The Hungry Diner in Hillingdon

Gran comida, el desayuno fue un placer inesperado. Grandes porciones también. El servicio también era bueno. Era una buena manera de comenzar nuestro día.

Had such a pleasant experience for a late lunch. Staff are so friendly, helpful and I must say exceptionally polite and the girls were so funny and humorous and always smiling. Nothing was a problem for them ! Table, Cutlery, plates, coffee cups cleaner than in my house. Food was hot and cooked perfectly. I Felt nothing in leaving £5 for a tip except I wish I left a tenner for the girls. Keep up the good work when you reopen. The boss is called Tolga if I heard correctly and Tolga you trained your staff very well. See you in better days ahead when you open. Gordon Ramsey couldn't find fault

Came her last month, we ordered our food, and took a seat, I had warm waters which they were happy to get for me, the food was ok, a little different to what it used to be, I think new people have taken it over. New faces and new waiting staff, We were enjoying our catch up when the manager came to tell us that they are closing, we said what already, it was only 5pm. He said that they close at 5pm now. Food was alright, you can't really go wrong with Chips.

Out of all the 3 restaurants in that little area this was by far the best. Has a great breakfast there and the people and service was excellent... My choice for this area

Visiting family recently near Uxbridge we came across this wonderful cafe which does an all day breakfast as well as a wide ranging menu. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food cooked to a high standard. The eggs were obviously fresh. The coffee was excellent for the UK. Prices were good value and the servings generous.

I have had a few meals here , Breakfast, very good, nice large portions and Tea or Coffee included . I've had various Dinners here and they have all been great , love The Homemade Shepherds Pie , The Staff are really Friendly and helpful. Always my first choice for a sit in meal .

Never returning to this cafe again. Staff are rude and miserable. Had a Luke warm jacket potato and when asked for a new one. The chef said it was boiling when he put his finger in? Who does that. Secondly never argue with a customer. I left feeling upset as he never even asked how it was when he bought the new one up. Me and my family will NOT be returning...you've lost a lot of business

Been coming here with the kids for a while and the service is great every time. The owners are lovely and accommodating. Diner is really clean and the food is always perfect. Definitely recommend!

Hi, haven't been here in a while, came yesterday 3/1/19. It wasn't that busy, I ordered the quarter chicken with salad and fries, with beans ,and I had a mug of hot water,(6.70) the server was a man I hadn't met before, usually Gaynor is the waitress but there were some new faces serving yesterday, my friend had a breakfast and coffee. The chicken was smaller than usual, not much meat on it,and it had a strange taste, Portion of salad was ok, the child's were nice and crispy. My friend enjoyed her lunch , This place gets busy, we got there at noon, and sat till 2.20pm, just catching up, and even though we didn't order anything else they didn't rush us to vacate our seats, when it got busier. Lots of variety on the menu, prices still reasonable. Not expensive.

I decided to have a main meal at lunch time and chose the roast beef. This was served with generous portions of veg and I did not have to wait long. The meal was delicious and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended (the beef and the place!)

I actually go to the hungry diner almost every day either i have a full English Breakfast or sometimes a roast dinner. there is a very good selection to choose from on the menu including jacket potato, toasted sandwiches, rump & sirloin steaks, salads,burgers etc. the staff are very friendly & with an excellent customer service. It is open 7 days a week Monday to Saturday from 700am > 800pm & Sunday 800am > 600pm.

To save getting an evening meal, I decided to stop here (my first visit) on the way home. I was greeted by friendly staff and ordered the lamp chops for a most reasonable price. The meal was very tasty with a generous serving of chips and peas. I shall return!

Wasn’t expensive, food freshly cooked and appeared clean and tidy. Service was good. We had two chicken curry specials which was plentiful and tasty albeit, randomly, two completely different sized portions which we sorted at the table. Child’s burger and fries went down well enough.

This is a friendly and welcoming cafe, reasonably priced with lots of choice and very good service! Perfect for the morning after the night before!

My partner is already a fan of The Hungry Diner, and goes there whenever he can for breakfast. We both went last week, and I can now definitely recommend it. The place is absolutely spotless, the staff are clearly busy but also friendly and welcoming....

Come here with my friends alot . Food is always amazing. And customer service too! Lady behind the bar seemed a bit rushed off her feet but that's good... shows it is busy!
