Very dog friendly and very nice coffee

Great place. Good coffee, nice cakes. Some home cooked lunch dishes as well as the usual sandwiches. Can get busy when schools turn out. Limited parking directly outside but plenty in surrounding streets. Friendly staff. Recommended.

Have been going here for quite a while now and everything is great - food, coffee and staff. The coffee is one of the best in Formby. Food is limited but that's actually good because it's always consistent and lovely. Staff are always pleasant and polite and get the order right. Can't recommend it enough.

I come from Mexico for the sausage rolls. Seriously, don't eat my sausage rolls people! Love this place <3

Enjoyed a lovely coffee and some toast with a friend after an early walk on the beach. Nice outside seating area dogs welcome. Polite and friendly staff. A little gem.

QRS is a great cafe. The staff always do their best to make it welcoming - whether it's turning on the heaters in the garden or helping out keeping the kids happy. We love popping in for a little drink 🍷 and some gingerbread and ice cream. There's space outside for kids to stretch out a bit and it's dog friendly. It's a gem in the area.

Such a great cafe. Our children always feel really special when we visit, the owner and the regulars are always friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend!

Only just discovered this little gem last week and have been back 3 times 😂 really cosy inside with superb food….the sausage rolls are to die for. Staff super pleasant and outside very dog friendly with special dog treats being brought out. Highly recommend

Really nice independent coffee spot not far from Formby station but away from the village. Queens Road is a beautifully decorated location with a good selection of snacks (the millionaire flapjack is amazing!) and sandwiches and some tasty coffees. The latte art was lacking (aka no existant) when we visited, which would kick this up to 5 stars otherwise. Highchairs were available and there's plenty of parking right outside.

Outdoor sitting is so nice. Whole garden got it's magic. Green tea was really good quality. This cafe offers coffee, teas, cakes, pastries and even selected alcohol. Certain dishes of food are also available. Everyone in the café was friendly and helpful.

Stopped in with two friends after a long walk - Had two sandwiches and a feta salad and they were delicious! Great value for money and the staff were a delight. Sat in the garden surrounded by nice plants and couldn't resist a malteser millionaire shortbread on the way out. Seemed like pets were welcome and they had blankets for the cold. No complaints!

The food was really delicious, tasty. The staff were extremely nice and very attentive. The outside is dog friendly and although it wasn't overly cold they turned heaters on for us. The garden space is very pleasant.

Food was nice staff friendly only couple of downsides small menu choices & also we had to sit outside with our little dog on a cold miserable day which was why we didn’t stay long can’t really understanding why dogs can’t go inside as there are no carpets only hard floors and I have heard sometimes dog are allowed in so should be same rule for everyone we go to lux37, Harrington rd cafe & woodys as dogs are allowed indoors maybe if this changes with queens road we’d go again

Exactly what the area needed. Excellent prices for what you get. Just a shame they pick and choose what dogs are allowed inside.

Looked really nice but hot drinks were very expensive for the amount you get. Would probably visit again but wasn’t convinced by the drink sizes.

Best rosé I think I have ever tasted outside of Bourgogne, friendly staff and sun till gone 7pm what more could you ask for? Well they cater for gluten free too 👍 won't be long before I visit again.

Called in to have a look at the QRS had a few tins of cold Mersey Beer...sitting in the sun with some friends ...Nice. Very nice Beer garden .
