Great to people watch here as overlooks Piccadilly Gardens. Close to Arndale and Northern Quarter if just needing a takeaway.

As non residents recently arriving in Manchester, we found this place via Google. Reviews of 4 stars! Pah! Got directed by reception, down stairs. Asked for a table for four and had to wait for table to be cleared. Literally only three tables were taken in what looks to be an extensive restaurant. We should have realised then we were going be dissapointed. Were were hungry and sat down. After 10 mins no one came to serve us. Asked at the bar to be told "you have to order at the bar". There is nothing any where on the bar or restaurant that indicates this. OK, we order at the bar or at least we tried. On what was not an extensive menu most options were not available. Ordered 2 8oz Ribeye steaks, medium rare, with skin on fries and onion rings. Food was delivered around 8.30pm, one was medium the other cremated! No one came to the table to ask how our meals were and failed to bring the onion rings. All for meals, that you have to pay up front for! Coupled with the beers not available from the bar and to be told we couldn't order a desert because the kitchen closed at 9, our complaint was to be heard. Went to reception to speak to the manager. To be told we were told at check in, we would have known. We were walk ins! Manager was useless! Apologised but couldn't accept responsibility! I showed her the 3.9 review and the fact that the website showed the restaurant was still open! She apologised that they weren't up to our standards, in fact they are not living up to their own standards! They get a 1 star as there is nothing lower! Massively dissapoited with the start to our weekend in Manchester!

First time in Manchester and decided to stop by here for a coffee because it’s well-presented and has a varied menu. The staff and service were lovely, and the Jamaica Blue Signature Blend coffee was really impressive. Would come again for the good coffee.

The most awful party venue. Food was delivered an hour late (guests leaving before it arrived) and was poor quality. We pre-ordered £1,000 of drinks only for them to put out 3 bottles of wine instead of 30. The bouncers came in at 9.30 to forcibly eject family members under 18, literally dragging them out. They closed the balcony at 11 (not that they told us they were going to do this beforehand) and then put a bouncer on the balcony door as though we were children to police people not going out. DJ had really bad attitude. Ruined a special family gathering that people had travelled from all over Europe for. Totally embarrassing. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

It is always a pleasure to come back to this particular Costa place,most because of the staff who are very welcoming,warm and kind people.

Woman behind counter had an attitude problem, no patience, sandwich was bland and expensive, the first and last time Iam going here.

Very limited choice of 2 starters and 2 mains using a Groupon deal. Wine was good and staff were also good but place was being renovated and lacked any coziness and atmosphere.

Had an 'Afternoon Tea' voucher as a present, and went into Manchester deliberately for a day out and to enjoy this. Shutters were down and empty.

Terrible service waited 35 minutes before being asked if we wanted a drink nearly an hour for food which was tepid and really small portions, no one checked on us no one asked if we wanted another drink sadly disappointed and will not be returning. Thankfully the cookie given to us at check in was delicious and will keep us going until we get breakfast In the airport

Love this Starbucks! Staff are always great and service is always fast. My go-to on Fridays when I’m in the office! Cheers guys
