Después de que el grupo musical ("Owen’s Little Music Makers") baja por el pasillo, generalmente nos quedamos a almorzar. El personal es amable y el servicio servicial. Hay conexión inalámbrica a internet gratuita y un buen café, aunque por lo general tomo té de constructor en una taza.

Personal amable, sabrosa comida y pasteles. El café es excelente, al igual que todos los tés: té suelto servido en una olla. También tienen asientos al aire libre en su "jardín secreto", que es encantador en un día soleado. Gema oculta de Chorlton

Estado trabajando toda la mañana 2 pm - me sentí como té y pastel. Encontré The Dressing Room Cafe en línea aunque vivo a 2 minutos de distancia (¡secreto bien guardado!). Parte del teatro Edge al lado de la Iglesia en Chorlton (detrás de Lloyds Pub). Edificio interesante, muy limpio, luminoso, personal amable, selección de almuerzos y pasteles salados. Buen té Gente agradable allí, es decir, amantes de la tarta de mamá, abuela (como yo). Buen valor - sólo 5. Sin duda volveré a ir. Además, había muchas actividades relacionadas con el teatro y la música de las que no estaba al tanto. Debo apoyarlos ya que esto se ve bien y soy local.

Mi papá y yo vamos a almorzar todas las semanas. Jim, el chef tiene un menú innovador. Es un excelente cocinero. Regularmente tenemos sus excelentes sopas y ensaladas y nunca han dejado de ser deliciosas. Los pasteles son un poco diferentes y siempre encantadores y frescos. La ventaja adicional es que esto también es una organización benéfica, por lo que cada centavo que se gasta se destina a ayudar a administrar el centro. Es genial ver a los jóvenes enseñando servicio al cliente. En general, una experiencia encantadora con comida fabulosa. Gracias Jim y el personal! X

Good atmosphere, friendly, good coffee (even according to my Italian partner - and he’s very picky!) and nice cake. Also enough room for a pram.

We have enjoyed a couple of breakfasts at The Dressing Room cafe this past week. It is a lovely place, with attractive indoor and outdoor spaces. The cafe itself is located in a character church hall in Chorlton, and you enter it through the well kept garden to the side of the church. It is a clean, modern fit-out with high ceilings and plenty of tables. Outside, there are tables on the paving stones with beautiful hanging baskets and others on a small lawn area. The service is very friendly and everything is prepared and served promptly. As a keen breakfast-er, I was pleased to find what I was looking for here. On our first visit my husband and my daughter chose the Granola, fruit and yoghurt option while I had the most delicious porridge. On my second visit this week, my friend and I went for the toast and a toasted tea cake. Little touches like the jam coming out in a small glass rather than a plastic pottle (and the staff walking past and offering to refill it before I had even noticed it was getting low) made all the difference. The large hall alongside is a well-used facility and there are people coming and going to all sorts of activity here - drama, dance classes, children’s classes, plenty of vibrant activity. And if all that isn’t enough, the cafe also offers work and training opportunities for people who need that bit of extra support.

Visited for the first time, the food was great quality although I felt the salads were a little over-priced. They support people with learning difficulties to get work experience and you can join an annual pass scheme which then gives you a discount on hot drinks for the year. Great quality food and drinks with a good selection to cater for all tastes.

This is simply wonderful - fantastic food in a great setting with perfect friendly Northern service. Cannot recommend highly enough

A big shout out to the lovely people (and excellent food) at the Dressing Room. Alice, Emily, Marian and Jim do a wonderful job. The welcome is always warm and friendly (including for our 3 year old twin grandchildren) and the array of tempting food is irresistible - the finest quiches, frittatas, sandwiches and soups with equally high quality sandwiches and drinks. Your work and support for vulnerable adults and those with learning difficulties is absolutely brilliant. Can’t recommend highly enough - food for all tastes, including vegetarians and vegans.

I have been to this theatre on numerous occasions and I have to say the cafe is an absolute delight. With a warm inviting atmosphere and great food it is a destination not to be missed!!! Recommend to anyone!

My friend told me about this place and I'm so glad I found it! I follow them on instagram (it's enough to make my mouth water) and it really is just as wonderful in real life. The Rocky Road is my weakness but everything is really tasty and fresh. Friendly atmosphere. Relaxed. Proper coffee. I always drop in now when I'm in that neck of the woods. Ace gluten free and vegan options too. AND it does good for the community. Can't fault it.

I've been here for a coffee and cake, a brew before a theatre showing, and lunch meetings, and there's always something yummy (in particular the little taster slices of flapjacks and brownies!). Very affordable and tasty, a little gem only just off the main strip of venues in Chorlton :) proper little find.

Stumbled across the dressing room when visiting friends and needed a cuppa stop. Great find, nice atmosphere. Had delicious banana bread and a good coffee (not always easy to find). Will happily stumble across here again!

Great cafe with lots of lovely food and drinks. Relaxed atmosphere and the added bonus of supporting a small arts charity.

I lunch here quite often, the HLT (halloumi sandwich) is a firm favourite. Also, the work they do training adults with learning difficulties is inspirational...and a peaceful garden to drink coffee is quite rare in the area.
