Love this place. Fresh ingredients, well cooked and presented. Wide choice of food, including breakfasts, salads, panini, and sharing platters, with lovely coffees, although there’s also wine, beer and Prosecco. Prompt friendly service. Highly recommend!

Called in one Sunday for lunch and was made very welcome. The interior is bright, modern and very clean. We sat inside although tables are available outside if you prefer. Good selection of Italian beers, wines coffee etc together with deserts. We chose an Italian meat platter which was excellent and a generous portion served with breads, a balsamic dip, olives etc. My wife chose a cheese and mushroom omelette which she said was also excellent. Can not recommend this highly enough and much better to support local independent businesses than certain chains which do not provide the friendly service you get here. A must visit.

Found this place after going to Formby beach, the food was amazing and the staff very friendly. Would 100% recommend. I had a prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato and basil panini and it was absolutely gorgeous. They also catered to our dog, giving us a bowl of water and 2 sausages. Next time we are in Formby we will be straight back and won’t even bother looking anywhere else!

I've reviewed this place in the past and thought I'd bring you up to date. It's still brilliant. The coffee is top notch and I usually have one of their excellent Cannoli. There is a choice of seating with some outdoor tables which, being under glass, mean that you don't have to worry about the vagaries of the British weather.

What a fab find, Formby has some really nice cafes now and this one is another little gem, it's so tough for bars pubs and cafes to operate with all of the restrictions in place but this has not stopped Coopers from giving you a lovely experience. The Cafe is run by a local couple so you get a really friendly welcome a brill service. My friend and I sat outside in front of the café which is no bother as the cloisters has a glass canopy, we had breakfast paninis and the coffer was top notch, I would defiantly go there again probably in the afternoon and have a cheeky beer. They are now doing home deliveries so its nice to support our local businesses through these hard times.

Great service and lovely food at a great price. Owners could not do more and we will return. Their coffee was excellent as well, an improvement on the two big chains nearby !

Jen and David welcomed us with our little boy, and were really accommodating, bringing him special toddler-friendly drinks and food not on their menu, and making a fuss of him. They manage this place exceptionally well - beautiful decor in the loo, all brand new furniture and kept really clean, and even though they're a small cafe, they have kept things spaced out and COVID-safe. My husband and I shared a board of italian meats, cheeses and warm breads, which came with some delicious balsamic vinegar and even a pot of fresh fruit. It looked and tested gorgeous. They even had little round italian savoury biscuits which we'd not had before, but loved. It's lovely having the covered area outside the shop, because our little lad could run around to his heart's content, with no fear of cars, and would be kept dry if it rained. They have an extensive wine menu, and loads of knowledge about italian food. I'm sure it'll do very well with evenings as well as lunches. Most of all, this young couple were so friendly, and attentive, checked on us frequently and brought extra bits and bobs, and really put themselves out to help us enjoy their delicious speciality food in comfort. We wish them all the best!

Myself and my fiancée visited for a quick bite to eat on my birthday. He had an omelette which looked and tasted lovely. I had a panini which was also nice. The peach bellini was lovely and a nice little place to go for a relaxed bite to eat.

We visit this hidden gem for coffee and cake. The style is that of an Italian cafe/bar. We find the coffee very good and have a penchant for their cannoli.

We went to Southport on a new year's break. We found the Wellington by accident while looking for somewhere to watch the world darts on TV. It really is a gem of a local pub and the staff were so accommodating to us. Plenty of good beer including craft ale hand pulls at extremely reasonable prices. Thanks guys, highly recommended.

Just had an excellent bacon, sausage and cheese toastie (with chilli sauce); and a goats cheese, pesto, tomato and rocket focaccia. Best quality in Ainsdale! And loads of goodies on the shelves.

Went for brunch. Took a while to decide what to choose as there are so many things to choose from. I had the corned beef hash with spicy beans,.. my mother had a mushroom omelette. Both were piping hot an delicious. Will definitely call in again before I leave the area.

Ordered a breakfast wrap & it was delicious the wrap was big enough to hold entire filling in place.. no dripping or unfolding which would cause a messy eat. Fast delivery & food hot on arrival will absolutely order from flight 22 again well done guys & thank you :)
