturday any Laines worker will tell you that it is the busiest day of the week. I was given excuses not apologies. I understand bad things happen but this was appalling. Don’t go on weekends if you want service. That was my mistake.

What a delightful Friday afternoon treat! I popped in for a coffee, and stayed for the pancakes. Wonderful vibe, fabulous staff, excellent coffee and food! I will definitely be making this a regular haunt. Extra: a number of dishes can be made plant-based and/or gluten-free!

Hemskt. Urdålig service. Fick efter otroligt lång väntan fel beställning som skulle vara till bordet bredvid. Tallrikarna togs bort när vi börjat äta och gavs till de andra. Ingen kompensation. Dessutom svindyrt.

Best coffees and toasties in Brighton. We come here regularly after our early morning swim. The toasties are excellent with bread from the Real Patisserie.

first visit this eveing, I had the "better day" Ramen, bouncy chewy noodles with a umami broth with a sausage and spam, it was delicious. The cocktails were two for £10, they were also fab. Unpretentious, homely and tasty food and lovey owners. You can tell alot of love goes in the food. I paid £17 for a cocktail and a filling bowl of ramen which nowadays is really good value. Will be visiting again!

Éramos una fiesta de cuatro adultos y 2 niños. Todos nos atendieron en cuanto a la elección y el tamaño de la porción. Tuve lubina y risotto del menú especial del almuerzo, que estaba delicioso. Sin embargo, toda la comida estaba recién cocinada y era servida por amables camareros eficientes.

Recibido con una cálida bienvenida del personal atento. Menú buena y buena elección de bebidas. Gran ambiente para pasar tiempo con la familia y amigos. Muy recomendable ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well we had a high tea gift, so we decided to do something different from the normal sandwich and cream cake and tea So glad we did, we was greeted with welcoming lady's staff. They came and offered cocktails and they were fantastic. The high tea was a mixture of chicken, burger, etc, they are small but then came the sweet, After that two shots of vodka to finish. Well both myself and wife was happy and had a great time. Definitely be coming here again soon. Lady's staff, keep up the fantastic work. R

Brunch is good and served for ages which is a plus! Drinks are nice but can take a while when busy and can fill up quick (a good sign though)

Nice place very vibey, definitely on its way to being 'the spot' in the laines. Only thing for me was that the staff weren't very chatty and the coffee is a bit pricey. Will be back though

I ordered a large cake for my partner's big gay birthday party this last week- a huge vegan lemon cake with lots of decoration and a photo printed in icing. (See the photo for a laugh). Not only was the cake stunning and perfect looking, it also tasted incredible!! Super moist and delicious. All of the guests were raving about it and going back for seconds! I'm so grateful to you and we'll absolutely be ordering again. Thank you so much!

Wonderful experience in the restaurant today. The girl in the shop, Reyann, was very helpful and acknowledged that I didn't want to be rushed and took her time in serving me. Very lovely atmosphere and food was delicious 😋

Wow very impressive b&b, feels deluxe!!! Gorgeous rooms and view, and free breakfast in your room!!! So nice I've booked it twice. Perfect location too. Definitely coming back. Lovely pub downstairs, will try the food later but menu looks ideal!!!! Wonderful staff.
