Can't say enough about this place. The food is delicious, great value for money and Amanda is a very welcoming and accommodating host. It's slightly out of the town centre but well worth the couple of minutes walk to get to it. Best cafe in Darwen bar none!

Shopping is a pain to me ,I have to do it but I don't enjoy it ,it bores me but sometimes it's not such a bore, walking around Kirkby Market I purchased some great cheeses to go with some amazing craft beers I had purchased on a holiday over the Christmas period in Cologne & Dusseldorf ,after getting several cheeses I stopped by Fuel Stop Cafe in the market ,ordered a coffee that was served steaming hot and chilled out. Coffee served in here was spot on ,tasty, strong and great value for money, its hardly surprising that this cafe is so popular with coffee of this quality, its easy to locate in Kirkby Market in Kirkby Town Centre and well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Small cafe on the riverside walk at Conder Green. The menu is not huge, but it is different, with exceptionally good food … the Summer Salad is to die for. The staff are lovely, really friendly. Even the toilets are good! Well worth a visit.

My twin brother Stephen and I were wandering around town randomly dropping into pubs and bars when we decided to visit Albert's, a great bar down Seel Street. A very cool looking sports bar,a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport, great decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Seel Street. We were here on a Thursday afternoon, we track and traced and sanitised our hands and we were allocated a table were we ordered a beer each, served in no time at all, we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers. My beer was good, a light, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink, on a hot afternoon a totally refreshing brew indeed and price wise great value for money . We both really enjoyed our beers in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Albert's is easy to locate along Seel Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 4pm till 3am. Friday to Sunday, Midday till 3am. A great bar, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Went for brunch and had a lovely cup of coffee and a slice of home made lemon drizzle, great service in a nice little coffee shop.

A gorgeous little cafe close to the city centre - everything vegan and gluten-free and nothing boring on the menu! The woman who runs this place is the loveliest and was happy to talk us through everything. The food was beyond fantastic. Couldn't have asked for anything more and will definitely be coming back again and again!

We have been loyal customers of Pullman Jack’s since the days of social distanced queueing and buying pies out of a hatch. When our favorite local food spot closed a few months ago, we were truly disappointed and missed it dearly. Fast forward to today, and it has reopened as a family-style bistro with an amazing range of food. Previously, we had tried every pie flavor they offered and, while we had our favorites, there wasn't a bad one in the bunch. Now, they have taken those incredible pie flavors and reinvented them into a series of delicious meals. As a former regular, you might recognise some of their specials making a comeback on the new menu. However, there are also plenty of new dishes to try, including an all-day breakfast. We had the crispy sticky chicken (one of my favorites from when it was a weekly special) and it did not disappoint. There are a few tables available if you want to dine inside and a couple outside, plus they offer the whole menu as a takeaway. While they do serve coffee and soft drinks, this place is definitely more about the food than the drinks. They also have a range of ice cream, just in time for the summer months. In-store, there is a QR code you can scan to be notified when the pies will be available to order. A couple of years ago, we had our Christmas dinner from here and loved it. If it was offered again, I’d sign up in a heartbeat, as it was restaurant-quality food that only took half an hour in the oven and freed up my whole Christmas morning. This is an amazing local business that should not only be supported but also celebrated. The food is outstanding, and anywhere in the centre of town, you could easily pay twice as much for a meal of this quality. Pullman Jack’s is truly a Waterloo secret spot that has come back better than ever!
