Just got back from having lunch for my mothers' 86th birthday. The staff were so nice and couldn't do enough for you. The food was excellent, freshly prepared and a wide choice available. The cakes were a delight and the choices suited everyone. What a lovely tea room in great surroundings with excellent food and staff. Would definitely recommend.

whet last week for breakfast was met by a snotty women who just said get a mask on no please ordered to use hand sanitizer then accused of breaking it as it did not work ,was then escorted to a table 4 foot from the door ordered the food waited for it to come i wish we had not bothered the handle fell off the teapot lucky it was not while pouring the tea, the food over cooked and cold the people serving had the worst manners ever maybe because we where workmen also bloody expensive £7.50 for basic breakfast that does not even include a pot of tea or coffee

Called in after a 10 mile hike in the surrounding area. Although not close to closing time they had stopped serving food and just coffee and cake was on offer. Shame as I was dying for a decent sandwich!! The welcome was friendly and was offered to sit inside or out. We never got handed a menu for drinks and they never did iced coffee which was a shame as it was a hot day that's what I fancied. Service was prompt. Tables outside nice rattan furniture. As no menu was offered, we ordered a pot of tea and Americano and picked cakes from the counter. Not sure of the price as my friend kindly paid!!

Called Saturday morning for coffee and toasted bagel with fruit in. Staff very pleasant. Coffee very good . Only thing to spoil it was when you drive up looks like a builders type yard behind it. This is screened off from the inside. You could can also eat outside if weather nice. Safe for children in the rear outside Al'so. Good views if you can look past the yard that's why only four stars thank you

Food average, staff pleasant enough but just as we finished lunch we were told they were closing early. This is now the third time this has happened so won't be going back!

Had afternoon tea here which we preordered . Lovely food, well presented. Good sandwich selection with pork pies and quiche. The nicest meringue I’ve ever eaten was one of several desserts along with bite-sized scones.Lovely helpful staff. Great value for money.Don’t be put off by the outside of the building-inside it is a little gem!!

Lovely little place just off the main road. Afternoon tea was amazing. More food than you can eat but you can have a doggie bag. Lovely fresh sandwiches, home made cakes and scones with jam and cream. Plus a glass of Prosecco if you like £4. Also lots of fresh cakes for sale or eat in.

It is easy to miss this excellent Tea Room as you drive along the A6033 between Littleborough and Todmorden. From the outside it is hard to tell that it is a café/tea room, the only indications being some relatively low key signage at the car park entrance and on the approach in either direction. My wife and I had driven past it often and thought that we must try it sometime. That "sometime" came about when several weeks ago we were passing at lunchtime and we decided to stop. The car park is unsurfaced but adequate and once inside we were iimpressed by the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The menu is quite extensive and offers an imaginative range of light meals including sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, salads and baked potatoes. The daily specials menu offers interesting alternatives generally including a hot dish of the day..There is a range of hot and cold drinks on offer and also a selection of mouth-watering cakes and pastries which can form the centre piece of a visit for afternoon tea.Service is prompt and friendly and dishes are freshly prepared to order. The dishes are also nicely presented and portions are generous and good value for money. The premises are clean and nicely looked after and there is toilet equipped to full mobility standards. If you are in the Littleborough/Walsden/Todmorden area and want to stop for a morning coffee, lunch or afternoon somewhere with a bit of character and individuality then a visit to the Waterfall Tea Room is recommended.

We have called in the tearoom when we have been out on our bikes for lunch on a few occasions and today for breakfast. Lovely tearoom, amazing staff and the food is just amazing. We had a full breakfast today and I can honestly say it’s the best I have ever had. Everything was so fresh and the sausage and bacon lovely plus it was presented beautifully. Thankyou so much.

As the name suggests, you may expect the tea room to be located in picturesque location within the Pennines, unfortunately though this is not the case. The tea room is located on the edge of a small industrial site.

Having past this Tearoom in my car a few times decided to drop in whilst on one of our regular walks by the Rochdale Canal. It was a Sunday and whilst busy they found us a table. Whilst we only had coffee, tea and cake we observed some amazing looking food laden plates being served and the friendly staff were explaining everything to their customers. Definitely worth the stop off

Had heard good things about this place so was rather looking forward to it. Some staff were more friendly than others. I thought that it was over priced for what you got. 3 of us and a baby for lunch and bill was £30 which not too much you would think but - 2 sandwiches, 1 slice of chess on toast and a quiche from the specials board - that in itself was over priced - a tiny bit of warmed up quiche and 6 tiny new potatoes and a bit of salad £8.50!! It didn't even take 5 minutes to eat. The cakes did look good but £3 a slice and £2.50 a coffee was just too much. I will not be back.

