Took my Mum for lunch, food was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful, would definitely be going back.

Had eggs benedict with avocado & black coffee. Also Veg breakfast & tea for my friend. All tasted good, good service, friendly and popular. I saw people come to the window and leave as no space. Customers v accomodating re: space however!

Went for breakfast as we woke up to a power cut again had a lovely time and a nice hot cup of tea.

We're local and here often. By far the best full English around Southport, their milkshakes are pretty special too ❤️ and their customer service really sets a high bar!

Well.... that was blumin tasty 😍 Me and little man stopped into Cambridge road cafe today while out on his rollerboots. It was pretty much full, with tables reserved but we were lucky that someone was leaving so managed to squeeze us in 😊 We where served by the lovely Lauren 🙌 she was super friendly 😊 and had a quick chat with us even tho it was busy 🙂 Leo ordered off the kids menu (there was a really nice variety on the kids menu, not just the usual nuggets or sausage) he opted for the kids breakie, butter separate. I couldn't resist the eggs benedict. Both came hot and relatively quickly even tho Lauren had let us know it was busy with a few checks on. They tasted phenomenal 😋 😍 🙌 the bacon and sausage where the stand out components for me (yeps... I had to try a little bit of Leo's just so I could let you guys know how good it was 😂) but there wasn't a thing on my plate I didn't enjoy. Just have a nosey at that egg clip to see how perfectly poached it was! And I'm not sure what the seasoning was on my order but it really elevated the hollandaise to a whole next level. To drink we had a decafe tea (in a proper pot), 7up and fresh apple juice. It came to £20.90 which I think is very reasonable. Pro tip make sure you book if you don't want to be disappointed. All in all a solid 9/10 only dropping a mark as I've tried there a couple of times in the past and not been able to get a table 😂 (so my fault really for not booking!) I'll defo be back x

This is a lovely, family run cafe with friendly staff. It has everything you want on a menu that has something for everyone. I'm vegan, so I was happy to see some dishes suitable for me. A full breakfast or a salad if I'm feeling healthier. The coffee is fab & it's a popular place with a great atmosphere. It can seem busy, but I like that as it's a good vibe & service is always quick. When I'm in Churchtown it's my go to place & I'm never disappointed. Throughly recommended!

A wet Bank Holiday Monday became more cheerful after an excellent breakfast and coffee. I'm a regular visitor to this cafe but this is my first review. Food is always carefully prepared and tastes very good. Best scrambled egg this side of Jupiter and the toast with marmalade hits the spot. The staff are friendly and helpful and the menu prices very reasonable for the quality of food. It feels a homely, welcoming place. Good music too that does not spoil conversation.

Four of us stopped off on our Cycle Ride for Coffee & Cake, staff were friendly amd the order was served quickly even though they were reasonably busy.

This place may look like just another local cafe but don't be fooled. The food is meticulous and absolutely delicious. Even something as seemingly simple as their avocado toast is better than any I've had in Sydney or LA or London or NYC. Impeccable. Delicious. 🏆🏆🏆

Lovely coffee amd cake, but got a 2 take away coffees last and the cups were only half full, very disappointed conciderinh the price. Won't be going back there.

Popped in for a coffee and a piece of cake which we really enjoyed. Also had a quick look at the breakfast/brunch menu and that looked good to. Will definitely be returning soon to sample the brunch.

Lovely little cafe and bar.The latte was delish.We didn't order food, but what we saw being served looked fantastic.The staff are warm and friendly.The place must be popular as we have arrived it has slowly filled up.On review of menu the dearest item was £9.There is a good selection, from breakfast and lunch menu.We plan to come back for breakfast.

Quick visit to Cambridge rd cafe and had a very nice prawn & avocado salad with nice chips.Breakfast/brunch menu looks good with Eggs Benedict ext.Nothing fancy but a nice lunch,will visit again,,good value not to expensive

Found an absolute gem, had the avocado on toast with tomato and chilli sauce it was divine. Unfortunately I ate it too fast and forgot to take a photo. Can’t wait to come back again would highly recommend it. Being Vegan it’s so good to find fresh food served so well.

Lovely place which is nicely decorated and clean. Good selection of food on the menu when we visited for brunch, including vegetarian and vegan options. Food was delicious, although the service was a let down. No acknowledgment when we arrived or sat down. Had to get up after 5 mins or so and ask if we could order even though we were the only people in there! The girls working there were polite when they spoke but we did feel a bit unwelcome, which is a shame as the food and drinks were great.

We have eaten twice in this cafe and the food is excellent as is the coffee.The light breakfast was composed of top quality sausage, bacon and egg. It is a quirky space with friendly staff.

It was busy and had to wait, but it was a good sign as the staff were great and got us a table as soon as they could, the decor was great, the kids loved the stools made from old bikes, and the full English was great so would assume the rest is too!

A good cyclist cafe with some outside seating. Great soup and coffee. Friendly staff. UPDATE November 2017: the cafe has now changed hands with cyclists somewhat less well catered for.

Consistently good food and pleasant service. Caters very well for cyclists but is also clearly popular with many people there who aren't riding and just want a bite to eat. Reasonable prices and good coffee.
