Stopped off for breakfast as we were staying in Shap. Warm and friendly greeting to us and our dogs. Superb quality breakfast cooked fresh to order! Highly recommended

Visited on what should have been a busy Friday morning at the end of half term week. Cafe was very quiet. Pity, because it’s a great place that deserves lots of customers! Excellent coffee, lovey scones. Haven’t tried the food but there’s a big menu to choose from. Well worth diverting the short distance to/ from M6 J39 and avoid motorway services!

Great stop on the C2C walk. Very walker friendly and served delicious brunch and coffee. Probably the best cafe I visited during my 190 mile walk.

My heart feels warm after visiting here! Two of the loveliest ladies served and looked after us and I cannot thank them enough. Visited solo with a dog and baby in a pram feeling worried about being in the way or taking up space. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable for our breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and, as a new mom, the anxiety of being out on my own was completely taken away. Not to mention breakfast was fantastic- some of the best hash browns I've ever had! If you can visit this place you definitely should. I hope to return again when back up this way. Kindness costs nothing but means everything- thank you so much!

Very good takeaway coffee. On our way into the Penrith Museum we passed this coffee ‘van’. The Museum didn’t mind us taking our drinks in as we looked around. A perfect pick-me up on a wet morning!

Stopped in for lunch and what a treat. Our food was delicious, the space is charming and the owner Simon was a joy to chat with. We will definitely pop in next time we are in Penrith.
