Excellent Little bar which was hired for a private birthday party of about 30. The buffet was brilliant as were the staff and drinks.

We had the most amazing private Birthday party at this fabulous Bar - 'Northenden Untapped' Lee & Debbie (owners) went over and beyond in their preparation and ensuring everything run smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble. Debbie laid on a truly plentiful & delicious buffet - the whole presentation was first class I can honestly say we could not have wished for better venue/service to celebrate our special day

A very frustrating experience. Rude incompetent barman. Quite expensive for a pretty drab bar in Northenden. My friends and I will travel the short trip to Didsbury. Nicer crowd and better bars.

Just what Northenden needed. Small but perfectly formed on trend bar with tapas or cheese / meat boards. Booked for a neighbours ladies only catch up. Not for children. Ideal for a first date or a catch up.

A family run local bar within our village, lovely staff, nice ambience and welcoming the minute you walk through the door. Immaculate and lots of choice of drink to choose from. Always a great atmosphere with couples, families and kids of the two and four legged kind. Opens afternoon and closed Mon - Tues always worth a visit and the inviting vision of the lights is enough to tempt you in definitely a favourite

This is exactly the bar that Northenden needed. It is so different to all the rest. It's small, quirky, quiet yet vibrant. The owners and staff are friendly and added to the experience. It is decorated well with just the right amount of seating. The atmosphere has been good for each visit. There are lots of beers to choose from and one draft lager. Bottles of cider etc available from a chiller. Visit, relax, enjoy and return.

A fabulous local bar in the heart of the community in Northenden, Lee and Debbie and the staff are so welcoming it’s such a friendly place to go for a drink and snacks, the quality ales that they sell are astounding, I would highly recommend this bar and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Great atmosphere, staff very attentive but not overpowering excellent range of beers and fantastic offer as we went on a Wednesday so got a pizza from a local company on offer will be going back

My very favourite bar in Manchester, in fact Untapped was voted Bar of the Year 2021 in our annual New Year's Eve awards. Lee and Debbie are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. Very dog friendly so a great place to break up a walk along the Mersey 🙂

THE BEST BAR. We are so lucky to have this absolute gem on our doorstep. There is no bar like Northenden Untapped. The owners are absolutely amazing, the staff are lovely. It's our favourite place, it feels like a second home to us. Debby and Lee are both amazing people (the owners) and couldn't do anymore for you. Beers are amazing, but they also do a fantastic selection of wines and gin if craft beer isn't your thing. Super lucky to have this bar where we live. Oh, and it's DOG FRIENDLY too!

Went there for a drink before a group of friends. Was very pleasantly surprised with the extensive range of wines, beers and spirits. Very different from a normal bar. Been back a few times and recommend it very much. Debbie and Lee make it extra special for you. Without doubt a 5 star place.

Love this bar, and Lee, Debs and all the staff are so so friendly, nothing is to much bother, always happy to see us and give there time to come and have a chat, see how we are doing and how things are going. The craft beer is amazing for the hubster and the wine always the best for myself. Debs always willing to put nibbles on to delight costumers. If you have never payed this quirky welcoming bar already, then it’s a must do!!! And SOON 😀 We need more of these establishments 🥰

Northenden Untapped is a lovely place to be.. a warm welcome and a fine selection of craft ale.. you can always find something new and always find someone to chat to ..Lee and Debby and the team make sure it's a memorable visit..they sponsored the Northenden Boat Race on August Bank holiday weekend in aid of the Christie and we enjoyed a fine Aberdeen Angus burger cooked on the outdoor bbq.. laughs laughs laughs .. thanks for being there ! Make sure you stop in for a jar !! Recommended!

Cozy, friendly and comfortable. A large selection of beers with the best landlady and landlord. Nothing is too much trouble. 5stars Everytime !

Absolutely superb; staff are friendly, and very knowledgeable, there’s a great choice of craft beers on keg, cask and a great selection of wine and beers available to take away. They’re Dog friendly (mine gets a huge fuss and treats whenever she’s in there) and there’s a nice little outside seating area too. Absolute gem of a place - highly recommend popping in for a beer or two.

What a great bar - well worth the hop across the river to visit! A great selection of quality ales, friendly folk, a nice atmosphere and no hint of the bland, corporate offerings found so often now. The owner was very welcoming and relaxed - he gave great recommendations and clearly knows his beers

What a little gem! We stopped here after doing a bit of Google research and I'm so glad we did. The owner and his wife were so lovely and friendly. He showed allowed my partner to sample the beer before ordering which we'd lovely. We will definitely be returning to place to experience the comedy night. Please support this lovely friendly bar.

Small friendly bar with a choice of real ales. First time visited. I would go again on occasion (prices a little above my budget ) worth a visit ! Comedy night once a month. Cheese board and Proper Pork Pies.

A super-cozy bar in the middle of Northenden estate. Selection of beer small however operating as a 'free house' allows them to source and serve anything from anywhere. Fair prices and outstanding service are definite upsides limited range of snack is the only let-down, however having spoken to the very friendly owners i have no doubt they will allow you to order a delivery to the 'free house'. Please be curteous and inquire within though.

We absolutely love Untapped, the ambiance is fantastic, the staff are friendly warm and friendly and the beer is second to none!

Northenden has a hip, trendy and vibrant bar with a clientele of young professionals who are a great launch and guess what, this is the place! If you're lucky you'll be served behind by bar by either local legend Colin Manford, regional comedy hero or Mark "the nose" Frampton, known for his sophisticated palate and on the money wine recomendations. Book ahead on busy nights and enjoy the wide selection of ales, lagers and wines. There's menu changes regularly with the number of breweries this place has relationships with. You won't be disappointed on choice.

This bar is such a lovely setting, warm and welcoming and very unique lovely music in the background whilst sipping on amazing craft beer and lagers such as Wrexham lager. My first time at this bar and I will most definitely be returning :)

It is by far the best place in Northenden and surrounding areas. I would go here over anywhere in Didsbury. The staff are so friendly and attentive but not at all invasive, you can have a friendly chatt or sit quietly in a corner. The quality of beer and wine is better than anywhere I've ever been and it has games and a warm welcome for you children if you want a quiet family drink. There is really very little I can say against this bar, it is definitely our new favourite.

A much needed upmarket bar in Northenden!! Extensive selection of Gin and Ale. Friendly staffs and customers, a great little place to catch up with friends or when you just fancy a couple on the way home from work! Warm welcoming atmosphere and is becoming very popular already with the locals. 🍻
