The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North East

Warkworth has a small nucleus of great places to eat, and we'd never tried Bertrams, so we went. It was a no brainer given the quality of other reviews. The only downside was that we had to get in and out early so were nearly the first people in hence little "atmosphere" but that was our agenda not the restaurant, and we were there for the food... ... which was first class. Superb hake served with a beautiful herby crab pate and dauphinoise potatoes. The flavours were immense and everything was cooked to perfection. You notice the difference with real quality and top chef standards and this delivered for me. The lemon meringue dessert was the proverbial icing on the metaphorical cake. Superb.

A little gem. Making the trip out to the relative backwater of Billingham felt unusual, but was rewarded by gorgeous grub, lovely surroundings and great service (and easy parking, unlike other local town centre eateries) I'm vegetarian and there were a few exciting options, not just the now almost defacto (replacing the 90s/00s vegetable lasagne) "beyond" burger that many places offer as their the veggie / vegan option, or vegetarian pizza -for the record, I went for the cauliflower steak. I defy ANYONE not to marvel at it's taste explosion. I liked it that there was plenty of space around tables, so many places have customers packed in like sardines.

Lovely find . It’s for walkers and cyclists so the floor is understandably a bit muddy ! The decor is nice and cosy . I had an amazing cheese and onion scone with generous amount of butter supplied . I do agree with some of the reviews that the tables could be wiped down but I arrived at a very busy time

Great bar went to see local drag act.bar was full pretty long wait for a drink but resonanalby priced

Great hospitality and excellent course Greens were slow due to top dressing been undertaken apart from that great to be back. Food and service was excellent Hopefully be back soon

Had been to the Sunday Market at South Shields. We decided to go again to Suzies cafe for a coffee. We found a parking space and my husband went to get them I had a hot soup (vegable) and my husband had a coffee. Both really enjoyable. While were.sitting in the car.a car pulled in a disabled bay, no disabled badge.on. They didn't pay. I'm disabled and .always show my badge. Then another car pulls.up ( we were in a norma bayl as no disable.were free when we parked) along beside us, gets out dad,ma m amdchild.They too didn't pay. When we were coming out spotted two traffic wardens - hope 2 cars get a ticket.

Fuimos el viernes 28 de marzo para una jubilación de amigos, éramos 30, tuvimos que pedir nuestra comida como pueden entender para una fiesta tan grande. Una vez que estábamos todos sentados ahogados solo tuvimos que esperar unos minutos hasta que llegaron nuestros entrantes, entonces había suficiente descanso para nuestras comidas principales, la comida es absolutamente deliciosa toda nuestra fiesta lo disfrutamos a fondo. El camarero y la camarera estaban a mano si necesitas algo que eran geniales, al igual que el personal del bar Gracias por su conocimiento para una gran noche. Volveremos 😁

The flavours were really nice from here, good portions and if you want something healthy instead of greasy it’s ace. Decent prices for what you get and the quality. Would go again.

Brilliant vegan options and extremely dog friendly! We loved this place. So friendly with brilliant veggie/vegan selection. exceptionally tasty and good value. Would 100% recommend a visit.

Way over priced, not very clean we both had hairs on our plates the milk jug was not very clean .after saying that the tarts were quite nice.

I has been living in Portugal many years and I love Portuguese food and people because usually are friendly as was staff on this place. I was looking for a good coffee and I found a Portuguese coffee that was not cheap but great. After I eat a Full British breakfast that was correct. I miss bras cod, bife a Portuguesa and many dishes that I wish can taste here

Had lunch here today and it was delicious, clean plates all round. Cafe owner was lovely and friendly. Recommend!
