Nice area and friendly service with pleasant decor. But very disappointed they were unable to serve a soya latte due to the lack of real coffee and soya milk.

My mum and I had the afternoon tea and it was fabulous

We go to Sun Shine regularly as it is amazing. Last Saturday our daughter took my husband and I there for the BEST afternoon tea I have ever had. Could not fault anything. The food is all home made and the staff are exemplary. I would love Mother's Day once a month please🤔 Lorna Hughes, Crosby xxx

Limited menu, food and venue nothing special and very very over priced. All agreed we wouldn’t return because we could get much better value for money elsewhere.

Ii came for the afternoon tea last week with friends to celebrate my birthday.I have been to the tea rooms several times for lunch so thought I would try the afternoon tea after reading good reviews. It really was lovely with a good selection of sandwiches delicious cake's and scone served with Jam and cream plus Tea and coffee all served on nice china at a very reasonable price of 20 pound each . Will definitely be back for afternoon tea

This is a brilliant, relaxed venue with a really good atmosphere. I was here with a couple of friends and we had a nice lunch.

Delicious food in lovely surroundings, the whole family thoroughly enjoyed the 'afternoon tea', so well presented, excellent service and always with a smile ~ can't wait to visit again x highly recommended to anyone looking for a afternoon delight to remember x

10/10!! Superb afternoon tea - I have plenty of dietary requirements and nothing was too much trouble. The bread was so fresh and the scones and cakes utterly delicious - first time visit, but we'll be back!

Went the other day for Christmas menu lunch roast dinner was terrible meat cold veg overcooked for money disgusting dessert was better not normal standard of food and for price disgusting

Very basic ordered and blt got 2 low cost rounds off bread 2 rashers off bacon lettice and tomato shop bought coleslaw and some crisps very over price for what you get at over £7. Not much for vegetarians aswell

This is a lovely venue for coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. The restaurant is light, bright and attractive. The staff are welcoming and the food is beautifully prepared, nicely presented and delicious. I've been several times and will continue to visit. Highly recommended but book to avoid disappointment.

Spotlessly clean and excellent food that is served in a professional, yet friendly, manner. Well worth a visit.

We called in and although they were very busy we did get a table for two. I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich which was made with bread from a local bakery, delicious and very fresh. Mum had the soup of the day with a lovely fresh roll. There was a long table of ladies, a knit and natter group I think. All the other tables were taken , staff were welcoming and friendly and there was a very pleasant atmosphere . There’s a bookshelf with books you can borrow, or take home if you replace with another book. This would be a fantastic venue for a private party. Thank you Sunshine Tearoom, we enjoyed our visit today!

Visited for lunch. Red pepper soup was delicious. Polished it off with equally delicious cakes. Great little place

My friend and I only popped in for a coffee, so I can't comment on the food. However, everything we saw people having looked very nice. We will definitely go back and try something, the afternoon teas looked really good. The surroundings are very suited to a Tea Room and felt comfortable.

I attended an 80th birthday celebration of afternoon tea. The food was excellent well presented. The atmosphere was perfect and in total just amazing place to hold a celebration. Would highly recommend

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea on Tue with my sisters at Sunshine Tearooms. I've had several afternoon teas in various locations, but this was the best by far! The sandwiches had plenty of filling and the bread was nice and fresh, with a nice touch of crisps and homemade coleslaw! The cakes and scones were also delicious and again homemade. Our teapots were also replenished without us having to ask. Kay and her team were very busy, but made time to chat to us and made us very welcome! We would highly recommend and will be returning soon!! Thanks again x

Lovely venue. Went there for afternoon tea and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nicely presented with China plates, cups and saucers. Sandwiches were very tasty and there was a good selection, and were served with salad. Scones were freshly baked and very tasty and there was a good selection of cakes to finish. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go again

Lovely little place for tea or an easy lunch. We went for lunch but found that it was actually quite busy and it would have been best to book beforehand! Luckily they managed to squeeze us in and we had to make sure to give the table back before a certain time (which was fine). I would definitely recommend reserving beforehand just in case as it seems quite popular. Afternoon tea looks very good too (not too many cakes) and affordable!

The soup was delicious the blt sandwich also tasty. £9 for soup n sandwich. Good value. Sorta expected maybe thick sliced nicer quality bread? Thats just me. The jam n cream scone was I thought a tad expensive at £5 for one. and £2.90 for a mug of tea. Nice surroundings. I would return again.

Excellent choices of breakfast dishes on the menu. All very fresh, nicely presented but without unnecessary fuss. We have visited several times and always been impressed by the quality and value.