This is a place we have visited a few times in the past and I can truly say every time we visit it gets better and better. The staff are lovely and welcoming and are always on hand if you need them. Furthermore the food is always lovely and tasty and I can say that this is one of the best places to eat I’ve been and certainly the best in littleborough

Visited with my friend and her little girl for afternoon tea! Such a great selection for the children, fresh meats, salad, mini scones fruit pot and jelly she loved it! We had one afternoon tea and a gentleman’s tea, was delicious and so many cakes we had to box them up and take them home!

Been here several times now and all the staff are really friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Usually only have a brew and cake with friends to meet up, both always really nice but also eaten lunch here once which was also good. Decor is really nice and there is an area at the back to sit out if weather is nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea, which was a belated birthday present. The staff, without exception, were both friendly and welcoming. Our choice of either a pot of tea or coffee was served first, followed by a selection of sandwiches. The sandwich selection included: chicken, ham, egg and cucumber. All beautifully presented and very tasty. As we managed to finish the sandwiches the waitress returned to offer more. Four small scones with clotted cream and jam/jelly and eight delicate but delicious small cakes were served next with regular top-ups of tea and coffee. The waitress informed us that she would ‘box up’ anything that we didn’t eat to take away. Given that we had over indulged on the sandwiches, and were going directly home, we took advantage of the offer.

I reserved a table a few days in advance and the person who i spoke to on the phone was very helpful and friendly. Arrived at our booking and the inside was really nice, welcomed with a smile from one member of staff and showed to our table which was set beautifully. The only choice we got was our hot beverage, everything else was already prepared in the kitchen before we entered the building. We ordered afternoon tea for 3 adults and a child, the childs afternoon tea was mainly sugar..... with a couple of tiny sandwiches. There was jelly, 2 giant cookies, a miniature bite size scone and some crisps. The adults afternoon tea was made up of a selection of sandwiches, some cake, 1 tiny piece of quiche (for 3 adults to share) 2 pieces of pork pie, 3 miniature sized scones (no bigger than spoon without the handle) there wasnt anything that we could of each had, there were odd bits of cake we could share or go without. The sandwiches had crispy edges because they had been prepared in advance. Now im not usually one to complain but after hearing such good things about waterfalls we expected much much better. From my experience in tea rooms id of firstly expected an adult size scone, a choice of sandwich and maybe even a choice of cake. I felt like i’d paid £42 to pick and poke around leftovers that needed to get off the counter top to make way for beautiful cakes we didnt get a sniff of on our afternoon tea. I wont be recommending and i wont be going again. Thoroughly dissapointed

I found this on the web and when we got there we didn't like the look of it as by the entrance of a company gates . Pleasantly surprised inside. However it states gift shop and all I saw was a lamp stand, a painting and 3 plant pots for sale ( the latter being in the toilet!)

We called in for a light lunch whilst walking on the Rochdale Canal. Don’t be put off by the roadside location and unassuming appearance. The tea room is just lovely inside and the staff very welcoming and friendly. The home made food is imaginative and delicious and they serve excellent tea and coffee. If we lived nearer we would visit regularly!

What a lovely little treasure this is. Don’t be put off by the location and deceptive exterior appearance. It’s much bigger than you expect inside, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The service is efficient and the food freshly prepared. Save enough room for a cake to finish off as they are splendid.

The afternoon tea in particular is amazing and we fully intend to take more friends there this year, it is a lovely place and the staff for us really make the experience special. Thank you very much to all the hard working team!!!

Brilliant pub, excellent service and very good food, we had the kebabs with a side of Nagar curry and it was fantastic. The prices are average compared to most pub’s in the area, and definitely worth it for the portions and quality.

Staying with family for the weekend and one suggested Cherry Brekkie…..let’s have it! Very busy small cafe, seating about 35 people and was packed! Lucky to get a table! Cherry breakfast, buttered toast, 2 eggs to your liking, bacon, mushrooms, hash brown, black pudding, white pudding, beans, tomatoes and 2 amazing sausages, complemented by a cup of tea for only £10.75 !! Excellent service, simple menu, and quality food! Normally, you’d expect a cafe of this size and location to be serving Aldi fayre…..not a chance!! Will be back again and again
