Rude staff! That clearly don’t want to be there! Asked for something they didn’t have at the time, rather than being told ‘sorry we have sold out and won’t have anymore until tomorrow morning when they are made’. I was told ‘no haven’t got any and not trained to make them!’ Turned her back on me and walked off! Greggs generally has friendly accommodating staff, this young lady should maybe try a job role that doesn’t involve loyal customers asking questions!

Cold drinks are warm, grumpy till workers, "Hot" food (Like Pastries) are extremely cold and atmosphere? None. More to Elaborate on but shortened to stop Harshness.

The worst bacon baguette I’ve ever had. The bacon would have served a better purpose on the sole of my shoe, so burnt!! The baguette was stale and to add no spread to help. I would have taken it back but walked the length of the car park to get it and the queue when I left was very long. DONT DO IT

Food well stocked, but staff are quite bluntly, rude. Misheard our order and when I asked about it (very politely might I add), got a snappy response of ‘well you didn’t order that’ Don’t apply for a customer facing job if you don’t have the right attitude

Have had many a Greggs throughout the UK when travelling around, this was by far the worst. Went at 0830 ordered sausage bap and sausage and bacon bap. Both the sausages and bacon were dried out and unappetising. Not lying on car floor in bag waiting disposal at next stop. 🙁

Worst greegs ever. Never have any pizza and the staff looks confused and super slow. 10mins in a queue of 5 and still haven’t been served. I left and will never come back to this store

Very pleasant every where stocked up well.staff helpful . every thing they sell was out there .I am an x Greg's worker so I know what should be there. went away with a steak 🥩 pasty and a chicken pasty very nice.

Just had the worst coffee, freshly ground apparently! If I was doing a blind tasting I would not of known it was a coffee of any description, the 1 star was that it was piping hot

The Greggs on the BP south is brilliant. Very polite and professional staff. The Greggs food and drinks are always the best from here.

Good wee site acess for both sides situated on bridge. Covid aware health and safety oriented staff are professional and friendly

You can't beat Greggs Latte and sausage rolls - 2nd to none. There was a queue but still served very quickly and politely.

The only vegan thing in the shop was the festive bake, stuffin and cranberry sauce, asked about vegan steak bake or vegan sausage roll and unhelpful male said, we have stopped doing those!!! No wonder these places get protestors. Very poor show

Had a few meals and hot drinks from the Greggs upstairs over the motorway. Really good service and the female manager who was nearby offered to replace the food when I accidently dropped the bag. Excellent customer service! Food hot and fresh.

All open now great staff right next to town centre bus and tram and trian m60 only 1mile away Saturday market also Sundays flea market open Sunday here to for nice breakfast so what you waiting for get her soon and enjoy 😉 PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT GREGGS ITS COSTA M6 J19

You are at a motorway service station so you going to get ripped off. There are degrees of stealing and this outlet is one of the best as in it is less painful here than other places. Pricey and just ok service But the quality was lacking. Bacon roll was full of bacon but bacon was over cooked dry and chewy. It is almost impossible to get a bacon butty wrong and yet greegs managed it and charged me for the privilege.

1130hrs, very busy. We were given the wrong drinks order. Food fresh and tasty for a motorway stop reasonable charges 😋

Brilliant result! Greggs now accept Fuel for Food vouchers. That means 400 litres of diesel gets a Greggs breakfast baguette and a brew! Sorry, only applies to truckers, you know, the key workers!

There was at least 12 people waiting in the que and the staff was taking as long as they possibly could talking to each other, with 6 staff and only 1 till open , 2 of the larger staff done nothing the whole time I was there and when I finally got my breakfast baguette it was stale , never stopping at there services again

I know Greggs is supposed to be simple food and isn't aiming to be up market in anyway....but dear God the service and food quality at this particular branch at the knutfords service station was honestly awful......all three staff members were rude, short with me and clearly had no intention of putting any small amount of effort into what they were doing. ...I'm used to Gregg's pasties/sausage rolls from time to time being a little on the cooler side of warm, but often this comes with a statement from the server asking if this is ok. The cheese and onion pasty and Vegan Sausage Rolls I purchased were without being dramatic 'Stone Cold' .....I'm never usually the type of person to go back and ask for a swap with anything....but I did because I was actually worried it hadn't been cooked....to which I was told in a very dismissive manner 'it is what it is'

It's food, we all need food... stop judging me on my visits to fast food places 😉

Awful breakfast, everything was cold and egg was so over cooked it just crumbled into pieces, tried to save it by warming it up in the services microwave but now just feeling ill from eating it! Asked for ketchup couldn’t taste it!!!! 🤢

Love the vegan steak bake. And I'm neither vegetarian nor vegan. If I hadn't known it wasn't steak I wouldn't have been able to tell.

