Terrible pleace, the food is horrible, the service is poor. Avoid at all costs

Nice new restaurant very pleasant staff but very disappointing food I only wanted a simple Panini but it was poor quality and not cheap plus the Cappuchino was weak won’t be going back here to eat for a while let’s hope it improves.

We like The Waverley and visit quite regularly. Sat right on the seafront between Bognor Regis pier and Aldwick, it’s a great spot for breakfast. We like the quite eclectic interior with a quite boho mix of seating and a great fire for the cooler months. Decent beer and a good menu, friendly service and a happy clientele make it a good destination

Excellent home cooked beef Sunday roast. Best I have eaten out. Informal and pleasant service. Friendly locals great to watch football.

We visited today for coffee and to purchase an artificial xmas tree. We chose scones and coffee, one cheese and one fruit. Both of these were virtually inedible, the cheese had no flavour whatsoever, both that and my fruit scone were dry and extremely dense, neither tasted either nice or fresh and we were unable to finish. My black coffee was awful, a distinct undertone of washing up liquid or similar, undrinkable, I had to resort to glasses of water in an attempt to push my scone down. The selection of artificial xmas trees was abysmal, so the whole outing a huge disappointment and one we will not be repeating.

We just went in for a beer. A very pleasant Wetherspoons - friendly staff, good beer, excellent prices. I'll happily go back there.

I was attacked in the Alex last night because I was on the phone to my girlfriend and I am from Wales DO NOT GO TO THIS PUB!!! the staff just watch it and didn't do anything!!! And then 12 black guys trun up to hurt me lucky enough I got out of there very quickly so FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY DO NOT GO TO THIS PUB!!!! Horrible behaviour all because I am from Wales!!!!

Great staff. Coffee was a high standard by a barista that clearly cared about the quality of my flat white. Everywhere clean and tidy and a happy relaxing environment.

Great pre ordered breakfast for 9 adults and 7 grandchildren, beautifully tasty hot and such a good selection of food. Fantastically organised by Adam and the rest of the team. Keeping in touch by email helped the party go smoothly as everyone knew what they were having and actually some had more 😂 three grandchildren had some of the wonderful cakes that were also available. We felt so welcome and were so glad to have met you all. Keep up the good work and may it prosper, as it deserves too Team Midpine! Thanks so much again Adam…..”X” there have another one! We were regular users of the old Carlyles despite living in Hampshire , the drive was worth it. Today we sampled the new cafe now called Whittakers. Positive points friendly staff and now dog friendly. Negative points food average and the breakfast omelette is now served with a hash brown instead of the little fried spuds of old.
