First time visit to the Lunch Hour. Sausage roll was delish also bought a loaf of bread which was the nicest bread I have tasted in a long time. Will definitely go back and would highly recommend. They also do sandwiches, salads, pork cakes and more...such a good selection

Called in for pork pies as they had been recommended. Did not disappoint. Best I've had in ages. Staff, service brilliant. Will be back for more

We selected The Lunch Hour to provide a buffett for my father in laws wake. Marc and his team did a fantastic job catering for over 100 of our guests. The food was delicious; beautifully prepared as well as presented. Highly recommended.

Good lunchtime sandwich shop, plenty of options including good sized wraps. Only issue is cost, its fairly expensive!

The Lunch Hour did the catering for a family funeral. They were really very helpful. Whilst we were at the service they set everything up so we came home to a really lovely spread and didn’t have to worry about dishes etc as they provided recyclable plates / packaging. Food was excellent and really good value. I would recommend their catering service.

The food never disappoints here. Always fresh and delicious. But what is really nice is the staff in there are always so friendly, particularly the owners. They are speedy, smiley and friendly.

I have loved every morsel I’ve ever gotten from this place! Seriously great food. My only disappointment is that they don’t do the Christmas dinner baguettes year round but that’s completely understandable 😋🐷

Was working nearby and needed a quick lunch. Ordered the large salad box, very fresh ingredients, tasty and reasonable prices. Probably didn’t need the large. Highly recommend. Had a nice selection of sandwiches to choose from with brown or white baguettes. Definitely be back again.

Always had good food here lots of choice and tailor to what you want. Portion size change depending on who is serving you but always nice and tasty. My go to lunch place if I need something quick to eat.

My husband and I are working from home more regularly and thought we would try popping out to The Lunch Hour one day. We couldn't believe the amount of choice, it was fantastic they do all kinds and the prices are good. The staff are friendly, helpful and work really well together as a team. We will be getting our lunches here more regularly from now on.

I booked Marc and Danielle to cater for my dad's funeral last week. They certainly helped to celebrate his life with an amazing buffet. I went for the £8.50 Buffet, with hot food, cake and a few extras. The food and presentation was beautiful. Amongst the feedback from family and friends was that they have never tasted such fresh sandwiches in a lovely variety, the sausage rolls were the best tasting ever, the beef Scouse was gorgeous, the bread rolls were lovely, the chicken tenders were amazing, the chicken Caesar salad was delicious, infact everything on the table had a good comment said. Then there were the cakes. Black forest gateau (delicious), Victoria and chocolate sponge cakes, both equally delicious. Very light and airy with fresh cream, but the strawberry cheesecake was in a league of it's own, absolutely amazing. I've picked up lunchtime food here a few times, but their buffet surpassed my expectations. Thank you Marc and team for a wonderful buffet, we certainly didn't let my dad down, he would have loved it.

Marc and his team prepared a beautiful reception for us and delivered and laid it all out for us. We chose the £8.50 menu for 30 people, there was tons to eat, beautifully displayed, very fresh, super varied selection. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Been going here a few years. Am a housebound/bedridden lady who relies on LH pasta boxes for my nutrients when son is too poorly himself, to cook. They always go above and beyond. So polite and caring and helpful. They are also good with my autistic son. Food is yummy. Funny thing is I get surrounded by four cats all wanting some of it. One even likes the pasta! I just hope they don’t tell their friends or I will have a line out the door! Their cakes are yummy too. And they rectify errors no questions asked 👍🏻

A great place for the freshest sandwiches. All sandwiches are made to order using fresh ingredients. Delivery is available but ring early during the busy lunchtime as the place is rammed and the delivery driver goes as fast as he can.

Always stop off and grab lunch with these guys if I'm ever in Formby!! Absolutely fabulous place and all the guys at The Lunch Hour are great!!! Been here a few times but only left one review!!!

Can we all just take a minute to appreciate how full the sandwich picture I posted is... you won’t get that at Tesco! The food at Formby Lunch hour is always extremely fresh, well prepared and hot were it needs to be. Can not fault this place! Even when I go in with an order that isn’t on the menu they have no issue knocking it up for me.

We have used the Lunch Hour for a number of family / house parties. The service is great, very attentive and timely. The food is excellent, lovely sandwiches, great curries etc. Also very good value for money. We will use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as a caterer.

I often come here for the sandwhich's. The staff go out their way to help all the time. A great place.

No pasa una hora donde la hora del almuerzo no está muy concurrido. Siempre que me he conducido el pasado a la hora de la comida hay una cola de salida de la puerta, el sándwiches recién hechos y platos abundantes son un favorito local de la chaqueta clásica a través de patata más delicados platos como un pollo y bacon pasta o chiles! En general, si tienes prisa en su almuerzo y necesita comer algo, sabes donde llamar!

Trabajar en el festival medieval en el Gildhall y olvide mi almuerzo. Siendo novia no podría haber las hamburguesas y bollos en el evento. Este lugar fue en la misma calle y recomendado. Fuimos y descubrimos una verdadera joya! Impecable, el personal es amable y servicial y la comida es excelente. Compramos una patata chaqueta con pollo y bacon mayo con ensalada por £4. Muy sabroso, con una buena porción y recién hechas. No puedo recomendar lo suficiente!

All I can say is that it's the best place to get a brunch / lunch take away and for outside catering you can't beat them the food is lovely and fresh and tasty. The staff are lovely friendly and helpful well done Marc and Danielle fabulous !!

Instead of buying a meal deal get a homemade sandwich filled with quality food. Very obliging and can be ordered in advance.

Great butty bar and friendly staff. Quality ingredients and tasty as well. Just on the main road, so easy to park and stop for a quick pick up. Why bother making your own?

Used these guys to provide our wedding breakfast. Couldn't be happier with all they did for us. Everyone loved the food and service was excellent. Would highly recommend their services and will certainly be using them again.