Polite staff and prompt service at a busy Greggs. New staff seemed to have been trained well too!

Lucie was our cashier when we stopped in and was so helpful and friendly. Sometimes when you stop at the services it’s not always this way, but she was lovely. I also really appreciate the Greggs vegan sausage roll, it’s nice for a snack while traveling. Keep up the good work Lucie and Greggs.

Greggs anywhere you go is perfect for grabbing some lunch as they do lively baguettes and cakes! All very reasonably priced and the bonus at this stop on the m6 services was that even though it was busy the staff were still friendly and nice!

Bought a festive bake with a coffee..the bake was cold..when I took it back to the assistants I enquired whether it was suppose to be hot as I expected.. The response was we are not to reheat the food..I asked when this item came out the oven. He said 30 minutes ago..so obviously not probed to temp when taken out of oven and no hot holding here then... Signed ...a catering manager...not impressed

The staff are very welcoming and polite and service with a smile. And most of all good deals on what they sell. Great food.

this is a greggs on an M6 service station good quality food but as you would expect not the cheapest allthough nether is it expensive in comparison to other offerings on the same service station

Prices fairly steep but what can you expect from a service station, decent tea

This motorway service station Greggs had the usual fodder on offer, which is pretty fresh and taste. But I've dropped 2 stars simply because it's the biggest rip-off ever and a shocking contrast to the great value you come to love and expect from the Greggs eateries on the high street. I paid something in the region of £8.50 for a couple of their nice baked squares and a packet of crisps. Normally, that would cost roughly half on the high street. Terrible value for money.

Early morning service was a joke. One young and very pleasant lady serving. Queue was out the door. Dispite young guys behind the counter 25 minutes I waited. 8am when customers are going to work.

Pulled in here with our caravan to get some lunch, we are regulars for Greggs for travelling lunches choosing to stop at service areas that offer Greggs. Parking is poor for caravans, no spaces that don’t involve reversing. Greggs bakes were lukewarm at best and had to fight with thirty Japanese tourist who had no idea of the concept of queuing. Coffee was average but hot.

Flys walking over the pasties and sausage rolls and not a care was given by the lad, who batted it away when he got a pasty for another customer. He heard that I spotted the fly in the cabinet and snarled me. So good luck to anyone that wants to eat there...

We, my husband and I, had an overnight stay at Knutsford Services. In the morning we decided to get a bite to eat for breakfast. Now I am no stranger to Greggs and I have bought food from there many times and I have never been disappointed, and on this occasion it remained that I was not disappointed. However, this was the first time I had ever ordered hot drinks and I was, well, shocked really. The tea was the worst tea I have ever had, ever! Now I am a tea belly, I love tea and they give you just water with a tea bag the rest you do yourself. I'm pretty sure I know how to make a cup of tea but still it was like dishwater, so much so I did not drink it. My husband also commented on the bad coffee, so I'd say if you plan to breakfast grab an orange juice instead and get the tea somewhere else.

Why are the British so undiscerning that they feel they have to eat at somewhere that mass produces food like this in a huge factory? For good ness sake, go somewhere like the Canute café in Knutsford for homemade products and really enjoy your snack.

Looking for a quick cheap snack. Food wasn't even lukewarm. Not a lot of choice and didn't seem to be making anything fresh.

After ordering our bacon and omlette rolls with coffee we were informed the coffee machine was not working properly and there was no maintenance at weekends (why). Then were horrified to see the young girl handle our rolls with bare hands who lòoked like she had just got up from a late night yuk! . In the back we could see a young man handling the raw bacon into a cooking tray again with bare hands . Is it too much to ask when you are serving food that people are going to put in tgere mouth and eat to not handle it without gloves . The girl then went on to handle the coffee machine a numerous other items . When away from home i do not wish my hard earned holiday break ruined by any chance of a bad tum duh!

It's Greggs. If you need to come on Trip Advisor to get the low down, then I suspect it's not for you. If you've lived amongst us for more than a few weeks however, then I'd suggest you pop in and stuff your pie hole with everything in the shop that resembles a pastry covered morsel of deliciousness. I'd take the steak slice intravenously if I could.

When I ask about lactose free product it was some kind of shock for the staff. No allergens list available. I just went somewhere else.

We used this lovely place to grab a coffee and a bite to eat before traveling onto Manchester Airport. Perfect

After purchasing our food, we were sitting eating it and I was shocked to see some terrible examples of poor hygiene being demonstrated by the staff.
