My first time in this pub. It is tidy and clean and pleasantly laid out. Very nice pub with a good beer garden that has views over the canal.

The ladies are lovely and helpful! The pub food is generous and very earnestly prepared. They took great care to explain the choices in the cheese for the ploughman’s lunch. Sat on the patio on a warm summer’s evening and loved it.

Family holiday, lovely service with friendly approach. My little boy loved the pool table.

Hello... family from across the pond here!! We have a blended English and American family and had rented an air b&b around the corner from this pub. Our air b&b experience was awful and we are working on refunds..... .BUUUUTTTTTTT we ended up around the corner from the friendliest pub ever. Keep in mind we're Americans so my English pub stereotype is a place that serves home cooked food, cold beer, knows the locals (and gets them riled up on thier sports team choices!) But most of all is a welcoming fun place to hang around. The dolphin did not disappoint, it actually set a very high burden for any pub or bar I walk into now. Between the owners and the staff you will feel like you have known them for years!! To staff and owners: you are most welcome to look us up if you are ever in Seattle, Washington. I would love to reciprocate your hospitality. Also, I'm writing this after watching the English vs Netherlands game and I want to tell you I CAN HEAR YOU ALL SCREAMING/CHEERING ALL THE WAY IN SEATTLE!! LOVES, JODY, STEVE, KATHY ALAN, JENN, OLIVER, BILL, LAURA ETC ETC ETC ... WE HAVE A LARGE FAMILY!!😆😉😉 GO ENGLAND!!

I cannot express how impressed I was when lunching at the dolphin pub yesterday. 4 of us oaps went for lunch and this is a delightful old fashioned pub with great food and atmosphere. Whilst there though my friends husband collapsed and this is where the exceptional staff kicked in. I called an ambulance and trying to relay instructions whilst watching my best friend in panic mode and we thought her husband having a heart attack one of the very young barmaids took my phone off of me and took over. Due to ALL of the staff combined they helped save his life. That is a damn good pub with dedicated well trained staff. I applaud you. I respect you and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Food and drink was lovely to ❤️

Nat and Jim are so welcoming and friendly and can’t do enough to make sure everyone is having a good time. We have been here on many different occasions - evening drinks, to watch football games and Sunday afternoons. Eaten here on many occasions and the food is 10/10 - especially the Sundays roasts. Great variety of foods in the new menu, all very affordable and a lovely home made menu for the kids. Would highly recommend to give the dolphin a visit

We were staying at Uxbridge whilst watching the football at Wembley. James and the staff and the clientele were super friendly. Great atmosphere.

FA Cup Final weekend! Great pub, great staff, really looked after us. Nice to talk football with Anton! And a fine selection of crisps!!!

Been in a few times now on our weekends down from Manchester for the football at Wembley and had some great nights. Always made to feel welcome by the staff and locals alike. Even got bought a drink from the landlord after we beat his team Chelsea!!

It is a nice pub and nice staff! Unfortunately I was only served 1 pint because I was told it’s members only. NOT Good. It could of being a 5x but gave it a 2x😎

We went to hear the band! The band was awesome! We didn't go for food so can't reflect in that. Atmosphere amazing. People so friendly! Such an inviting vibe! Definitely great to go to events here!

Lovely pub, kids friendly and good atmosphere. We had the halloween party here last night and it was amazing! The kids had so much fun. The owner created a very good decoration in the pub and even had a carriages to add up for kids to get entertained. Only thing to suggest, i hope there’s a nibbles food to order here.

Went here for a round of drinks and ended up staying all night! Lovely pub with even more lovely owners. Super accommodating of a large group, I couldn’t recommend this place more to visitors of Uxbridge!

What a gem of a pub! Had a small get together for family and close friends and everyone was absolutely blown away with the food, the attentiveness of the staff and most of all by Jim & Nat. They oozed hospitality and made everyone feel at ease and welcomed. The drinks and food are so reasonably priced and the food we all had was exceptional. Everyone left full of thanks and praise which made us as hosts over the moon. Thank you for a splendid afternoon, we’ll definitely be back.

