Waste of time and money, terrible value for money. Eggs Benedict’s with egg fully cooked more like boiled eggs. Dry bacon, sausages halloumi all looked and felt cooked hours ago and reheated. Don’t waste your money, go somewhere else.

Don’t bother if you want to be scammed and spoken to rudely. Absolutely awful door staff. No manners whatsoever. Visiting Manchester and decided to give impossible a go as they had plastered all over their social media and Fatsoma free entry all night for the bank holiday Sunday. Got there and charged £10 entry per person even after showing the guy literally everywhere states free entry. Got in and there was about 10 people in the whole venue so clearly not very popular. With nightlife already struggling, impossible aren’t doing themselves any favours with extortionate entry and drink prices. Not busy either so I wouldn’t bother going again. Complete scam.

I go in to market street starbucks a few times a week and the staff are lovely each time. I order on the app and they make my drinks perfectly 😊. Received this cute little message on my drink this afternoon 😊. Cheered me up on what was a stressfull busy day 😅. Thank you for the nice drinks 😊.

As non residents recently arriving in Manchester, we found this place via Google. Reviews of 4 stars! Pah! Got directed by reception, down stairs. Asked for a table for four and had to wait for table to be cleared. Literally only three tables were taken in what looks to be an extensive restaurant. We should have realised then we were going be dissapointed. Were were hungry and sat down. After 10 mins no one came to serve us. Asked at the bar to be told "you have to order at the bar". There is nothing any where on the bar or restaurant that indicates this. OK, we order at the bar or at least we tried. On what was not an extensive menu most options were not available. Ordered 2 8oz Ribeye steaks, medium rare, with skin on fries and onion rings. Food was delivered around 8.30pm, one was medium the other cremated! No one came to the table to ask how our meals were and failed to bring the onion rings. All for meals, that you have to pay up front for! Coupled with the beers not available from the bar and to be told we couldn't order a desert because the kitchen closed at 9, our complaint was to be heard. Went to reception to speak to the manager. To be told we were told at check in, we would have known. We were walk ins! Manager was useless! Apologised but couldn't accept responsibility! I showed her the 3.9 review and the fact that the website showed the restaurant was still open! She apologised that they weren't up to our standards, in fact they are not living up to their own standards! They get a 1 star as there is nothing lower! Massively dissapoited with the start to our weekend in Manchester!

Como se está poniendo de manifiesto con los shysters de aparcamiento privado sin escrúpulos, el cliente desprevenido que visita este hotel debe ser muy cauteloso con el régimen de aparcamiento engañoso. La señalización no está clara cuando comienza y termina el tiempo, el personal no tiene ni idea de cómo funciona y el acoso de la empresa de estacionamiento es totalmente desproporcionado. Muy sorprendidos de que DoubleTree elija nombrar a un grupo tan inmoral de estafadores de dinero y aún más sorprendidos de que no intervengan para anular tal mala praxis. Habla de la cola moviendo al perro. No hay cálida bienvenida aquí. La comida es menos que mediocre y el personal es tan lento. Genuinos viajeros CUIDADO!

I've must have been going to Philpotts for over a decade now, since the store first opened. The staff are always friendly, the bacon is good and thick and the sandwiches are really tasty. I am a firm Philpotts fan! 😃
