Brilliant pub, excellent service and very good food, we had the kebabs with a side of Nagar curry and it was fantastic. The prices are average compared to most pub’s in the area, and definitely worth it for the portions and quality.

I came here with friends for New Years eve plus an overnight stay and was really impressed by the service. For dinner, a selection of Turkish dishes offered more variety beyond the standard pub fare. For evening drinks, the staff were really friendly and attentive, keeping on top of empty glasses without being overbearing. The room was furnished to a high standard with and offered views of the valley below and the hills nearby. A lovely breakfast rounded the trip off. I would very much recommend.

We had had a drink a the pub but not eaten there previously as my mum moved to the area recently. I booked a table for 4 with a dog in the dog friendly section of the dining area. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. Simply the best squid I have eaten outside of Greece - fresh and perfectly cooked. Other starters included the king prawns and tzatziki and pitta bread - again all delicious. I ordered the beef stroganoff with rice and salad - perfectly cooked sirloin, delicious mushroom sauce. Others ordered the homemade steak pie, moussaka and the stroganoff. We were staying locally for Christmas and will definitely be back to eat when we are next here. The place was packed with people, all seeming to be having a great time.

Very impressed! We visited with family - 12 plus baby - and had a good evening. 9 or 10 different dishes selected and each of us enjoyed our meal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Impressed with their willingness to adapt dishes for the vegan and vegetarians in the family.

Stopped off for a family lunch after a walk ordered the fish and chips and the chicken skewers when it arrive I cut into the chicken which was raw inside another family member said the fish was cold in the middle . Won’t be going again . Especially when the prices were quiet expensive . Not at all impressed.

I called in for a pint, been up here on and off for over 15 years. Walked win with my dog and I was made to feel as welcome as a warm bucket of sick. Never again

Fabulous food, fabulous service, this hotel deserves to have a Michelin Star their food and service is so good.

Love the king bill, it’s a lovely pub with gorgeous views and lovely on a sunny day. Unfortunately the food is not as wonderful, maybe we chose the wrong things? We came in for a Sunday lunch, husband had beef dinner and I had one of the limited vegetarian options on the menu- mushroom stroganoff. The meat was very tough and mine was very basic, not overly flavoursome and we said we would not return for food. We occasionally pop in for some chips which are really nice or a drink but that’s it. I’d love to see the king bill steering away from British pub grub and offering some more Turkish food, we don’t have that in Littleborough and something more authentic would be desirable.

The 2 of us were looking for a late lunch on Saturday12th November- I remembered that I'd enjoyed a drink in the King Bill1 -a couple of years back. - We didn't eat on that occasion, I googled and found KW were serving food. We both ordered 1/2 shoulder of lamb. Neither my sister or I could believe the food we were served. The lamb- served with a choice of mint gravy or pomegranate juis was exquisite. We had a little time to wait for our food- the wait was worthwhile- after all we weren't in a fast food outlet. The lady behind the bar was charming, After we had eaten our fill, we asked for Doggy bags- simply because nobody in their right mind would leave the remainder of the delicious lamb on the plate. Chef was not only amazing but very helpful too. Well done Team King William. (We would have rated the food higher- if there'd been an option to do so.) Today, Sunday) I've enjoyed a very tasty Sunday lunch- without having to buy a penny. ! Advice- check opening times so as not to be disappointed.

Been several times since moving in locally. The menu is large for a small pub. The setting on the top of the hill is lovely on a sunny day. The portion sizes are always on the large size and very reasonable priced. We’ll be back again and again.

Get together with friends and a good way to introduce them to one of Littleborough's best eateries. Super friendly staff, welcoming and cheerful without being pushy. Pristine toilets and a great outdoor eating/ drinking are with super views. [unfortunately rathe wet this visit]. Settled down and ordered drinks- just chatting and choosing our meals- cheese & onion pie; moussaka; steak pie and of course my lamb shoulder! Too stuffed for dessert- must try something else next time.

Chips are great but any meals we have had here have been below average. Maybe we have ordered the wrong things? Would like more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu. The pub is obviously in a beautiful setting and the staff are really friendly.

Been meaning to try this local pub since we moved to the area 2 years ago, and it did not disappoint. Staff were extremely friendly and professional , great ciders and even better food. Will be back to try the midweek menu 👍🏼

May sound a bit over the top but back again and LAMB shoulder with minted gravy and chips= fantastic, feed a family of 4 really. but delicious. A full gravy boat [normally I have to ask for extra but not here]. All the others had great meals also, topped off with a scotch at the tables out in the evening sun. It does not surprise me that the reviews are all good. Staff cheerful and attentive. The chef chatted and found time to move around the groups on the tables. Thanks and will be back

We the king Bill on recommendations from a friend, we had not been here for several years, it's only a small menu but everything we had was delicious, I had the half Shoulder of Lamb with chips and veg, this was the best one I have had, my wife went for the mushroom stroganoff, also very tasty- generous portions. the staff were very welcoming and friendly, we will be visiting here again

After a long walk it was lovely to visit this charming gastro pub. Great food in big portions and prepared by confident chef. Cosy dining rooms and super friendly and efficient service by a team of young waiting staff! Will definitely be back for more!

visited yesterday for an early evening meal, and enjoyed it greatly. friendly, with tasty food, attentive owners, seemed to have a wide range of beers. no negatives at all. will return soon tempted by a good selection of food. indoor and outdoor tables and gardens
