What a lovely surprise to come across such a little gem near our hotel at Heathrow! From the warm welcome to authentic beautifully flavoured food freshly cooked and served pipping hot, it was a special treat to experience true Indian cuisine without the fuss of expensive restaurant. Well done to all the team, keep up with the good work and delicious food.

Amazing food, my friends and I come here every week and never leave disappointed. The chilli garlic mogo, lamb chops and Everest lamb are to die for. The pub itself has a rustic feel about it. Happy to call this my local. Albert and all the staff are stars.

Food was pretty good, staff was excellent, and the other customers were friendly. Good place to spend a long layover if you're coming from the airport.

I tend to mix it up and try different dishes and each time I am never disappointed. Cosy old style pub with a truly great atmosphere which I cannot recommend highly enough!

First time coming down to this pub and I must say, the food is to die for, Literally the best pub I’ve been to so far, the culture is brilliant they had the footie on all night which was great. Definitely will be back.

What a superb meal. Something I don't see often when cultures clash with food. Nepal, Indian food in a British pub. I love it.. Everything was just great and we definitely over ordered as I wanted to try everything. Large portions at very affordable prices. Dumplings were great, fish, meat platter etc were just awesome.

Me and a group of friends came for food and drinks before we continued our night out. The staff was nice and professional, food was really good and the atmosphere was good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for food and drinks. I felt warm fuzzy and happy.

Listed as pub with Thai but now Pub with Indian (Nepalese) which was not a problem for us. Good beer and pub atmosphere with sports screens in bar and nice area away for eating.

Went to The King William yesterday for their momos, very delicious. When we walked in, we were greeted by staffs and was given the choice of choosing our own seat. At first glance it’s your typical pub but we didn’t go there for the drinks, it was the food that we were after. We had the chicken and vegetable momos, veg noodles, masala chips. The staff was friendly, the food took a little long to come out but it didn’t disappoint. The match was on so it was a bit loud and at times couldn’t hear myself by that was to be expected.

Worth staying the night before your flight near Heathrow. Tasty food and great service.

The combination of tasty Indian food with an authentic pub environment makes this place a hidden gem. Lamb chops and tandoori wings were succulent and the lal maas for main really got the tastebuds going. Staff were accommodating and very attentive. Will be coming back!

One star short for masala papad. Masala was given separately. Chili garlic mushroom top class. Shish kabab ok.

Need to improve on the air-conditioning

Only a half mile walk down Sipson Road from our airport hotel, this 600 year old pub was the perfect last day place to eat, if you care about character, aurhenticity, and great food. The specialty cuisine is Nepali and Indian, with bounteous choices. We had the mixed Nepali grill for two and a side of fluffy rice, and everything the other diners ordered looked wonderful. Staff was kind and friendly and the ales are great, so was the house wine. Prices were extremely reaaonable. What a happy find.

Great meal with attentive service. I was on an unexpected layover at Heathrow and chose to walk to King William. I was very satisfied and hope to return someday if my travels bring me that way again.

What a find. Superb Nepalese food, nicely spiced and subtle even when hot, but the USP is that this is still an English local pub, serving real ales.

Truly delicious. I ate Nepalese starting with a fiery but subtle chilli belly pork and then a Gurkha Lamb. Delicious throughout. And the icing on the cake, they’re also still a local pub and sell real ales (Abbot and Old Speckled Hen tonight). Heaven.

Staying near Heathrow and walked a few minutes to try something more local and found this place. Great environment. Wasn’t planning on ordering dinner but ordered chicken Kauai and mushroom rice and it might be the best Indian food I’ve had.

Been dining at this place quite frequently from Uxbridge to West Drayton and been recommending few people too. Its sad to see the the taste of the food has gone down since the price has gone up.

The food was very nice and the service was very good. The bar lady was very polite and humble. I am not into alcohol so I don’t know about alcohol but the lady just explained and recommended drink according to my preferences and it was really nice. Love the service.

One meal very poor. Fish not cooked and second attempt batter so overdone was not really edible. Sorry but doubt we would eat here again although would visit the pub for drinks as busy and good atmosphere.

King William IV in Sipson is a wonderful establishment. There is a wide selection of drinks and fantastic food on offer. It is also a great place to watch the football and unwind. Everything was perfect. The owner (Arya) is very friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated and enjoyed our conversations last night. Thank you for a great night. I hope to be back soon. Definitely the best pub/restaurant in town!

Great food and very friendly atmosphere

The staff and the food are 10/10. I cannot place a fault on those. The only reason Gumba doesn’t get a 5* review is because their opening times are so erratic! It feels like they open whenever they want. It’s 7.30pm on a Friday evening, and they’re randomly closed! Hope they improve on this.

First time ordered food for takeaway and it was amazing. Steamed momo were nice. Chilli chicken amazing. Rice chicken curry was also nice. Just was a bit disappointed with chowmin as it was over fried and oil was smelling old. But overall I would again order from here and would love to go to the restaurant in person. Highly recommended!!!

If you want to go and have a best quality of Nepalese Flavour i would recommend Gumba, food service awesome and its flavours reminds me of my town Kathmandu. This is best Restaurant to go and eat. Best starter :Pork jheer

We hosted my daughter's graduation lunch. Usha and colleagues catered the food to our needs. The food was delicious, served with love and patience. They did not rush and let us enjoy our memorable time with family and friends. To our surprise, they played music to the occasion and also organised Prosecco to celebrate the occasion. I highly recommend Gumba restaurant for their food especially momos with jhol, chicken chowmein, chicken biryani and veg fried rice ! Will definitely go back for food and celebrate occasions. Popped in 4 1 drink as the food wasn't being served.. place was dead around lunchtime.. not the thriving pub I used 2 no well.. maybe another visit @ a different time maybe in the evening.. might b a different vibe 🤔

Have given 5 stars in the past. Recent review below 31st May 2022 As usual we decided to get momos from here because they are quite tasty and achar is good too. However the quantity of filling is decreasing nowadays. Generally you get 2 pots of sauce with one plate of momo so I had told them to swap and give me more of orange colour chutney and just one of red one. They have also given me extra in the past. Anyway my partner comes home and there are 5 pots ( I ordered 2 plates of momos) and they charged us 50 p extra and also the sauce was not even half full in any of the pots?? I am bit disappointed with the service and how they are reducing everything but have the audacity to charge more to the customer. Not sure if we will be ordering again even though taste is good, quantity and customer service is going down.

The King William IV is a Thai & British food place. They have nice spring rolls. I enjoyed the ribs. There is Sport going on all of the TVs. It has a very good atmosphere.
