The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

I have not ONE bad thing to say about this place, it is our lunch spot of choice every Saturday. As a pub-loving vegan, and partner veggie, we find it hard to find interesting options to eat out, but this place has obviously put a lot of thought into their menu! They even have vegan chicken options in place of meat which I rarely see. And re the place itself, the staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive and friendly, even when the place is busy. They are also really helpful with any changes we ask for with our meals. It is incredibly dog-friendly, they've even brought over biscuits and water for us :) They are also very child/baby friendly which is important to note, having just had a HORRENDOUS experience at a different Kentish pub which claimed to be child-friendly (and evidently was far from it). The place is super cosy inside for winter, which is perfect for anyone who struggles with the sensory overload of brightness (🙋‍♀️) and is decorated with loads of eccentric bits and bobs, we see something new every time. MASSIVE garden outside with HEATERS, which is truly such a gem for places these days. I honestly don't get some of these negative reviews, some people shouldn't eat out. People complaining about 'fatty cheese'?? Sorry, what? Saying the lasagne wasn't made fresh? Do they understand it takes hours to make a lasagne? (The veggie lasagne is actually so delicious too). And the pièce de résistance for me, moaning that they can't be seated for food when the place is at full capacity for food...I am genuinely confused. Anyway, do yourself a service and go here.

This pub is one of the best in guildford, especially since it’s beautiful refurb. I have made it my new local! Roberto and his staff are always efficient, friendly and helpful, especially Ashley who does a great job of running the bar and is always smiling!!! Highly recommend!

This place has a lot to learn! Greeter friendly but waitress had zero engagement or friendliness at all. Food not great. I enjoyed my chicken but very over done, the few fries I had also over done and Tapas were hit and miss. Children’s meal was poor with old baked beans, over done, cheap sausages and a handful of fries. No one bothered to clear our small table of plates (4 of us) so we shuffled around everything to leave. Probably only have drinks in future.

Avoided The Welldiggers Arms for a few years as became rundown & very mediocre but REALLY pleased we went last night to discover new owners with excellent approach to hospitality. Warm welcome, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food & proper cloth napkins 👍. Fabulous thank you.

Went to see the Robbie Williams tribute act who was great! Staff are fantastic as always. HOWEVER our visit was ruined as a week later my dad received a £100 for waiting in the car park for 30 minutes to collect us (including my frail nan) - he didn’t even leave the car. We go to the Concorde quite often and at no point have we been told that we need to register car reg for pick up or drop off, and there were no visible signs. Really ruined our experience.

Convenient for a meal after shopping at Hempstead Valley. We we're seated quickly and asked for our drinks order. From there things went downhill. We waited 15 minutes for our food order to be taken then a further 30 minutes for our meals. We then waited for our table to be cleared and desert menus. Neither were forthcoming so we got a menu from another table, on seeing this the server came and cleared the table and took our desert orders. The overall waiting time ruined our experience and we won't be returning.

We had the Ploughman’s for two which was beautifully presented and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend. Staff were great too

The breakfast here is always outstanding, I have made a special request for some particular requirements for my perfect breakfast. It doesn't matter how busy they are. They always come through with the goods. I guess we go there, maybe once in 5 - 6 weeks always excellent. Keep up the good work. Oh and don't forget to clean the sauce containers had one that was blocked and on use the sauce went everywhere.

I alwaye go to waitrose at least 3 days a week for shopping and visiting their cafe. Staff are very polite and helpful. Waitrose cafe offers various foods and snacks.the cafe is always clean and tidy Free wi-fi staff are always polite and helpful.try the cafe you dont be disappointed.

A very cosy environment and a busy atmosphere gave the Fleece a really nice buzz. There was some big tables in enjoying Xmas work meals and so we were advised that service may be a little slower but in fact everything went very smoothly. The staff were all very friendly and professional despite being busy All the food was delicious, the service excellent and the choice of 0% beer very good! Portions were decent, there were some nice ‘gastro’ touches like the crisp chicken skin accompanying the Chicken Schnitzel and the truffle mayo. And the Tiramisu was stunning! All in all, great food, friendly service and a cosy venue
