Friendly local bar serving fine wine local beers, ciders and ales and guest beers and ales from around the U.K. excellent gin selection and Whiskeys too. Quiz night on Tuesday! Great for meeting friends and used often by cycling groups as they pass through! Opened in July/August 2022 and has served the community well. Dog friendly and children too. Recent addition is some Cheshire farm ice cream which is a favourite for the children during the hot weather. Well worth popping in for a pint of three and for the wine drinkers there is a good selection of fine wines.

First visit for us, called in late afternoon. The BOSS had cappuccino plus cake , French tart, I had the all day breakfast and a tart to go . The food is all vegan and very tasty. My breakfast was delish, the BOSS said her tart was also delish. The food is all made fresh on the premises. Great variety of cakes that all looked fab. Its a really nice place , quite quirky with a modern vibe , there is locally made pottery that you can buy. Light airy decor comfortable seating. Service was excellent, really friendly helpful staff. We will be back.

I’ve been to daisy doodahs a few times now and it’s been a wonderful experience each time. The staff are friendly and efficient, it’s a cosy little patisserie and the cakes are to die for! I would definitely recommend a coffee and cake visit if you haven’t been before. Their sandwiches/panini’s are relish too!!

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping down Smithdown Road when we decided to drop into Dirty Nellies Pub ,a really popular pub down this party street. We track and traced, sanitised our hands and we were allocated a table, I knew walking in I would enjoy my visit here, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport, great decor and furnishings throughout including vintage beer enamels adorning the walls, there's also plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub,its just a really good pub. A very pleasant member of the bar team took our order of a beer each, we chose Sharps Brewery " Atlantic pale ale " and these were served in excellent condition, we just kicked back and took in the great pub we were in while sipping our pale ale's. My pale ale was really good, a crisp, well balanced pale ale with a big hit of hops, hints of toffee and a delicious aroma, a classic British pale ale indeed, the bar staff in here certainly know how to keep and serve a good real ale. We both really enjoyed our pale ale's in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to Dirty Nellies Pub we had a great time. Dirty Nellies Pub is easy to locate along Smithdown Road, a road and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday, 11am till 11pm. Friday & Saturday, 11am till Midnight. Sunday,11am till 11pm. A wonderful pub, most definitely a pub I highly recommend you visit if you're in the area.

While the pub can seem a little empty in places don't let that fool you! The staff were really friendly, everyone was having a great time. They have pool and darts and a fair selection of drinks. Music was pumping and laughter lifted our spirits. Definitely worth a pint or two if you're in the area

On a short four day break in Lancaster my twin brother Stephen and I jumped the train from Liverpool Lime Street Station,we had to jump a connecting train from Preston Railway Station and with time to kill we dropped into Beer House ,a wonderful station bar that was just a joy to visit. The bar has a cosy interior ,dark wood features, pubby decor and furnishings ,a solid wood serving bar and plenty of seating options ,it's just a great bar. We were greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff,we ordered beers which were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling,we just kicked back and looked forward to our trip to Lancaster while sipping our beers. Beers served in here were really good ,light, hoppy and very refreshing and as an added bonus good value for money. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on to catch our train and for a first time visit to Beer House we were totally impressed. Beer House is easy to locate on the platform of Preston Railway Station, most definitely well worth checking out if your in the station.
