Absolutely 💯 fantastic food staff and lovely warm fire. All 10 of us had lovely starters , mains. We will be back. It was my special birthday with my family .

Visited here with little boy and husband recently for evening meal, the food was delicious all home made and so tasty, the staff was friendly and very welcoming, nice atmosphere and cosy pub would visit again

Visited tonight with hubby and both had the Sunday roast, it was absolutely delicious. We both had the turkey which came with an assortment of different veg, the tastiest mashed potatoes, delicious roast potatoes and the best gravy i think i have ever tasted. Lovely clean pub with a roaring fire, lovely staff too. Well done to you all 👏👏👏

Went the Plough and Harrow this afternoon. Absolutely outstanding, Dan the barman was great, very friendly welcoming and well mannered. We only went for a quick lunch so both ordered a baguette (one tuna, one steak) both tremendous and excellent value for money. Also had a chat with the owner Aaron who was also friendly and welcoming! Overall would highly recommend and will definitely be returning very soon.

Brilliant food is great staff great and the owner Aarron is very amendable. I went with a party of 12, we all had thee course and everybody was happy with all they had. We did not have a single complaint amongst us all. Aaron rounded off an excellant evening by giving everybody a complimentary lemon cello a very nice touch. This was my second visit here will be back😀

From the minute I walked in I was impressed beautiful decor spotlessly clean . Warm friendly welcome from staff . And as for the food absolutely top quality I was even impressed by the plates it was served on. So happy to have a place to eat of this quality close to home. I have been back to the Plough twice this week, it is that good! First visit I had garlic mushrooms to start and lasagne. Portions were big and the food was amazing! Last night I had the steak and chips with peppercorn sauce. Steak cooked perfect and the meal was beautiful. Staff are great too!

Another excellent meal, chicken schnitzel. I feel very comfortable going in on my own. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good chef.

Another great meal in this pub, lovely atmosphere and great staff. Whoever picks the background play list needs a pay rise, music is superb. Nice one

This place has become our local after moving to the area last year. We were sad after it’s closures for a couple of weeks. However it’s reopened and just as good if not better with better opening times. Today we ate in here for the first time under the new owners and were very impressed. My husband had the chicken kebab skewers, myself the fish and chips and my son got to make his own pizza. The food was hot and tasty….. as a result we booked there and then for mother day. Great little pub to have on our doorstep.

Dropped in for food and drinks knowing this is in new hands. The food was superb, garlic mushrooms to start and the chicken schnitzel for main. Food was piping hot and plentiful. There was a female singer on for two hours during our time there, she was so good and it added to our boss time. Definitely return for a meal in the restaurant. They also allow dogs in the bar area where you can eat and drink too. About time Skem had a proper place to chill out to eat , drink and be entertained. Nice one Plough and Harrow

This is our local , we eat out here regular at least once a week . This place is a hidden gem , a cosy pub with friendly staff and the food is amazing We always enjoy our meals , including our children . I would highly recommend to visit .

we live a 25 min walk from here but often take the time to visit, the place was given a lick of paint not long ago and looks good for it, catch the weather and you'll enjoy the outdoor seating and watch the world go by

Great service when we arrived, shown straight to our table and drinks order taken. We perused the menu and were not rushed to make our choices. The waiter was training a young lady and they were both attentive and courteous. We ordered and had a short wait for the food, it arrived presented well and was all fresh, no frozen microwave meals here. Fresh hand cut, double cooked chips served in baskets was a nice touch. I had a mixed grill which was cooked perfectly, My mother and wife both had the steak pie, extremely large portions for the ladies. We really enjoyed our meals and will be back in the future.

Having moved to Upholland earlier in the year we wanted a pub grub place within walking distance, we have tried two in the area and were really disappointed. Last night my nephew and I had a walk here for a few beers and he had the burger I had the gammon both were cooked well (a bit of something else with the gammon would be nice) and very tasty. Really enjoyed our visit of a party of 9 for a birthday. Had to pre-order food 24 hours before but no issues with that. Salt and pepper chicken starter was excellent along with the service and the cask ales where spot on. Only issues we had around the table was that it was rather cold (the pub not the food) and that both stroganoffs didn’t taste like stroganoff, it had quite a strong taste of burger sauce and was orange! Other than that I would recommend eating here, especially the lamb which was amazing

Turned up with no booking for restaurant and was politely seated in bar area (restaurant fully booked and rightly so). Was moved into restaurant after a cancellation. We ate as two veggies and one meat eater, cannot stress enough how enjoyable every aspect of each meal was. Mains including sides and salad were all spot on. Service could not be faulted. Highly recommended!!!

