What an absolute gem of a cafe. Lovely staff, great food and perfect cup of coffee. As expected with fresh food there can be a bit of a delay with the food, but definitely worth the wait.

A very relaxed and friendly space to visit solo for the first time. My pot of tea came with plenty of milk for a second cup and the tea blend, house tea suited me well. The Bakewell slice was excellent, fresh and not too huge. Some cafes have ridiculously large cakes and bakes and as I was on my own I wouldn't have had anyone to share it with it it was huge. Extremely good value. I was made very welcome by staff and attended to promptly. It definitely felt like a Christian Community space . Toilets were clean and new. Thankyou to all the staff, especially Conor.

We've been wanted to come here with our children for months, but never quite managed to find the time. Finally we made it and we were not disappointed. There's disabled accessibility and disabled toilets, unisex toilets as well as a children's play area. Cash and card payment is accepted. It's a really great cafe, a true hidden gem. The food is excellent value for money, freshly made to order, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Highly recommend...we are definitely revisiting.

My twin brother and I were exploring around this part of the city when we decided to drop by The Runner Duck Wine Room and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here interior is cool, its only small but superb, light and airy, lovely decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options, it's just a great bar to chill out in. We ordered a cheese and ham board each plus white wines ,wines were served cold and sparkling and cheese and hams were totally delicious, absolutely fantastic, its hardly surprising that this bar is so popular with wines and food of this quality, add to this the great staff and you have a great bar. We moved on after our wines, cheese and ham ,had a great time, can't wait to go again next time we're in Lancaster. The Runner Duck Wine Room is easy to locate along King Street. Opening hours are; Monday, closed. Tuesday to Thursday, open from 4pm. Friday, open from 2pm. Saturday & Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

A very high bar compared to other restaurants! It was our first taste of Greek cuisine and we were very, very satisfied. Wonderful owner! Freshly cut flowers and a candle in a vase on the table. Everything is bright, clean and tidy! The service is kind and genuinely interested - Offers the best meal for everyone! Also for a vegan! The food is fresh, healthy and amazingly delicious! We are excited about Greek cuisine! Would definitely be regulars if we lived nearby! Now I want to have dinner here every night! Thank you for doing such a wonderful job giving people SUCH JOY!

Can’t fault anything about lunch today. We had a Jacket Potato each from the Specials board, Caramelised Onion, Peas, Sausage and cheese, topped with Crispy Onions and Gravy , the picture doesn’t do it justice, was very good and the kids had Jacket Potato with Cheese and Beans and Chicken Strips, again both very good. Staff were great and very clean and well run and can see why it gets busy.
