This is such a lovely bar. Great atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and go above and beyond for their customers.

Stopped off at this lovely place whilst on a bike ride with friends. This has got to be one of the warmest/friendliest places we’ve ever visited. Lovely welcome from the owners and the locals. Drink choices spot on. Highly recommend and we will definitely be popping in again.

Wow what a great gem of a bar this is . great atmosphere and warm welcome from the owner .good selection of beers and spirits on offer this is one you've got to put on your. Must visit list . Opposite where the " new Fleetwood" used to be in the centre of Banks

My sister-in-law & I were on a Sunday afternoon walk & decided to pop in to the wine bar, we were not disappointed the owner was very attentive & friendly nothing was to much trouble. We sat in the beer garden at the back. Lovely place it won’t be the last time we will be visiting. Well recommend thankyou. S.Caunce

Ralph's Wife's is a well run friendly little bar in the village of Banks. Everyone is afforded a warm welcome by Mal, the owner, and dogs are welcome too. They do not sell food, it is, though, the place to visit for a quiet drink and a chat.

My husband and I visited last Friday for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. The place isn’t massive but it’s got a lovely atmosphere, the owner was very welcoming and we were able to bring our dog with us. We will be visiting again.

The cafe bar is a beautiful, friendly place in a quiet location just outside southport. The venue boasts a great selection of wines and beers and is dog friendly. It's a very recent find for us and we love the friendly and informal atmosphere in historical and elegant surroundings. The bar was originally a bank and has retained some of the original features. The bar is comfortable and the owner has great taste in music..today's selection was from Keane and coldplay. It is exceptionally clean, disabled toilets...immaculate...ramp and parking. There is outdoor seating for warmer months. Most definately worth a visit.

Had a walk here with my dog soon after it opened . I was hoping for tea and cake but ended up with crisps. No cakes were being served which is a real shame for those who don’t want an alcoholic drink. My dog was made to feel very welcome and the hot chocolate was lovely. I felt very relaxed sitting in an armchair reading. Opening times vary so I had to check their Facebook page for updates. Great addition to Banks I wish the owners great success and hopefully on my next daytime visit they’ll be cake!

Ralph's Wife's coffee and bar is an excellent addition Banks in Southport - excellent selection of craft Beers. It's cosy, stylish with great attentive staff. The owner Mal - hovered around the guests and made sure everyone was fed n watered.. 10/10....well recommended.