We have visited here several times now with our children and with friends and as a couple. The food is absolutely top quality all freshly cooked and extremely tasty. The drinks are lovely especially the rhubarb gin ! The staff are all lovely, very professional yet friendly and nothing is to much trouble. Since the pub was taken over by Chris about 18 months ago, he has completely turned it around. It is now very comfortable and relaxed both indoors and outdoors with the bonus of being dog friendly in the bar area. In the restaurant, the prices are very reasonable, the food is very good and the service is excellent. Altogether a friendly atmosphere which is second to none. Keep up the good work Chris.

Very clean and comfortable place to eat. The John Smiths bitter was good and the flat iron steak salad was wonderful, and well priced.

Absolutely no doubt that this is the best pub in the area for food and families. The staff and management are friendly and go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect ! cant recommend enough. Been loads of times and its been amazing everytime.

Went here with my mum and baby as it is fairly local and I've heard good reviews. I wasn't disappointed, the place is lovely inside and out, with a spacious car park and friendly staff. We each had a sandwich, both were generously filled and made with fresh quality ingredients. Very reasonable value too. I would like to return to try the main menu as there were some tasty sounding things on there. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

This was the first time that we had been to the Plough and Harrow in something like 20 years. (We went once when we first moved to the area and didn't like it at all.) However we had been told that it had changed and that the food is good....so when the opportunity arose decided to give it a try.

Eaten here many times for lunch & dinner and it never disappoints! Favourite meal has to be The Plough and Harrow Burger but even the Steak Salad is lovely (for those healthy days)! I love everything about this place, the food, drinks & atmosphere. It’s very relaxed and a great place to chill with friends or enjoy a nice romantic meal with the partner! All the staff are very attentive friendly & polite. Great credit to the owner, he’s turned the place round massively! Excited for Summer, eating outside watching the sunset.

We had been meaning to visit this pub/restaurant for some time as it has been renovated and is now under new management.

Fantastic friendly local, always a warm welcome and massive improvements since the new owner. Food is fantastic, favourite meals being the Pork Mixed Grill (the black pudding Bon Bon is the highlight!) & the Plough & Harrow Burger. We would recommend to everyone.

Arranged to meet an old friend for a catch up over food and this was the middle location. I had heard that new management was onsite and heard good reviews about the food...and we were not disappointed. The welcome was great, I had as early and felt very comfortable as a female alone, was taken to my table and that’s when the prosecco started to flow.

A traditional pub-restaurant tucked away at the bottom of Upholland. Be aware that if you arrive in a wide truck you won't get near as the road outside is physically width limited, The menu is good and the food is well cooked with generous portions and cheerful service. Good value and a nice place to eat, even when quiet in mid-week.

We were staying in the area overnight and came across The Plough and Harrow, looked lovely from the outside and was greeted by a very accommodating member of staff Chris who gave us all the information we needed. We returned later and again, served by Chris, enjoyed a lovely meal, the main burger meal and homemade chicken curry. We enjoyed both, very tasty, presented nicely. Pub really tastefully decorated, relaxed atmosphere. Would definately return if were in the area. Thank you!

We noticed this restaurant as driving back to our hotel. It has a lot of kerb appeal and looks good. When we went back for supper at 7:10pm looking for a table for 2 unfortunately they were fully booked but said they had a table reserved for 9:00 pm and if we wouldn't mind vacating the table before then we could eat. So worth it. The food is delicious and the wine good. The price very fair. Would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

We took a chance on eating here after receiving a leaflet through the door and were very pleasantly surprised. The menu is not extensive, but the food we ate was excellent; the best beef stroganoff and plentiful sea bass.

Good Sunday Roast, wouldn't bother going in the week as the meat and the veg is dry.The drinks are reasonably priced

The plough & Harrow pub Upholland, has a fantastic atmosphere, the table and seating are comftable, staff are really attentive, the Hughes Brother were fantastic had the place dancing, the only criticism was the beef stroganoff & the chicken curry were very bland no taste at all, but it won't put us off going.

Lovely tasty buffet provided, good entertainment. Even catered for my sister who is gluten free. Staff were very helpful and very pleasant
