Life was really difficult then millenials Such a great friendly pub, even though I left Tranmere in 1994, they made me feel like I had never been away. We've been here lots of times over the last few years and the food has always been good, the only issue we have is that there is no flexibility with menu ie no chips before 12 o clock or no toasties during the week????? WHY, today they ran out of eggs and bacon by 11 but still no chips till after 12???? WHY, good cafe but needs managing better.

Went to the Village to watch football whilst visiting friends in Formby. It's a basic drinking den with cheap drinks at the cash only bar. Furniture a bit grubby and some of the TVs have average picture quality. Having said all that it's a really friendly place with really nice staff. We got talking to several people before the match started.

Food was ok and varied. Service was poor. Sometimes you had to ask what was for tea at near 8.30pm and take your own plates to the kitchen! Plenty of room for improvement. Will go back there though!

Really nice refurb! The whole place has been done up recently and the atmosphere is great, worth every penny and definitely compliments the vibe of this lovely seaside village.

Absolute horror show Ordered online. Told to collect between 2.30-3. It’s now nearly 4pm and I’m still waiting for my food. I was spoken to like a piece of dirt by some guy who resembled Hunchback of Notra Darm. Wait your turn. Nothing I can do about it. It’s not me. It’s not my fault. Never ever coming back here again and it stinks of death

Freezing cold and uncooked sausages.

Dropped in one Monday evening, was very guilt clientele wise but fairly loud music playing over the speakers. Decent pint of two at reasonable price.

Click and collect team are useless. Book a time slot, never ready, even though you get a text to say ready. Complaining gets you know where. So will switch shops going forward. Worst customer service experience from anywhere

proper let down 👎 different brands of sausages, stinky eggs, over fried hashbrowns that taste of oil, an id rather try lesbianism than eat that bacon. only thing that i could stomach to finish was the beans
