Great location if needing to overnight at Heathrow.

This shop is brilliant. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff and you can take all your old bottles of olive oil, shampoo, washing up liquid, shower gel etc etc and get them refilled. I would highly recommend it. They do lovely soaps and beauty products in there too.

2 stars for the food ; waitress failed to concentrate when taking our order as it was incorrect . Minus another star for the shocking noise in there when it’s busy - can’t hear yourself speak it’s like a kid’s playground (due to the low ceiling?) . Minus another star as a criticism of the owners definitely not taking note of how ridiculously short - and I mean it (!) the teenage waitresses wear their skirts. I’m not a prude, but one girl’s short skirt on the day we visited may just as well been a belt - the tall girl with the long wavy fair hair could barely bend over to serve the food . That sense of dress should be for her own social life , certainly not for waitressing - it’s a deterrent for decent customers. Please would Old Village Cafe management install a set of high standards for staff attire as I think it’s unprofessional and unattractive to be exposed to someone’s future laundry basket contents .

Popped into The General Eliott for a pint on a rainy day a few weeks ago around Easter. The location is great - right next to the Union Canal with a lovely view, and there’s convenient parking nearby. The atmosphere inside was cosy and inviting, and the outdoor seating overlooking the canal would be ideal on a sunny day. Service was quick but not particularly friendly. The bartender didn’t smile or make eye contact, which was a shame considering it wasn’t crowded. We only had a pint of Guinness, which was nicely poured and enjoyable. Didn’t try the food this time, but I’d be happy to come back and give it a go. They also have an events calendar with live music, quizzes, etc. A good spot overall with potential for a better experience with just a bit more attention to detail.

This is an AMAZING restaurant!!!! We ate here 3 times in 4 days in London area. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is so, so good. It is in a neighborhood and an unexpected place at the end of a road. They have their own car park also. I can't recommend it enough.

Poor lack of attention ! Beer options poof apparently they didn't get a delivery ?? Wednesday??? Now bank hol Monday..... Ordered blue cheese burger which looked fine but arrived no blue cheese .. Sent it back !!! Replacement just arrived actualy very nice And I can taste the blue cheese so well done. My wife had the tandoori chicken skewer which were also very nice. Issue dealt with by the way of a Complimentary pint Staff very apologetic and proffessional Would we go again ??? NO but you never know R

Got a takeaway and there was hair in the salad which hadn’t been opened yet. The sandwich which was made was dripping grease everywhere with such thick bread. Sundae tastes so weird I cannot describe it. Onyl good thing was the fresh orange juice was delicious. Also so overpriced.

Very good prices, with very friendly staff. Nice to stop off here for a quick drink/snack while walking the dog in Rusilip Lido

It's quite a cute pub and the food is great!

Good find in Hounslow. Great simple Georgian dishes. Was very full. Would recommend people to give it a try if they haven't tried Georgian food before.
