Fijne autenthieke plaats. Heel vriendelijke bediening. Mooi assortiment cakes. Lekkere koffie. Soep zeer zeker aan te bevelen. Zels de hond kreeg een snoepje.

l sampled the dish of the day, a risotto style pilau dish, it was well presented and absolutely delicious. l then shared a dessert which was equally scrumptious. l strongly recommend this place.

Lovely little set up here and my coffee was perfect, especially on a cold weekday morning before getting the train. Would definitely recommend to anyone, never mind just coffee tasting lovers. There was also such a lovely vibe with the music playing and warm set up.

Wonderful unexpected find in a part of Cumbria that is beautiful but with fewer tea/coffee shops than further westwards. The coffee van was as pretty as a country fair stall, right on Langwathby village green. Excellent coffee, and we took away our sausage bap for lunch up at Long Meg stone circle. Cheerful and friendly service, and much needed toilets available adjacent in village hall (this lovely area is a public toilet desert and I don't do hedgerows)

Very good takeaway coffee. On our way into the Penrith Museum we passed this coffee ‘van’. The Museum didn’t mind us taking our drinks in as we looked around. A perfect pick-me up on a wet morning!

Visited this morning with our dog we both had the full English breakfast it was really tasty and filling quality bacon and sausages the staff are so friendly and made us and our dog feel welcome definitely worth a visit.

Brilliant food and fantastic people

Stopped off for breakfast as we were staying in Shap. Warm and friendly greeting to us and our dogs. Superb quality breakfast cooked fresh to order! Highly recommended

Stopped in for lunch and what a treat. Our food was delicious, the space is charming and the owner Simon was a joy to chat with. We will definitely pop in next time we are in Penrith.

The BEST sausage bap I have ever eaten, and I have eaten many! Delicious homemade chips too! Quality ingredients and very reasonable prices.

Proper nice country pub, friendly and welcoming, the food is bang on (we had 2x soup & 2 steak n Guinness pies .... yum) beer is spot on too, specially the Black Sheep .... while Jayne loved the Gins....nice big beer garden at rear. The rooms where spot on and all dog friendly...bed ready comfortable (slept well)....breakfast 2x full English with toast n coffee really nice sausages n bacon, eggs ... all cooked to perfection. Honestly can't fault place at all.....hell even the village is lovely and the walk up n round Greystoke castle is spot on. Good stop before walking to Keswick on the old railway line, which has no toilets. Bus stop nearby.

Love this place! Had quiche of the day and the hubby had the steak burger, all delicious. Got the table in the back corner with the beautiful views too!
