That's a good place to go have a snack before, during or after your visit to the museum. For that purpose, it's a great place. There are a lot of options and the service is amazing.

Nice looking place in keeping with the science museum. Sadly my Danish pastry was so dry it crumbled and the sandwich was soggy. However my husband enjoyed his muffin.

We visited here at the end of the day very briefly as my son was desperate for a drink of water. Unfortunately we were told we couldn't be served as they were cashing up and my son was on the verge of a meltdown! However a member of a staff very kindly offered to buy this for him from his tips! I don't think he knows how much his kindness meant to me!

The bistro was definitely a fantastic surprise and added to the highlight of the musuem. We didn't expect fantastic food being in a musuem. The food was served quickly which was a relief to our very hungry children. Generous portions and fantastically cooked food. To top it off, the manager of the place made it so personal by coming to each table to make sure every thing was ok. Huge thumbs up and thank you for such a lovely eating experience.

so today my son and I went to the science and industry museum, I got hungry and suggested we eat there on one of the upper floors. It wasn't crowded as I think most people go to the lower floor.....big mistake! we were greeted by the manager, sat where we liked and he explained about table numbers/menus ect. we were quite hungry when we sat, but being the middle of the day I ordered a salad. my son the same with a bowl of chips to share, a cappuccino for me and fresh orange for my son, it came to just £14, that's not bad for two people in a place like that. When the salad came !! it was like an M&S advert!! this was not just any salad, not your basic toms and lettuce!! it was beautiful and SO much of it,It was a really lovely combination of flavours, raw and cooked , cusscuss and potato salad and really beautifully laid out. I was actually defeated so was my son !! he's 24! and a vegetarian !that's a mean fete! He has hollow legs. didn't catch the managers name I'm afraid but the waitress was lovely (Alex ) and Rowan the chef, . the menu wasn't extensive but it doesn't need to be in a place like this. (and food like that!)and I watched as the manager busily went around all the table not just cleaning but making sure they all had menus/condiments ect, . and talking to the families that were there making sure they knew about the web site to log onto whilst there. I'm very impressed and thinking of going back with my grandchildren.

Grabbed a coffee and tea cake before heading into museum. Loved the interior of this building. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Coffee was really good. The tea cakes were OK, but we could have as much butter and jam as we wanted. Nice atmosphere and a great area in which to enjoy a great cup of coffee.

I'm sure as many readers have done so also, been disappointed with cafes in tourist attractions. This cafe really makes an effort, struggles sometimes during busy periods but good value.

Lovely brunch on the Science Museum first floor restaurant. Although firstly expecting to have to choose between burguers and pizza deals, I really enjoyed the chicken and leek pie and the chips. Clean and cosy place with really effective and kind attending staff.

La comida es mejor de lo habitual en los restaurantes de un museo tecnológico. Comí un fish and chips muy bueno, y el menú infantil de mi hijo también estaba más que correcto.

Visited the new Bistro on the first floor of the museum. We had two dishes from their deli offering and a kid's meal of pasta. The salad was bland, the beef was tough, the quiche was fridge temperature. The pasta meatballs were like squash balls. It's the like the kitchen team has only been given photos of the dishes but no instructions on how to make them. It's an open kitchen so you can see staff looking busy.

There was nothing actually wrong with what I had, but I felt it was not really worth the price paid. I appreciate they have to serve all comers and a lot of children, but I was not bowled over

We decided to stop for lunch after visiting the museum. We were early in the day and the restaurant was quiet so we didn't have any problems with service as other reviewers have mentioned. My husband and I had a salad each and we thought the quality was great - all locally grown food that tasted excellent - and there was a good choice too. The restaurant caters very well for children and our 18 month old really enjoyed his food - there is a counter of snacking food available for kids - sandwiches, cheese, fruit etc. It cost about £25 for the three of us which included going back for tea and cake after our mains. I would definitely recommend.

We stopped in here for Sunday lunch while enjoying a day at the MoSI. It was quite quiet and we served very quickly. I received a very substantial portion of two meats and plenty of veg. The meat was good quality, but what was more surprising was the veg were also very tasty, which many places doing a roast dinner don't put much effort into. It was also very good value for money I thought, so I'd definitely recommend it!

Dont bother. We stopped by for a coffee after a visit to the museum, and it was a mistake. Didn't order cake as you could see they were all either under- or over-cooked. The coffee was undrinkable. I had to send a drink back and didn't get an apology from the staff member. Awful.

We grabbed some lunch here yesterday. It was a strange experience. We decided to eat some hot food & the 4 or 5 plates were already on show, so you knew what you were getting, you then give your order and table number & the waiter disappeared. When he came back, i said 'where do you pay?'

Have never seen such a disorganised place in my life. Staff no idea how the system worked( said under new management ). 3 stations to order food which is expensive ( would take our own next time). When you ordered you were not given a copy of your order so when you finally found the till he asked what we had ordered, good job we are honest because you could have said anything. Me and the children had finished our meals and 30 mins in my husband had to go ask where his pizza was only to find they had forgottenn him. Would not go again

Being at MoSI early, ready for it to open at 10, it was great to see the Warehouse Cafe lights on and door open! We ordered a selection of drinks, both hot and cold, and took a seat at the bar in the window. The feel of the Warehouse Cafe is industrial chic, with sockets for charging tech. The kids were quite tempted with the cake and pastries, which looked lovely, and I'd definitely consider eating here in future.

5 adults and 2 kids had lunch here on Friday and the food was awful. I had the aubergine curry with rice and it was worse than any "boil in the bag" type meal!! it was tasteless and watery and the rice was the plastic microwave variety! My daughter chose the salad bar choosing the quiche and she left the lot! 2 guys had pizzas which they weren't impressed with at all. The only one happy was my 4 year old grandson who chose a child's lunch bag which had cucumber, grapes and cheese sandwiches in - he was pleased. We won't eat there again!

A cafe at the entrance of the Museum of Science and Industry. Good selection of sandwiches, paninis, cakes, coffees, speciality teas, etc. Artisan Lancashire crisps were an unusual touch - Lancashire sauce or black pudding and mustard crisps - I've not seen these anywhere else!! Good, friendly staff - good atmosphere but VERY busy. Prices are reasonable.

The place is nice, with confortable couches. The coffee was average (too much water) and they got this bad idea to put looping christmas song (Christmas is in more than a month...). Too bad because the couches made me want to stay there all day. No wifi but could use the one of the museum next by.

Great cafe located next to the Science and Industry museum. Busy but we managed to get a table, and some of the tables are big enough for small groups to share. Quite expensive but pretty much priced as I expected given the location being ideal for tourists of the museum and nearby Corrie tour. Drinks and cakes were nice. Staff were friendly and service was fast.

O dear o dear what a cafe to dine for dinner. Completely the wring choice. Ordered the fish chips and peas and for the high price it wasn't up to standard. Cold plate to start off, frozen chips not cooked in the middle and soggy batter on the frozen undercooked fish So disappointed as it was nearly empty so time was on there side to get it right The staff were nice front of house but sadly definitely won't be recommending this cafe and will never return.