Popped in with my two children, they have games for the kids to play, football on for me, beer was great, staff friendly and welcoming. Lovely little boozer

Fantastic family run pub. Lovely people, a proper British pub with a nice dart board and pool table. First time in Uxbridge and after visiting a few of the other pubs, was a pleasure to end the night here

I would like to say a big thank you & well done to James & Natalie , we held a small family party at the Dolphin on Saturday. Both James and Natalie welcomed us and looked after us from the moment we walked through the door. The food that we had was exceptional & so well presented , the drinks flowed & they had plenty to choose from. The only thing that let us down was the horrible rain so we was unable to use the lovely garden. Thank you James & Natalie for looking after us so well, we will be back soon.

I'm saying nothing about the food, because I haven't tried it. What I do know is that I visited this place, with a friend, for the first time ever and, know what, we could have been regulars for years past. My kinda pub!

Fabulous place for a venue, nice garden at the back over looking the canal. Buffet we had was very nice and lot of it . Fantastic bar staff and manager , friendly and had some laughs with them. Thank you making all of us welcome , and making it a fantastic evening. Highly recommended place .

Bar maid asked if I wanted red wine with my Corona. I gave her a funny look as that sounds disgusting. Told my friends about it and they said she probably asked if I wanted Lime with my Corona...

Friendly pub, good choice of beers. A bit rough around the edges (could do with some refurbishment). Good for watching sport but needs a pool table and access to the dart board (and some darts).

Had a wonderful time celebrating hubby's 70th birthday, welcoming, fun hosts, lovely buffet , proper pub.

Went lastnight for my birthday with a few girls,we felt very uncomfortable and not welcome there as the son of the owner kept looking over at us,we were quite just wanting a girlie birthday drink,then my guests was told they could not go to the outdoor area for a smoke so we had to stand outside the pub,I confronted the guy but before I could go back in my friends had decided to leave because of the way they had been made to feel so we went to the Elliott 1 minute from there and was made to feel welcome and continued my birthday with more drinks and cake which the owners supplied plates for us,thank you to the Elliott and would not recommend the Dolphin.

Great pub with a comfortable, friendly atmosphere, quick service and hard working staff. To top it off the owner is a lovely man. Sunday lunches are superb with generous portions.

It's a decent pub with a nice garden next to the river. But don't get the Sunday roast, especially with beef. Driest beef I've ever had, couldn't even swallow most of it because of the dryness, and the veg was pretty bad too. Also tried lamb, which was okay.

Lots of pickets go here so watch your pockets

We come here when ever City are at wembley its a great place to visit and the Staff are really friendly serve good food too👍

Had a great day yesterday at the dolphin pub for brother in laws birthday party. The pub laid on a fantastic buffet spread for 60 quests and it was fabulous. Would recommend this pub if you was thinking of having a celebration. Nothing was too much trouble. Well done staff in the kitchen and the bar. You were all great.

I've eaten here quite a few times over the last couple of month with the BOSCH training courses. I can't comment on the price as it's included with the course but the quality is really good.

Next to the canal on a summer evening with the mercury hitting 33 degrees. Doombar £3.60 a pint, cool & refreshing, burger & chips good value @ £5.45, cooked from frozen but hot and served by great staff!

The Dolphin pub is beautiful pub situated next to a gorgeous little canal. You can sit outside in the beer garden and watch the long boats drift on by. The menu is very reasonably priced and has a variety of food. Recommend it.

Ordered a double gin and tonic with SLIMLINE tonic. Instead of informing me they don’t do slimline, the bar lady decided to just palm me off with a normal one, I told her that I was diabetic and didn’t want sugar. She asked if I wanted it with soda water instead, and I said yes, she then topped up the drink when she had already poured some of the regular tonic in previous !. I ordered a large tap water, which I had and left the gin. The pub is basic and dingy and I won’t be returning.

What a wonderful local pub that is clean, friendly, great pub food, efficient staff, live music at weekends with all the memories of what a pub ought to be. Lovely garden along the river. Thoroughly enjoyed a sunny afternoon here.

Nice local pub with decent food (mostly microwave and frozen food). The staff are very friendly and make the effort to know you as an individual. Nice outdoor eating area overlooking the canal.