Booked for afternoon tea with family members. Absolutely lovely. Good selection of tasty, super fresh sandwiches and then cakes!! Beautiful room decoration and lovely staff. Very impressed. Then went outside to allow little one to play, ordering extra drinks. Perfect place for anyone, but especially fabulous for those with children with massive outside play area with equipment. Fantastic afternoon tea. The sandwiches had lots of tasty filling, the scone( with cream and jam) was so light and scrummy. There was also a macaron which melted in the mouth, an incredibly mini chocolate cake and lemon drizzle cake, that was soaked in lemon syrup. The staff were lovely and the venue is clean and bright. I will definitely be returning.

Absolutely beautiful Gem of a find. SunShine Rooms is such a fresh, friendly place with a delightful menu and kind staff. The gardens are equipped for families and it really is a wonderful place to visit. I woukd recommend you call to book a table though so not to be disappointed. I'd highly recommend a visit. Clean bright menu good value for money.

Excellent venue for private parties, venue hires and entertainment, to small party gatherings, couples and friends. There is a food and drinks menu available, seating for 30+, toilets, and car parking available.

It's really relaxing and well run with lovely staff. It would be better uf they served some gluten free options.

Visited yesterday for the first time with my mum. Lovely, bright and cheerful tea room. Staff all friendly, welcoming and efficient. I normally have difficulty finding cafes which serve a decent cup of coffee – Sunshine tea room certainly passed the test ! so that’s a great plus for me. The cakes were fresh and tasty and hygienically, were either stored in the fridge or under dome covers – another very impressive point and so important, especially nowadays. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning in future. Thank you

Went today for the first time certainly will not be my last what a little gem ,first class staff the menu was lovely I had cheese on toast and the nicest Lemmon drizzle cake I have tasted , next time I will have salad and jacket potato , and of course cake

If you've never been.....then what are you waiting for?! It's a lovely, welcoming and friendly atmosphere - and the staff are all fab too! As for the food.....there's a great choice of breakfast and lunch menu.....and the afternoon tea is well recommended! Lovely home made cakes....what more do you need!! Anyway - get yourself along there (but ring to book in if possible!)

Really enjoyed our visit. A lovely atmosphere, chic decor and comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and gave excellent service. The refreshments were delicious and presented so well with charming crockery. A hidden gem, definitely worth a visit.

We were looking to find somewhere to have a coffee & possibly lunch when we happened upon the Sunshine Tea room. The food was very tasty and the cake amazing. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very efficient. The tearoom itself was comfortable with pleasant décor & furnishings. What a wonderful place they have created. It is obviously a community hub, were groups meet, with cosy corners and plenty of space. I would be a daily visitor if I lived closer but we were just passing through...however we will definitely pay anther visit when next we are in the vicinity again. Thank you to the lovely staff for looking after us so well.

This was my second time in this lovely tea rooms. But first for the afternoon tea it was really good value for money. Everything was extremely fresh and very tasty. Especially the scones they were very light and warm really lovely. The staff are very nice and friendly. Would definitely go again. I would say booking is recommended as both times I’ve been it’s been busy.

Without doubt this tea room does the best afternoon tea we have tasted. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They are usually very busy so make sure you book so as not to be disappointed. PS their scones are the best!!!!

Didn't realize this excellent tearoom existed despite driving past it many times. It's bright,comfortable and welcoming. The coffee is possibly the best I've had . Staff very good as well.

Went for breakfast on a first time visit. A most welcome reception was followed by a delicious meal and an excellent cup of coffee (or two) within a clean and most comfortable setting. Took my mum with dementia to the SunShine Tea Rooms in Ince Blundell. Tina & Janet were so lovely, engaging and kind to mum. they were happy to continue to chat and sing along with her even though the cafe had closed. Visited today with family members. Lovely, warm welcoming cafe. Scones are the best - ever. Toast served hot with enough butter. Attention to detail, staff who listen and table activities like Domino’s and Scrabble. Plus the Paper. The Friday entertainer is a lovely idea. Will definitely be back. Congratulations to all involved in providing one of the most welcoming and well thought out cafes we have visited. Will try and work out if we can get there for Christmas Lunch. Well done.

I have had the pleasure of visiting the Sunshine Tea Rooms on a number of occasions now. It's a beautifully decorated place with a bright, warm and friendly atmosphere. Staff are very attentive. I have tried a few different options from the menu and have found each item really tasty(highly recommend the BLT) and the food is beautifully presented. All Sandwiches come with a serving of coleslaw, side salad and some nachos. Good onsite parking with plenty of spaces and it is set in a lovely area. Great little play area onsite too for the little ones to visit before or after a bite to eat. Can't wait to visit again...will definitely have to try the cake...although it will be hard to decide what to have as they all look delicious!
