I'm guilty of not putting this review up nearly soon enough as this has been the location of choice for me, family, friends and basically anyone who we bump in to in the local area looking for a recommendation for a place to get first class coffee and food to match. The team are great and nothing is too much trouble. There is a really friendly and familiar atmosphere and this just gets better and better the more you visit. You'll quickly become familiar with regular faces and after tasting the food and drink you will understand what keeps them coming back. Seasonal specials come up throughout the year and I'd encourage anyone visiting to give them a try, then come back and try the others until you've done them all :) Coolers in the summer are a great refresher and the various hot chocolates in the winter help keep the chill at bay. Drop in and you won't regret it :)

Unfortunately this pub CLOSED Jan 24! It was our regular, mainly Wednesday night out. Amanda and Dave were great hosts, customers friendly and food great. Alas they had a run in over a beer issue with the notorious Humphrey Smith. Very unfortunate but not unusual with this chap. It’s a real shame!!!

Just got back from having lunch for my mothers' 86th birthday. The staff were so nice and couldn't do enough for you. The food was excellent, freshly prepared and a wide choice available. The cakes were a delight and the choices suited everyone. What a lovely tea room in great surroundings with excellent food and staff. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant pub, excellent service and very good food, we had the kebabs with a side of Nagar curry and it was fantastic. The prices are average compared to most pub’s in the area, and definitely worth it for the portions and quality.

Staying with family for the weekend and one suggested Cherry Brekkie…..let’s have it! Very busy small cafe, seating about 35 people and was packed! Lucky to get a table! Cherry breakfast, buttered toast, 2 eggs to your liking, bacon, mushrooms, hash brown, black pudding, white pudding, beans, tomatoes and 2 amazing sausages, complemented by a cup of tea for only £10.75 !! Excellent service, simple menu, and quality food! Normally, you’d expect a cafe of this size and location to be serving Aldi fayre…..not a chance!! Will be back again and again

Helpful when making booking. Polite service in shop. Nice afternoon tea. Beautifully decorated children's Halloween themed treats. Good selection to choose from. Vegetarian options provided. Space was a little tight where we were seated. I hadn't realised it was small inside.

Brilliantly crafted coffee the way I like it and the staff(especially Michaela) are lovely 😊 not even the big coffee chains grind decaf beans to order… I’ll be back!

I visit this cafe regularly and always have first class service. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is freshly prepared and full of flavor. Theres a few toys for the younger kids to keep them occupied while you wait, seating indoors for those colder days and a glorious suntrap with outdoor seating for those hot summer days. The prices are extremely reasonable with various hot and cold drinks. Definitely worth a stop for a drink or bite to eat if you're passing in middleton, just opposite the bus station.

Was slightly disappointed with Sunday lunch the plates were cold and had to send food back as it wasn't hot enough and thought £13.50 was expensive for Sunday lunch and the size wasn't much bigger than smaller portion

1/10 only good thing was the bottle of old mout cider. Dog friendly but people moving away from us (sausage dog who sat in silence) steak ciabatta came on a bread roll and was a like a tough dry piece of beef rather than any kind of steak. Food also came in around 3 minutes which tells me it's was all just heated up.

My husband and I went to the Summit Inn (Littleborough) for a few drinks and a meal. It was a couple of years since we last visited. Straight away we noticed things have deteriorated, one young lady behind the bar and another serving meals although the pub was very busy. This is not a complaint about the staff as it was obvious they were run off their feet. We were warned of a 40 minute wait for meals which came and passed. When the meal arrived it was a disgrace. How the chef let this meal leave the kitchen is a bad indication of his/her ability. One of the meals contained a baked potato and the skin was rock hard, impossible to cut into. The cheese and onion pie had collapsed into an almost flat mess. The beans were okay. The second meal was chilli with chips and rice. It arrived at the table with a skin on top. It looked to me as if it had been stood for a long time and then microwaved and served. Chatting with other customers outside the pub it sounded like this was quite common. This used to be a good pub with good meals, not any more. We won't be visiting again under this management.
