Food excellent. Variety of food available, perfect for breakfast after overnight flight. Farm fresh eggs that had awesome orange yolk! Good caffeinated coffee and tea because a must after arriving at 3:30 am (NY time). Service very good and friendly. Order was promptly taken, and quickly delivered. Bathroom clean.

My husband and I visited for brunch today and what a little gem this coffee shop is. The staff were friendly and service was excellent. The food was delicious and they make a mean oat milk cappuccino! Will definitely be returning.

A great cafe to stop at for a light snack whilst out walking or something more substantial if you wish. Poached eggs on granary toast is good. Pot of tea for one gives two full cups. Great range of cakes etc my friend swears by the sausage rolls. Very nice people running it. Excellent value. If in Disley take a break, do your taste buds a favour, and call in.

I visit most weeks as the food here is superb and top quality. Everything is homemade by Cath and served with a smile and a chat by Steve. There is usually a freshly made soup on offer, this week was mushroom and tarragon or butternut squash and parsnip accompanied by buttered granary bread. There is usually a homemade quiche, my favourite being the spinach, ricotta and pine nut. There is also the usual breakfast sandwiches and panini offerings. And of course the amazing home baked cakes such as red velvet, coffee and walnut, brownies, scones and sausage rolls to name but a few. The portions are extremely generous and I would highly recommend a visit to this lovely family run cafe whether for a quick Illy coffee to take away or reserve a table for the fabulous afternoon tea. Today was breakfast with family, fantastic as always!

We called here for morning coffee and a snack before a local walk. Our first visit but we hope to be back. The service was friendly and efficient, the coffee was great and the scones were just as we like them and all good value. The cakes and savoury bakes looked good for another time.

Picked up sausage rolls and some Rocky road slices for a day out walking in Lyme park. Really tasty and exactly what was needed after a few hours wandering around. Good cup of coffee too which got us started this morning. All the baked goods on their counter looked absolutely delicious, wish we had picked up some more!

Cannot recommend this cafe enough . Used as a stop off between the Lake District and Bakewell . Excellent service, accommodating with the tables for a party of six . Home made soup was perfect and the rest of my groups lunches all looked lovely and everyone was pleased . Even took away some cakes for later. The staff had even looked up how long we had left on our travels and organised to split the bill for us all. Nothing seemed too much trouble . Definitely give it a go

We had a couple of drinks and a Bakewell slice and brownie, home-made I think. Both lovely and very tasty. Thank you.

Great food and service. A bit busy but maybe that’s because everyone else has discovered how good this place is. Breakfast is to die for. Great food, well cooked, quickly served and perfectly priced – what’s not to like.

Have been here a few times, and it is always delightful. A cute, traditional village cafe in the heart of Disley, the food is wholesome and tasty. A simple yet effective arrry of different foods, all lovingly home-made. Staff are always very friendly, and the ambiance is cosy and relaxed. P.S: the rocky roads are absolutely to die for!!

Lovely afternoon tea for three. Two of us vegetarian but didn't feel like we missed out at all. Everything freshly prepared and friendly service - even after I got the time wrong and arrived 30 mins later than expected! Would recommend highly.

What a great place! The breakfast was excellent, the decor beautifully done with a mixture of themes and all the staff were fabulously cheerful and helpful. What’s not to like? Great to see an independent doing so well in these days of multinational chains. They have lots of regulars coming in and not surprising! Highly recommended! Thank you to you all.

We go to the tearooms often, but for the first time I had the smashed avocado for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. They were out of the sourdough bread but the wholemeal was just as good! And such good value, with the smiliest of young waitresses! They were very busy indeed, but we didn't have to wait long. An absolute gem in our village with Emma's delicious homemade cakes too! Super
