No GF options. Staff totally disorganised but trying best to keep up with demand. Cafe not able to cope with demand so queues slow. Food basic. Bread not fresh. Jacket potato quite hard. Not great for a cafe in a supermarket.

Long wait, we are waiting for our food for over 40 minutes. This is ridiculous. If you want to eat there go when is quiet and not many people because is worth it, food is delicious. I had a waffle with bacon and Marple syrup, and my husband had an avocado toast with poached egg. Staff are doing their best to cope with the demand. I will ask management to consider help during the rush hours.

Good food but would have liked to remove the carbs on the menu, but they do not allow it apparently. Food was great however, but the tables were dirty even though it was quiet

I ordered a brioche bun with bacon and egg. I suppose I got that, but with some extras too, which made it pretty unpleasant. I had a look inside, the top of the bun was smeared with some pink stuff (didn't taste of much) the bottom of the bun had a layer of something like caramelized onion chutney (why?). Something had gone badly wrong with the egg, maybe it had exploded in the microwave? A couple of rashers of bacon, not bad, but topped with a pale orange square of processed cheese, not melted, just plonked on. I ate some of it, not much. The coffee was decent.

This is a light and airy place to eat. Quiet and clean. Having decided what to eat at the entrance I then found the board with more info to be on the wall behind the counter and had to change my mind due to ingredients I don't eat. This made me feel rushed as the member of staff was waiting to take my order and there was a queue behind me. The food didn't take long to be served at our table. It was freshly cooked and a reasonable portion for a light breakfast.

At last, one of the major supermarkets have finnaly figured that there is a market for vegan offering in their cafes. It is a shame that this is not shared by Sainsburys; Morrisions; Waitrose or M&S). Tesco also use products that they seel (eg vegan sausages), something that Sainsburys refuse to do. The staff are also very helpful and courteous.

a cold suday morning ordered 1 bacon bap and 1 sausage the bacon was nearly raw tore the white edge of it and the bread dry took 1 coffee back twas cold 1st visit and the last

New manager Christian is lovely. The cafe is a very nice place to eat in. Quick food, very accommodating. Nice drinks. Decent prices.

Had a delicious bacon sandwich with bloomer bread. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. When doing your shopping it’s worth calling in at the cafe before gong home.

I was having a look around this area and was hunger so called in to the Tesco store for some lunch. The choice was large and the staff were very friendly, with a polite matter and speedy service. I had a choice of what hot food I wanted and picked it so I only had what I liked. I didnt even have to take it to the table the gentleman brought it for me.

Visiting at lunch time the cafe had only 6/8 customers., “the writing was on the wall”. Whilst choosing my food a young man I assumed to be the canteen manager was bringing back to life the chilli con carne. One baked potato was on show, this had more wrinkles than an Indian elephant. I thought there would be no way it would be served. I was wrong. One thing that could not be said that it wasn’t cooked. I did advise him my disgust. The food has got to be improved if more customers are to use this cafe.

i treated my daughter & grandson to a early lunch so it wasn't too busy we asked for a jacket potato & was told it would b at least 20 mins so we picked toasties instead thinking it would b quicker as kids get bored quickly it didn't it still took 25 mins was ok when it came but nothing special i thought it was expensive to costing £16 would have been cheaper at mcdonals. we sat near the windows and the window sill & floor was very dirty so couldn't have been cleaned very well too early in the day to have been used much i won't b going back

I popped into Tesco for a cuppa and some toast. The staff were very friendly and quick to serve. My concerns are that when using the till and money exchanged there was no hand washing or gloves used or even utensils to pick up the bread with and put into the toaster. When the toast was ready I was dissapointed as they gave me margarine and not real butter, this was a let down to the taste. I would return again but would be apprehensive what food I would have . All other areas were clean just a bit dissapointed on this occasion.

The food and drink is average but is a good place to rest after a long day. It has a microwave and preparation station for baby food if needed.

Nothing about this place is good. The food is awful. Anything hot appears to be heated in a microwave until inedible. Staff clearly don’t want to be there.

Service was dreadful from Val today...this woman seriously needs some customer service training or if I am incorrect I can only applaud Tesco for recruiting special needs but they should be accompanied while serving..

Called in for a quick coffee and a sit down whilst shopping in the supermarket. Slow service, tables not cleared and OK staff, not really bothered by you being there. Coffee OK, not brilliant. Not a destination I'd make a point of going to

El servicio era muy lento. No hay conversación mientras te sirven. Parecía ser una persona tomando pedidos de comida y bebida, preparar bebidas, sirve comida, limpiar las mesas. . Probablemente explica por qué se tomaron un montón de mesas con vajilla utilizada. Las bebidas estaban bien y caliente. Flora sirve con scones estaba fuera de fecha!

Fresh food, in expensive. Fine detail taken if you have any allergies. Tables kept clean and tidy. Hot chocolate was really nice.

Very little choice in here, they always seem to have a limited amount of food. The drinks are ok, the sandwiches were average.

We had sandwiches and drinks here while shopping, not my usual kind of place, but ok if you're in a hurry! They tasted ok, but prefer more choice!

Mi padre y yo fuimos aquí como una parada mientras estábamos alrededor de la ciudad y el anciano señora que nos servía era grosero y miserable. Ella nos preguntó qué queríamos que mi padre respondió un jamón y queso sandwichera que estuvo bien. Entonces pedimos un desayuno durante todo el día y pidió no huevo, ella prácticamente ignoró el hecho de que había pedido no huevo. Nos trasladamos a la otra chica hasta donde nos preguntaron qué tener (no de comunicación) así que de nuevo pedimos de nuevo y pedí un óvulo que lo que hizo exactamente lo mismo que a la otra persona. Luego, cuando nuestra comida llegó puedes adivinar lo que había en mi plato, sí, huevos. Ahora no estoy normalmente un ser exigente pero cuando su alérgicos a huevo y que pedimos 2 veces a 2 personas diferentes que cabría esperar no huevo y no sólo era un mal desayuno las patatas fritas grande incluso cocinada. En general, bastante pobres.

food isnt very fresh as the breakfast except fried eggs is lying on counter cheese and onion toasties havent much filling its not brillant food

Stopping off at costa coffee is a common thing for myself and my family when shopping at tesco.

Ok to pop in for a quick bite to eat if you are having a busy day and need to grab something and prefer a hot meal. Food is of a standard quality, not a vast choice but you should find something. Staff are generally polite but do have conversations amongst themselves when serving you. Drinks are costa coffee. Plenty of seating, with trolley storage to one side. Usually has a few people in but not much atmosphere, just another supermarket cafe.

We've only been here twice due to poor service the first time, and unfortunately the second time was the same. The drinks were satisfactory and the staff were quite unorganised, although one girl appeared from the back and actually restored some order to the line of customers. We only use this Costa as a last resort, not a choice

Been here a couple of times now and I have to say the sandwiches and baguettes are always fresh and very nice. My daughter had a cooked meal which she enjoyed, however the panini was reheated too hot and took ages to cool down. Teas and coffees are Costa coffee brand and are very nice.

The food and drink is ok, the staff are polite enough, but I feel there is something missing from here, no character. I would only choose it if I had nowhere else to go!
